Chapter 116: 106 Lord Fengxiang (6200)_4

“That eases my mind,” Casio smiled.

He made a small request.

As an antiques enthusiast, isn’t it normal to want to see the Antiques Departnt warehouse of the Black Spade Organization? To touch things that catch his fancy? To grow more and more fond of them as he does so, then go ahead and buy them at a certain price? All that should be quite within the bounds of reason, wouldn’t you say?

As long as Casio becos a senior level official of the Assassination Departnt, no one in the Antiques Departnt would make a fuss over these trivial matters. They might even praise his dedication and proactive approach to preventing theft in the warehouse.

“So, we’re in agreent?” Casio extended his hand.

“We’re in agreent!”

The two shook hands for the second ti under the sunlight.

A minute later, Casio and White Bird erged from the eting room. Violet had been waiting by the door, while Matthew and his son Jason took a rest, sitting on chairs. As the group of five moved along, Matthew asked casually, “What were you two discussing in there?”

“Nothing really. Mr. White Bird was just expressing his gratitude to . After all, I did save Violet’s life, indirectly,” Casio responded, without so much as blinking an eye. Naturally, he couldn’t let anyone else know about his joining the Black Spade Organization. Best not even let Matthew in on it. More people ant more mouths to feed, and a greater risk.

They all descended the staircase together. Casio and Jason stood together while White Bird pulled Violet aside to whisper sothing to her.

The pair occasionally glanced over and gestured towards Casio, making him the object of their discussion. Violet’s expression seed complex. She opened her mouth to speak a few tis, but swallowed the words and, in the end, reluctantly nodded.

Several black sedans were parked at the entrance to Ivy Hospital. A youth dressed as a secretary stepped forward and whispered sothing to Matthew and Jason. “Sothing’s happened at the Jett Factory? Alright, I understand,” Jason glanced at his son, “Matthew, could you check out the situation at Jett? I need to head straight to City Hall. The mayor and deputy mayor want to discuss sothing with …”

“What about Li Wei?” Matthew asked.

“I’ll give Mr. Li Wei a ride,” a sweet voice chid in.

A slender, even-tempered silhouette approached from afar.

“Well… I would appreciate that,” Matthew responded.

Casio turned to glance at Violet, who was squinting back at him with a smile. A charming mole at the corner of her eye was especially noticeable.

Five minutes later, in a moving black sedan.

Casio and Violet found themselves in an eerily silent car. Casio was a man of few words, and Violet, being an assassin, was quite standoffish. As such, they were ill-suited for light conversation and had to make do with the sound of the car engine.

On the plush backseat, Casio was fiddling with a bronze ring. The surface of the ring was rough and appeared quite ugly, but it contained the Obsession Node that ordinary obsession antiques lacked! Obsession Energy was crucial, but an Obsession Node was even more so!

He wondered what epoch the ring would reveal to him?

Casio was both curious and hesitant.

Now that he had plenty of Obsession Energy stored, and that he possessed two legendary antiques- the Bronze Ring and Wind Elephant Ivory Pendant- he was torn about which to choose first. One was Li Wei’s road to revenge in the third stage, while the other was an enigma.

It was already clear that the cloaked figures Li Wei was up against were nearly impossible to kill. Their numbers were nurous and their strength formidable. They were an unpredictable and inhuman species. Without considerable strength, there was little Casio could do, even if he exploited his secondary Bloodline Boost.

After all, even Gate Master Belon, of the highest order, failed…

Perhaps he should concentrate on enhancing his power quickly using the other legendary antique. Then with amassed strength, he could proceed to the third stage of the Wind Elephant Ivory Pendant. Casio bore a grudge against the era seventy years ago. Fortunately, the energy he currently possessed was more than sufficient.

Amidst his thoughts, the car abruptly ca to a halt.

Violet’s cold yet pleasant voice resonated from the driver’s seat.

“Lord Li Wei, we’ve reached your destination.”

“What did you call ?” Casio abruptly lifted his head.

“Li… Lord Li Wei.”

Violet stuttered, appearing sowhat shy. Her cold, gorgeous face uttering such words struck a strange contrast.

“White Bird must have told her…” Casio thought to himself.

He then knocked on his elbow and spoke.

“Don’t call

Lord Li Wei. Call

Fengxiang. Like White Bird, Fengxiang will be my codena from now on.”

“Lord Fengxiang?” Violet appeared confused.

“Yes, Fengxiang.” Casio nodded.

“Alright, I understand, Lord Fengxiang…”
