??Chapter 1148: 580 Fight to the Death (4300)

Chapter 1148: 580 Fight to the Death (4300)

After a session of chaotic discussion and planning, the eting of New Humans ca to an end.

The leaders of the New Human forces left the eting Room one after another, heading towards the direction of the large dining hall within the Guild Hall. The eting that had just concluded was rely the first of the day; two more were expected to continue in the afternoon and evening.

Not until every issue put forth and discussed by the attendees was completely resolved.

At the entrance of the grand Conference Hall, on the platform encircled by several white stone load-bearing pillars, a tall and thin silhouette slowly erged. He looked up at the bright sunshine and stretched out his hand to press down the brim of his black Top Hat. The area above Magician Ray’s nose bridge was covered in shadow, while the contour of his face below displayed no expression. He lifted his Footsteps and descended the Staircase.

However, at that mont, soone suddenly called out to him from behind.

“President of the ntalist Association, oh, sorry, may I call you Ray?”

Wearing gold-rimd glasses and draped in a white cloak, the leader of White Tower approached briskly, continuing to speak as he did so, “About the just-concluded eting, why didn’t President Ray say a word? The ntalist Association is also a major force within our New Humans’ circle, and it has played a pivotal role in our past cooperations. If President Ray could express the Association’s own demands and issues, the discussion in the eting would have been more active…”

He ca up beside Magician Ray, looking down at him askance. The position where the leader of White Tower stood was on the platform, whereas Ray had already stepped down one level of the Stairs. Thus, there was a height difference in their eye levels, with the leader of White Tower looking down, and Ray having to look up. It was unclear if this timing was deliberately chosen.

On the Stairs, Magician Ray kept walking without stopping, seeming to have no intent of engaging with the leader of White Tower. As he walked forward, he spoke.

“The ntalist Association has no demands or issues.”

“Similarly, there’s nothing worth discussing.”

“After all…”

The sumr insect cannot speak of ice.

Ray’s voice abruptly stopped at the end. His pace steady and asured, he walked towards the distance, leaving only a black silhouette for the leader of White Tower.

On the Platform, the always composed and perfect Mask of the leader of White Tower seed to crack slightly. His lips twitched faintly, and his narrowed eyes were deep.

“You refuse the face given to you? ntalist Association…”

“When Black Rain Villa resurrects and enters the New Era of the New Humans without a place for you, don’t bla

then…”

Far off, a hundred ters away.

Silver Spear Soro quietly watched this scene unfold, then turned and slowly left.

He always felt that the resurgence of Black Rain Villa wasn’t as simple as it appeared on the surface. Perhaps it wasn’t just undercurrents at play but an impending Tsunami that would sweep over everything. A sense of unease swelled in his heart.

As the orthodox New Human Forces ford an Alliance with White Tower at its helm, could they really control everything when Black Rain Villa resurrected? And what of those evil Forces lurking in the shadows and darkness, such as what the White Skull Organization was doing at the mont? Were they also scheming for the Villa’s resurgence?

Moreover, the new ntalist Association seed to be far more than just a simple change of leadership. Silver Spear Soro had felt that a pair of dark hands was manipulating the Association, slowly reaching out to the entire circle of New Humans. With this major upheaval, would the owner of those hands decide to step in and completely destroy the existing rules and order of the New Human circle? Multiple undercurrents overlapping would one day beco a Tsunami!

And Soro could feel that that day was very, very near…

At dusk, the third eting of the New Humans concluded.

As the major Forces exited, a secret shadow vanished from within the Guild Hall, blending seamlessly into the Street’s darkness.

Half an hour later, Anta City, on a huge Farm in the Suburbs.

Inside the Warehouse, which was originally used for storing fodder, a dim yellow light flickered.

“Ha, does White Tower really think it can control and integrate the major Forces of the New Humans? Wishful thinking! If White Tower truly could do so, then what are we, the White Skull Organization?” a tall man dressed in a black Combat uniform scoffed coldly. On his wrist, he wore a fierce-looking Skull Dial, with a similarly styled white clock Logo on the sleeve of his uniform.

As far as the eye could see, the rest of the personnel in the Warehouse were dressed the sa. This Farm was evidently a gathering place for the White Skull Organization.

“No need to be angry, Number Seven. Isn’t it better that White Tower is so proud and arrogant? A foolish and reckless Enemy is much easier to defeat than a cautious and rational adversary!” a woman with long black hair flowing over her shoulders said smoothly.

“Right, that new president of the ntalist Association must have attended this eting of the New Humans, right? I really want to butcher that bastard; he has been opposing us all this ti lately, so annoying…”

Another captain of the White Skull Organization spoke viciously.

“Be patient, Number Eight. Black Rain Villa will soon be resurrected. This ti, we will cooperate with Blood Sand Organization to confront the Alliance ford by White Tower Establishnt, with no Cohesion. When the two most powerful and ferocious Forces among the New Humans join hands, surely those who fancy themselves as orthodox will tremble with fear at the news! When we crush that so-called Alliance, the ntalist Association will also be at our rcy. Daring to covet our White Skull Organization, that new president of the ntalist Association sure has guts…”

Number Three captain spoke, the silver Dial on his wrist catching the Reflection of the light.

Suddenly, with a creak, the large door of the Warehouse was pushed open.
