The scene unfolded with a tense air as the reporter, her heels clicking sharply against the pavent, rushed forward with her caraman in tow.

The duo’s movents were hurried, their eyes focused on the enigmatic young man standing nearby.

His presence exuded an unusual authority despite his modest appearance.

The boy, introducing himself as Zora, looked barely nineteen, his youthful face frad by unruly hair and a deanor that carried a hint of defiance.

His black high school jacket fluttered lightly in the breeze as he stood there, his arms crossed over his chest.

The reporter wasted no ti. Microphone in hand, she stepped closer, her voice steady yet edged with curiosity. "Who are you? And how did you do that?"

Zora tilted his head slightly, his gaze eting hers with a calm intensity. "My na is Zora," he began, his voice carrying a firm resonance. "I’m just a high schooler. But before you ask further—listen carefully. What’s happening right now—the vampires, this so-called epidemic—it’s not a virus. There’s no pathogen behind it."

The reporter’s brow furrowed in confusion, and she raised an eyebrow. "What do you an? How can you say that with such confidence?"

Zora exhaled deeply, the weight of his knowledge evident in his expression.

"Because I’ve seen it. A month ago, an asteroid approached Earth. Most people didn’t notice it, couldn’t even see it. But for those of us who could—it changed everything. That asteroid wasn’t just a rock. It carried energy, energy that only a few of us could observe. And those who saw it... they were granted unique powers."

The words hung in the air, a heavy revelation that seed to montarily freeze the surrounding chaos. The reporter exchanged a stunned glance with her caraman before pressing on. "Unique powers? Are you saying there are others like you?"

Zora nodded. "Yes. We call ourselves Power Holders. Those who gained abilities from the asteroid’s energy. And to maintain order, we ford a group—’The Commission.’ There are four of us working together, ensuring balance. We make sure that neither the Power Holders nor ordinary humans gain too much dominance over the other."

The reporter’s curiosity flared, and she leaned forward, her voice sharper now. "Balance? You’re telling you’ve ford so sort of secret council? And what exactly do you an by balance?"

Zora’s eyes darkened slightly, his tone turning colder. "It ans we act as diators. Power must be controlled. If left unchecked, it could destroy everything—whether it’s in the hands of Power Holders or the governnt. Right now, my team is out there, terminating the vampires. Within a week, we’ll have eradicated 90% of their presence in this country."

The weight of his claim left the reporter visibly shaken. She adjusted her stance, her fingers tightening around the microphone. "Do you know where this epidemic started? Or who’s behind it?"

Zora’s deanor shifted, his expression growing grave. "I told you—it’s not an epidemic. It’s not a virus. The vampires are being controlled by a person. Soone with the power of a vampire lord."

The revelation sent a chill down the reporter’s spine, and for a mont, her professional composure wavered.

But she quickly gathered herself, pressing further. "If that’s true, then why isn’t the governnt doing anything about it? Are they even aware of these Power Holders?"

Zora let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head. "I’m not here to discuss politics. My job is to maintain balance. That’s why I’m here—to deliver a ssage to every hidden Power Holder. The Commission will ensure balance by any ans necessary. If anyone dares to misuse their powers, we’ll co for them."

With those parting words, Zora turned on his heel and disappeared into the night.

His departure was so swift it created a gust of wind that knocked the reporter and her caraman off balance.

The cara tilted wildly, capturing the last glimpse of Zora as he vanished into the shadows.

anwhile, in a quiet living room, Adam sat frozen in front of the television.

His parents, Ricky and Rachel, were seated nearby, their faces etched with worry as they watched the unfolding events.

Ricky broke the silence first, his voice tinged with frustration. "First vampires, and now this Commission? What’s happening to our world?"

Rachel placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, her tone soothing. "Dear, let’s not overthink it. Whatever happens, happens for a reason."

Adam’s gaze remained fixed on the screen, his mind racing. He could feel his parents eyes on him, their silent concern pressing down like a weight. Finally, he broke the silence, his voice laced with irritation. "Why are you both looking at like that?"

His parents exchanged a glance, their worry evident. Ricky spoke again, his tone softer now. "Adam, I know this is an unexpected turn of events for the world. But you need to stay calm."

Adam scoffed lightly, his confusion turning to frustration. "Really? A few minutes ago, you were the one panicking."

Before Ricky could respond, Adam stood abruptly. "I have things to do. I’ll be in my room."

The mont the door closed behind him, two familiar figures appeared—Sona and Toshiba.

Sona, her fiery determination evident, stepped forward. "Lord Adam, we’ve made a grave mistake. We underestimated how quickly our enemies are growing and forming alliances."

Adam sank to the floor, running a hand through his hair. "You’re right, Sona. It wasn’t just a mistake. It’s affected our lives more than I ever imagined. But I won’t let it happen again. If they’re growing stronger, so will I. I’ll make sure no threat stands against my loved ones."

Toshiba, standing silently by the door, finally spoke. "But Lord Adam, what do you think about The Commission?"

Adam’s expression darkened, his voice cold. "I don’t trust them. If their goal is truly balance, that’s fine. But no one’s motives are ever that simple. They’re playing a bigger ga."

Sona nodded, her eyes locked on Adam. "So, what will you do now, my lord?"

Adam stood, his resolve hardening. "I’ll explore my options. Let’s see what moves I can make."
