Chapter: The Diversion and Deploynt
---
The Chapter opens with Ninja standing motionless outside the Presidential House, his four arms crossed over his chest in a display of composure and intimidation.
Around him, a sea of soldiers remained tense, their weapons locked and aid.
The air was charged with anticipation, as the slightest movent from Ninja could trigger an attack.
Despite the palpable tension, Ninja stood still, a silent sentinel. His calm deanor only heightened the unease among the soldiers.
The sound of heavy boots breaking the silence signaled Logan’s arrival.
Logan leapt into view, landing just ters away from Ninja, his energy radiating with the excitent of a challenge.
"I didn’t think you’d be this desperate for a rematch," Logan sneered. His sharp grin hinted at the thrill coursing through him. "Challenging here, at the President’s doorstep? You’ve got guts."
Ninja didn’t respond imdiately. His mind was focused on Adam’s instructions, and he knew this battle was not about victory.
Slowly, he lowered two of his arms and drew both his swords. The polished blades caught the sunlight, gleaming ominously as he said, "Enough talk. Let’s fight."
Without waiting for Logan’s reply, Ninja surged forward, his twin swords poised for attack.
Logan’s grin widened as he unsheathed his own blade, eting Ninja’s charge with equal enthusiasm. Their swords clashed with a deafening screech of tal against tal, the sheer force of their blows causing shockwaves to ripple through the ground.
As sparks flew from their blades, Logan’s excitent was palpable. "Good, good! I hate talking anyway!" he shouted, his laughter echoing in the tense air.
Ninja didn’t answer, his strikes precise and calculated. But even as he fought, his mind was partially attuned to the telepathic updates from Mikasa. "Sona and Tayo have successfully completed the first mission. Diversion ti."
Hearing this, Ninja made a split-second decision. His next strike wasn’t aid at Logan but slightly to the side. With a swift twist of his swords, he unleashed a white energy slash, sending it hurtling toward the soldiers standing behind Logan.
Logan saw the attack coming and dodged it effortlessly, but the soldiers weren’t as lucky. The slash wasn’t fatal, but it was enough to send them scattering for cover. The energy collided with a nearby wall, creating a loud explosion of dust and debris.
The impact sent shockwaves through the area. Smoke filled the air, obscuring visibility, and the previously steady formation of soldiers dissolved into chaos. Logan glanced over his shoulder, his amusent replaced by frustration. "Is that your plan? Cause a ss? Fine. Let’s see what you’ve got!"
Ninja, unfazed by Logan’s taunts, leapt into the air. Spinning mid-flight, he unleashed a barrage of similar energy slashes, each one directed at different areas around the Presidential House.
So slashes struck the ground, kicking up massive clouds of dust. Others crashed into walls, sending chunks of debris flying in every direction. Soldiers scrambled for cover, their ranks breaking apart as confusion spread. Even the well-trained snipers on nearby rooftops montarily lost their targets in the chaos.
Not far from the Presidential House, Sona and Tayo teleported into a cluster of dense trees lining the periter. Tayo held a small black box with a single red button at its center. The box seed ordinary, but its purpose was far from simple.
Sona turned to Tayo, her wings fluttering as she surveyed the surroundings. "I’ll handle delivering this. Wait here."
Without waiting for a reply, Sona teleported, reappearing monts later in Pratham’s miniature factory. She placed the stolen crate containing the detection devices in front of a glowing computer screen where Pratham’s avatar awaited.
"It’s here," she said simply, vanishing again before Pratham could respond.
Back beside Tayo, Sona landed lightly and looked toward the battlefield where Ninja and Logan were locked in combat. "We need to move the next phase forward as soon as Ninja creates a bigger diversion," she said, her voice steady despite the pressure.
In the heat of battle, Mikasa’s telepathic voice cut through Ninja’s focus. "Ninja, the first phase is complete. Sona and Tayo are in position. Create a stronger diversion."
Ninja smirked beneath his mask. With a powerful leap, he launched himself high into the air, spinning his swords to generate a glowing arc of white energy. The slash shot toward Logan but was deliberately aid slightly wide, ensuring it would miss.
Logan dodged again, his frustration mounting. The slash struck the Presidential House gardens, creating another explosion of dust and sending guards fleeing in every direction.
"Enough of this! Fight properly!" Logan roared, charging at Ninja with renewed ferocity.
But Ninja didn’t engage directly. Instead, he continued launching energy slashes in all directions, intentionally causing destruction without inflicting harm. The once-pristine grounds of the Presidential House were now a chaotic ss of smoke, rubble, and fleeing personnel.
"Is this enough, or should I create more chaos?" Ninja asked telepathically, his voice calm despite the turmoil he was causing.
"That’s enough," Mikasa replied. "Sona and Tayo, proceed to the next phase."
Sona and Tayo teleported directly into a lavish, empty room within the Presidential House. The spacious room was adorned with fine furniture, a red velvet tablecloth draped over a central table, and an elegant flower vase serving as the centerpiece.
Tayo placed the small black box on the table. Sona pressed the red button, and the box opened with a series of quiet clicks. From inside, dozens of robotic ants erged, their bodies gleaming black and red.
Pratham’s voice filled their minds. "Good. I’ll guide the ants to their designated positions. Your job is to protect them until they’re in place."
"Understood," Sona and Tayo replied in unison.
The ants ford neat lines, marching out of the room and toward their assigned locations. Sona and Tayo followed closely, their wings poised to take action at the slightest sign of danger.
The corridors of the Presidential House were eerily silent as Sona and Tayo moved through them, shadowing the robotic ants. They kept to the shadows, avoiding the more heavily trafficked areas to minimize the risk of detection.
Sona glanced at Tayo. "Do you think there’s a power holder here?"
Tayo shook her head. "If there is, we’ll handle it. We can’t let anything jeopardize Adam’s plan."
They pressed on, their senses heightened for any sign of danger. Every creak of the floorboards, every distant footstep put them on edge. Yet they knew they couldn’t afford to falter.
The ants, guided by Pratham’s precise instructions, reached key positions throughout the building, each one embedding itself discreetly in a corner or crevice.
As Sona and Tayo ensured the ants’ safe deploynt, the tension in the air was palpable. They knew the stakes of this mission. Failure wasn’t an option.
From the Internet Dinsion, Pratham’s voice reassured them. "You’re doing well. Just a few more positions to secure. Stay alert."
Nodding silently, Sona and Tayo continued their escort, their focus unwavering. Despite the looming risks, they were determined to see the mission through.
The Chapter ends here.
