Sona’s wings fluttered with urgency as she sped through the halls of the cultural center, her heart pounding in her chest.
The revelation that Ani and Yuki had been captured weighed heavily on her mind.
Every instinct told her to leave imdiately before she, too, was discovered.
She darted out of the building, erging into the open air. The sight that greeted her was eerily unusual.
The once-bustling city, filled with floating machinery and aerial operations, had co to a sudden halt.
The air was thick with tension, an unspoken sense of ergency enveloping everything. It was as though the entire city had been placed under a lockdown.
Hovering in place, Sona scanned her surroundings with narrowed eyes, trying to make sense of the strange stillness.
Her thoughts flickered back to Yuki’s words during their eting in the hideout. She had ntioned that the ruler of this city resided in a central tower.
Sona’s gaze instinctively shifted toward the massive structure at the heart of the city. The tower was impossible to miss—a gleaming, cylindrical monolith that stretched into the sky.
Its surface was entirely covered in reflective glass, obscuring any view of its interior.
From the outside, it shimred in a deep, srizing shade of blue, exuding an aura of authority and secrecy.
"That must be it," Sona thought, her determination hardening.
She closed her eyes, her wings settling montarily as she focused her senses. The world around her faded into a hazy blur as she concentrated, feeling for the auras within the tower.
A surge of energy washed over her as she pinpointed several distinct presences inside. They were clustered high up within the tower, their energies radiating with intensity.
Among them, one stood out—Ani. She was standing motionless in the center of the room, surrounded by others whose auras felt oppressive and cold.
Sona’s eyes snapped open. There was no ti to hesitate. She spread her wings wide and shot toward the tower with incredible speed, the wind rushing past her as she closed the distance.
As Sona approached the tower, its sheer size lood over her. The reflective glass exterior shimred under the artificial light of the city, giving it an almost otherworldly appearance.
She slowed down just enough to steady herself before extending her hands in front of her.
A faint glow began to emanate from her palms, growing brighter with each passing second. The energy coursed through her, radiating outward until her entire body was enveloped in a soft, golden light.
With a sudden, focused burst, Sona released the energy toward the tower. The glass surface directly in front of her shuddered violently before shattering into countless fragnts. The sound was deafening, a cacophony of breaking glass that echoed across the city.
Without missing a beat, Sona darted through the opening she had created, her small fra slipping easily through the jagged edges. The glow around her hands faded as she landed lightly on the tower’s interior floor.
anwhile, far away in his throne room, UV1 sat rigidly on his seat, his blue eyes glowing faintly under the bright light. His expression was one of quiet intensity as he waited for Colin to return.
But then, sothing shifted.
UV1’s head tilted slightly, his sharp senses picking up on a distant disturbance. A sly smile curved his lips as he turned his attention to Ani, who stood motionless in the center of the room, her expression unreadable.
"So, it begins," UV1 muttered under his breath, his voice dripping with amusent.
Before Ani could react, a thunderous noise reverberated through the chamber. The massive doors at the far end of the hall were blown open, shards of tal scattering across the floor. A gust of wind swept through the room, and in its wake ca a tiny figure—Sona.
The sudden intrusion left the gathered individuals stunned. They stared at the doorway, trying to comprehend what had just happened.
However, none of them noticed the small, winged figure zipping through the air toward the center of the room.
Sona’s size worked to her advantage. Barely the size of a clenched fist, she moved too quickly for the untrained eye to follow. Her speed created a faint blur, making her almost invisible to the human-sized occupants of the room.
Ani, however, spotted her imdiately. Her eyes widened in shock and disbelief as she realized what was happening.
"Sona," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
The sight of her ally coming to her rescue filled Ani with a mix of relief and astonishnt. She had not expected Sona to take such a bold risk, especially not in a place as fortified as this.
Sona, for her part, remained focused. She darted toward Ani, her wings shimring with determination. There was no room for hesitation. Ani needed her, and she would stop at nothing to ensure her safety.
Sona hovered in the air, her erald wings glinting faintly under the bright light of the grand hall.
Her focus was unwavering, her sharp gaze locked onto the imposing figure seated at the far end.
UV1, dressed in an ominous combination of black and gold, sat on a towering throne.
His calm deanor radiated a chilling authority, the golden streaks on his suit gleaming like threads of power.
All around him, the hall was in chaos. The once-seated individuals, who had been silently observing monts before, now stood abruptly.
Their eyes darted toward Sona, tension thick in their movents. From the periphery of the room, heavily ard soldiers stread in, their weapons raised and aid directly at the tiny intruder.
Sona ignored the clamor around her. Her attention remained fixed on UV1.
Despite the overwhelming threat posed by his soldiers and his own mysterious aura,
UV1 seed unfazed. He neither showed fear nor surprise at her arrival. Instead, he watched her with a peculiar calmness, a faint smirk teasing the corners of his lips.
UV1 broke the silence, his voice smooth and unsettlingly composed.
"Lucky ," he said, his smile widening. "I finally get to et a mber of the Creator’s second species. My father always said you might surpass even them in power."
The words sent a jolt of anger through Sona. Her green eyes flared with defiance as she retorted sharply, "I don’t know what you’re talking about or how you know about . But one thing I can tell you—your end is near!"
UV1 chuckled softly at her bold declaration. Rising slowly from his throne, he exuded an air of absolute confidence.
His movents were deliberate, calculated, as though he was the one deciding the flow of this confrontation.
"Whose ti has co to an end? That’s sothing only I will decide," he said with chilling finality.
With that, UV1 extended his hand, palm facing forward. An invisible force rippled through the air, spreading outward with imnse intensity.
The floor beneath the hall quaked as tallic clinks echoed through the chamber. Tiles began to crack open, revealing hidden compartnts beneath.
Dozens of tallic spheres, sleek and nacing, shot up from the floor and hovered midair, shimring with latent energy.
The orbs pulsed ominously, as though waiting for a command. In an instant, they launched forward, hurtling toward Sona and Ani with incredible speed.
Sona wasted no ti. Stretching out both her arms, she activated her telekinesis skill, her hands glowing with a faint but resolute energy. The incoming tallic balls screeched to a halt mid-flight, frozen in place by her sheer willpower.
The tension in the air thickened. UV1’s smirk faltered for the briefest mont, his expression flickering with surprise. He studied Sona intently, as if recalibrating his estimation of her abilities.
"I’ve spent years fighting these weaklings," UV1 said with a low chuckle, gesturing dismissively at the soldiers around him. "But today, it seems I face a true challenge. How could I possibly underestimate the Creator’s second creation?"
As if on cue, the soldiers in the room, who had been waiting for UV1’s orders, opened fire. Laser light tore through the air, their deadly paths aid squarely at Sona.
Sona’s sharp instincts kicked in. Her gaze snapped toward the soldiers, and without hesitation, she extended her other hand in their direction.
This hand glowed a brilliant white, radiating with an intense energy that filled the room.
The the laser light miss Sona from little distance, suspended for a mont, before a massive invisible force struck the soldiers.
They were lifted off their feet and hurled violently out of the hall, crashing into the corridors beyond.
The resounding thuds of their bodies hitting the walls echoed ominously, marking the devastating impact of Sona’s telekinetic attack.
UV1’s eyes narrowed slightly, his intrigue deepening. Sona’s display of power was unlike anything he had encountered.
Hovering in the center of the hall, Sona’s resolute stance and glowing hands painted a striking picture of defiance.
Her telekinetic mastery had turned the tide of the confrontation, and the once-overwhelming threat of UV1’s forces was now reduced to rubble.
The Chapter ends here, with UV1 observing Sona’s strength and the tension in the room reaching its peak.
