Jin Ye’s words did not cause any visible change in the Red General’s expression, she rely responded indifferently, "Initially, we were just joining in on the excitent, but we never thought the commotion this ti would be so grand. Administrator Jin Ye, you’ve really surprised us. Since you like guessing so much, let’s have a guess, I presu you’ve never thought of dissolving the rcenary Guild, have you?"

"I guess..." The Red General’s eyes twinkled with mockery. Though her features were rather ordinary, nowhere close to stunning, she wasn’t anywhere near ugly either. It was the type of face that grew on you—the kind that when adorned in red, acquired a peculiar charm.

The Red General was cut off just as she had not yet finished her provocative words, by a sharp rebuke from Jin Ye.
At that mont, Jin Ye’s face darkened like still water. Upon hearing the Red General utter ’Golden Darkness’, he felt a chill rush to the top of his head, filled with bold and enlarged question marks. How could the Red General know what cos after ’rcenary Guild’?
While others might not understand ’Golden Darkness’, Jin Ye knew it very well. Once the Peace Party was overthrown, the rcenary Guild would be renad to ’Golden Darkness’. This plan, he had only shared with two people: one was Lv Jinyu, and the other was one of his trusted subordinates.
Could soone have told City of Bright Moon? But how could that be possible?
Lv Jinyu had only been approached by him the day before yesterday, while the other trusted subordinate had been with him for a long ti, tracing back to a month after the post-apocalyptic outbreak, when the morals of human civilization were barely clinging to life, and there weren’t yet many Survivor Forces.
If soone had betrayed him, Lv Jinyu would be one thing, but if it were that trusted subordinate, it would be truly horrifying!
"What’s the matter, Administrator Jin Ye? Can’t stand to hear it? Have you never considered what consequences your actions might bring?"
Jin Ye’s face contorted into sothing fierce, but his expression quickly turned calm, as he sneered and said, "Consequences? The result of doing this is that I will beco the lord of the United District. I do not care how the City of Bright Moon found out, it doesn’t matter anymore. Red General, with your brimming confidence and fearlessness, you do not think I am afraid of you or the people from the City of Bright Moon, do you?"
Jin Ye’s words were pregnant with significance, causing the Red General’s eyes to narrow slightly.
At that mont, Lv Jinyu spoke up, "Truly ignorant of what’s good for them. The City of Bright Moon, with rely two Level 6 New Humans, really thinks it’s still the past? All of you, get her. Kill her!"
Pointing at the Red General, Lv Jinyu commanded sinisterly. As his voice fell, several strong n from the rcenary Guild exchanged glances, and then several Level 5 New Humans wielding swords charged at her, their blades gleaming coldly, a murderous aura piercing the sky!
"Hmph, overestimating yourselves."
Facing the assault of several Level 5 New Humans, the Red General wasn’t the least bit concerned. With her robes billowing, she watched undisturbed as the first Level 5 New Human Stronghouse drew closer and closer. When he was only five or six ters away, a flash of killing intent swept across her eyes, and she swung her long blade high in the air!

As the Red General bellowed, the first strongman to approach her froze mid-step, quickly retreating until he was more than ten ters away from her before stopping.
He stood erect for a mont, but soon his body softened, and his weapon plunged into the ground, as he half-knelt. The next second, his Predator Exoskeleton Battle Suit shattered with a ’crack’, revealing a ghastly wound on his body!
"What! Impossible!" This scene caused an uproar among everyone present.
Jin Ye and Lv Jinyu on the RV’s balcony both frowned simultaneously, exchanging a look that conveyed the sa thought: "The technology of the City of Bright Moon has far surpassed that of the United District."
Although they were unclear about the current level of the City of Bright Moon’s technology, the re fact that they had managed to create a lee weapon capable of slicing through the Predator Exoskeleton Battle Suit ant that the enemies of the City of Tomorrow would stand defenseless against it.
Jin Ye quietly observed Lv Jinyu and noticed the corner of his eye twitching incessantly, betraying his astonishnt.

The Red General responded with a laugh, showing no signs of despair. Jin Ye looked at her group, seven New Humans, including four familiar faces from the higher echelons of Shanhe. The remaining three seed like strangers, likely reinforcents from the City of Bright Moon.
Jin Ye snorted coldly, highly disapproving of her nonchalant deanor. "Isn’t the Red General aware of the current situation?" he said icily. "While you wield a fine weapon, you rely managed to take down so minions. Believe it or not, it would take just one second to kill you and leave you without a corpse!"
The Red General felt an oppressive aura weighing down on her head, making it difficult to breathe. Truth be told, she was nervous; equating Level 4 and 5 New Human Stronghouses to re minions might be an overstatent, but against Level 6 New Humans, it was indeed the case.
A Level 6 New Human battling Level 5 New Humans was like an adult striking a child who had not yet reached their first birthday!
Though nervous inside, the devilish training in the City of Bright Moon had helped her perfectly control her facial expression, maintaining a smile while the red suit she wore added an air of valor to her presence.
"I have full confidence, and as a clever man, the servant of Jin Ye should guess where my confidence stems from. But, to my surprise, it’s one thing for old Lv to be foolish, but for the servant of Jin Ye to be so as well..."
Upon hearing this, Jin Ye’s brows furrowed tightly; indeed, why wasn’t a Level 5 New Human nervous facing two Level 6 New Humans? Confidence must be backed by sothing substantial—but what could that be?
Jin Ye’s gaze swept back and forth over the blade in the Red General’s hand, finally speaking with a probing tone, "You don’t actually think that thing can stop , do you?"
