The beast roared angrily at the few Level 5 New Humans approaching it, then turned its head to survey its surroundings. Through this observation, the beast identified a problem.

Since its appearance, it had killed no more than a handful of warriors, and it seed that none of these individuals had been wearing the Black Exoskeleton Battle Armor.

Those dressed in the Black Exoskeleton Battle Armor had all suffered injuries inflicted by it, with the gravest injury belonging to that talkative rcenary Guild Warrior, who had already completely lost his ability to fight.

The beast itself, from the start of the battle until now, was covered with wounds all over its body, even its head had sustained extensive damage, exposing so of the inner spaces of its skull. If it were an ordinary zombie, injuries like these would have been fatal long ago.

But it hadn’t died, and what differentiated it most from ordinary zombies was that even if its head exploded, a Silver Armored Zombie wouldn’t die, and to kill it, one would have to kill it several tis more! Only when its vitality was completely drained would it truly die!

Of course, Tang Ye had also conducted experints, and found that if the Silver Armored Zombies were blown to bits in an instant without each cell in their bodies having its own consciousness, they could not regenerate.

As for the severe injuries on the beast’s head, those warriors didn’t find it odd. It wasn’t because they knew that was a characteristic of Silver Armored Zombies, but because the beast’s body was massive. Even if so warrior’s weapon penetrated its brain, they would subconsciously assu they hadn’t damaged its brain tissue.

Yet, such results were far from satisfying for itself. The Black Exoskeleton Battle Armor they wore was peculiarly strong, effectively granting these warriors several extra lives. With the strength of a Level 5 zombie, it was simply not possible to kill them!

Moreover, these were a group of Level 4 New Humans, already not on the sa level in terms of combat strength. Now that Level 5 New Humans had appeared, with their Black Exoskeleton Battle Armor, it was destined to be the beast that would die in the end!

With this realization, the bloodthirsty killing intent in the beast’s eyes suddenly vanished without a trace. It took a few steps backward before turning around and running!

"It’s trying to escape, chase it!"

"Zombies running away? Damn, it’s an intelligent zombie. Kill it; don’t let it escape!"

As the beast bolted, the strong ones were montarily stunned but quickly caught up in pursuit.

As it ran, the beast glanced back at them, its mouth slightly open. From this angle, it appeared to be sneering, a very human-like sneer. Soon, all the pores on its body opened up, releasing streams of fine black threads.

Although thin, the threads quickly amassed into a sizable cloud of black and yellow mist tinged with scarlet, engulfing the strong ones behind it.

The warriors, on encountering this black mist, couldn’t figure out what it was. Out of caution and to preserve their lives, they stopped in their tracks.

"What is this stuff?"

One of them voiced their confusion, but it was quickly addressed by another.

"Look quick, the black mist is corrosive!"

Upon hearing this, everyone checked their bodies. Although they wore the Predator Exoskeleton Battle Suits and felt no physical discomfort, the rcenary Guild logo painted on the suits began rapidly bubbling into foam and then dissolving, while the surface of the suits started to exude pungent droplets with a heavy industrial scent.

Aside from these issues, there were no other abnormalities on the surface of the suits, which allowed the warriors a sigh of relief.

"It’s fine, keep chasing!"

As one of the warriors took the lead, the rest continued to chase after the fleeing beast.

Countless lasers chased behind, but the giant beast calmly released a black fog while gradually running towards the defense line ford by the Peace Party. Although the black fog was corrosive, it seed to have little effect on the Black Exoskeleton Battle Armor worn by the warriors. At this mont, the fog only served to obstruct their vision.

"Chase!"

"You beast, if you’re so tough, stop running!"

The warriors behind shouted, but unwittingly, they found themselves getting farther from the beast. Even their own Level 5 New Humans couldn’t keep up; they were just slightly ahead.

"Damn!"

The warriors, watching the beast’s running posture, couldn’t help saying, "Was this thing a rat before the Apocalypse?"

"It does look a bit like one."

"Keep chasing; the Peace Party’s defense area is ahead anyway. We have to go there sooner or later."

The warriors continued to push forward, but soon they saw the defense line ford by countless soldiers of the Peace Party. The soldiers activated an electric wall and astonishingly allowed the Level 5 zombie beast to enter.

Within the defense, several chas with a cold tallic feel stared at the warriors with glowing eyes, while nurous soldiers installed neural connection components below them.

"We can’t catch up, get ready, warriors!"

The warriors imdiately prepared for combat. Soon, thousands of corrosion dispersers from the Peace Party’s defense line ascended and then densely fell towards them.

The red lights in the eyes of a hundred Steel Bone chas glared more intensely, sending a foreboding chill straight to the sky!

The battle was about to erupt!

anwhile, the Level 5 zombie beast had run to the warehouse it erged from and dived into the ruins, bringing everything back to calm.

At the sa ti, in the Peace Party Building on the sixth floor, Tang Ye opened his eyes.

His eyes flashed with a chilling intent, as he vividly recalled the Black Exoskeleton Battle Armor worn by those rcenary Guild Warriors. The image of the armor was etched firmly in his mind.

"So these are your rely-ons? Seems like I will have to handle you myself!"

Tang Ye snorted coldly, his eyes shimring even colder.

The Level 5 zombie beast was actually controlled by Tang Ye’s consciousness, engaging the warriors in a battle where the extraordinary hardness of the Black Exoskeleton Battle Armor worn by the rcenary Guild Warriors was evident. A full-force blow from the beast only deford the armor. Had it been any other exoskeleton, that sa blow would have pierced right through.

Tang Ye raised his hand, clenched and unclenched it, rembering the feedback he felt when he hit that person with the Black Exoskeleton Battle Armor with the beast’s claw.

The more he thought, the deeper Tang Ye’s frown beca, unaffected by the constant gunfire outside.

After a while, he finally spoke slowly, murmuring, "What kind of armor is this?"
