Over a hundred strong climbers ascended the rock, each person’s power capable of compressing air into violent storms, striking repeatedly upon the zombie behemoth. In no ti, the spiky bones atop the beast’s head were shattered beyond recognition, and its silver skin, absolutely hard, showed varying degrees of damage. But it didn’t feel pain—it only wanted to obliterate that foul-mouthed bastard!

In the tug-of-war by the powerful fighters, its direction kept shifting, but why are zombies so abnormally tough and troubleso to deal with? Much of it is because of their various non-human abilities.

Zombies are composed of purely anti-life substances, which makes them inherently stronger than New Humans who have only absorbed and been enhanced by the anti-life substances. And given the chasm of the level difference, even when pulled by several Level 4 New Humans, it did not deviate much from its course.

Roar!

With a fierce roar, its sturdy limbs, thick as large tree logs, began moving, and it actually managed to drag along dozens of Level 4 New Human Stronghouses forward!

Raising its forelimb high, it aid for the Level 4 Powerhouse in front, who was desperately trying to put distance between them and swung down viciously!

"Quick, hold it down."

The fighters above yelled, but no one knew what to do; it was just about saving one person. They couldn’t possibly pull the man out from under the behemoth and risk their own lives, could they?

"What do we do?"

"F*ck!"

Seeing the behemoth’s forelimb falling faster and faster, many fighters involuntarily relaxed, giving up the struggle after realizing the outco was inevitable.

If the result was already dood, then why bother?

This thought wasn’t unique; most had given up on the life of that man.

If he was dead, he was dead; after all, it wasn’t themselves dying.

In the behemoth’s eyes, however, it saw the targeted fighter stop running and instead stand still, turning to face it. As he was wearing a Predator Exoskeleton Battle Suit, his expression was unclear behind the gleaming visor.

Just a second before the massive forelimb hit, the rcenary Guild Warrior flipped the beast the middle finger, completely enraging the behemoth, making its forelimb descend even faster.

The opponent, it seed, could read the death sentence spelled out in the behemoth’s crimson eyes.

That word was death!

However, he wasn’t afraid. His visor conveyed a cold, indifferent gaze at the creature.

"Sigh, it’s over for him."

Stronghouses elsewhere on the behemoth’s body sighed, nurous Level 4 Powerhouses from various underground factions shared looks of pity, yet they didn’t see that the rcenary Guild Warrior wasn’t worried at all; on the contrary, he appeared contemplative and even a tad curious.

Today, we bet whether he will die or not!

Finally, under the watchful eyes of the strong climbers, the behemoth’s forelimb brutally stomped down!

Boom!

A massive explosion pierced the sky, and the dust rose tens of ters high. The buildings nearby were shaken to the ground by the powerful aftermath, instantly turning into a pile of unspeakable ruins.

However, in the midst of this loud noise, those with sensitive ears among the Powerhouses faintly heard the sound of steel colliding.

When the giant beast’s forelimb hit the ground, so much dirt and dust were thrown up that it almost blocked most people’s view, and few could see the state of the person being trampled.

"He...is dead."

"What else could it be, he must be dead—a full-force strike from a Level 5 zombie, the exoskeleton suit couldn’t protect him, he’s thoroughly dead."

So Powerhouses conversed in hushed tones, seemingly mocking, but there was a hint of sorrow in their voice—they didn’t know if one day they might end up in the sa situation.

However, at the scene, those Powerhouses belonging to the rcenary Guild remained silent, intensely focusing their gaze on the spot where the beast’s forelimb had trampled.

After what seed like ages, a voice, arrogant and contemptuous, broke out into laughter. It started softly but grew louder—to surprise, disbelief, the deep sigh of having narrowly escaped death, and the madness knowing that the opponent couldn’t do anything to them.

"Hehe, hehehaha, hahahaha~hehehahaha! Hahahahaha!"

The sudden laughter made everyone at the scene’s hearts tighten.

"This...he’s not dead? How is that possible?" Everyone found it unbelievable.

At the site of the trampling, as the airborne dust settled over ti and the air cleared, people could finally see the full extent of the devastation under the beast’s forelimb—and it was a ss.

Countless cracks lined the ground, but beneath the giant beast’s forelimb, a man lifted both his arms, fiercely supporting the force transmitted from the zombie beast’s body—that man was the Powerhouse being hunted by the giant beast!

His body had been driven so deep into the cent by the beast’s force that only his two arms were visible, as if he were actually lifting the limb of the giant beast!

"How...how is this possible? It’s a Level 5 zombie, but he’s only a Level 4 New Human—how could he not be dead?"

Those powerhouses from the underground forces were full of disbelief, until finally, soone perceptive noticed the crux of the matter and turned their attention to the black Predator Exoskeleton Battle Suits worn by the rcenary Guild Warriors.

"Your exoskeleton suits, where did you get your exoskeleton suits?"

For a mont, countless underground forces’ Powerhouses questioned the rcenary Guild Warriors, though their tone sounded more like an interrogation.

Yet no one responded to them, each rcenary Guild Warrior’s face bore an indescribable excitent!

Quickly, one of the warriors raised his weapon high and roared at the zombie behemoth, "Brothers, attack, it’s all true, it can’t harm us!"

Following one person’s call, all the rcenary Guild Warriors roared in unison. A killing aura surged from each figure, cold light darted through the air, and seventy-nine Level 4 New Human Stronghouses from the rcenary Guild charged fearlessly at the giant beast.

Their faces were no longer filled with previous hesitation because soone had proven sothing with their life—that their Predator Exoskeleton Battle Suits granted them the ability not to die in the face of a Level 5 zombie!

At that mont, it seed the roles had been reversed, the zombie behemoth was no longer the zombie, but had beco what was analogous to a Level 5 "alien evolved New Human" besieged by countless Level 4 zombies!

As for the beast, it too was puzzled; logically, its power should have crushed the person just now into mush with a single blow, but in the end...things were different from what it expected.
