"What?" Tang Ye asked again, as if he hadn’t heard the first ti, yet the expression on his face clearly wasn’t that of soone who had failed to hear. He was obviously toying with Dura!

And Dura, the woman herself, saw through it, feeling a surge of anger in her heart. However, she quickly rembered that the man sitting in front of her was a Level 6 New Human Stronghouse. Provoking him would be foolish; even if her two bodyguards were to produce ten more of themselves, they wouldn’t be enough to fight him!

Moreover, even if she died, Jiuge wouldn’t go to an all-out war with the United District over just one person. The current United District was no longer under the rule of the seven committee mbers but a dictator. All decisions, the consolidation of all power, lay in the hands of the man right before her eyes!

No matter how precious her identity might be to Jiuge, it was never enough to make a superpower risk huge losses by starting a war with another just for her sake.

No matter how she thought about it, it just wasn’t worth it, especially since it involved playing with her own life. Who would be willing to do that?

Therefore, Dura forcibly suppressed her anger and repeated her previous words, carefully articulating each one.

"Oh, is that so? Huh? How was it allocated before?"

Tang Ye asked, but Dura didn’t answer, and Tang Ye hadn’t expected her to. He turned and shouted out, "Soone co in!"

The next second, a few soldiers walked in.

"Marshal, what can I do for you?"

"Go get the ceasefire agreent that was signed by the seven committee mbers."

"Yes, sir!"

The soldiers left and soon returned, handing over a docunt to Tang Ye with due respect.

"Marshal, the ceasefire agreent is here."

"Alright, you can go now."

Tang Ye waved the soldiers off, then opened the docunt and took out the three contracts inside. The content was nothing more than flattering words, such as how the ongoing struggle between the two parties was aningless and only brought about losses. Then sothing about considering this and that, basically, that fighting caused unbearable losses, so they would cease fighting.

The rest of the docunt dealt with the allocation of mine resources after the ceasefire. However, since the ceasefire proposal ca from the United District, most of the benefits detailed in the allocation regulations were in favor of Jiuge, with the United District getting the shorter end of the stick.

It seed that the 709 Large Mine was located within China’s territory, and after the Apocalypse, countries no longer existed. The original seven committee mbers couldn’t be bothered with these matters.

Jiuge’s rulers only had two people, so it was no difficulty for them to unify direction, while the United District had seven rulers. The relations between seven committee mbers were complicated enough, let alone those below them.

Among the seven committee mbers, there were always a few with lower strength, and in the war with Jiuge, it was obvious that Jiuge handled matters more efficiently than the United District.

Although the seven committee mbers seed united, people are inherently selfish. No one would be happy to share the pleasure of power with others. The less competition there was, the more power one could hold.

So behind the scenes, each of the seven committee mbers wished nothing more fervently than to see the others dead!

But taking down a committee mber was not sothing that could be done overnight. It required long-term planning, and with too many decision-makers, they couldn’t agree on a strategy. In the war with Jiuge, everyone was reluctant and cut corners, hoping others would send their troops.

Why? Among the seven committee mbers, especially those already weaker, any reduction in their strength would create opportunities for others to take them down.

In such a situation, who would dare to commit fully?

Therefore, terms that were highly unfavorable to the United District appeared in the ceasefire agreent.

Just by looking at the contract, five-sevenths of the 709 Mine area belonged to Jiuge, while only the remaining territory was for the United District.

It was ridiculous that land forrly belonging to China before the Apocalypse had ended up in the hands of a bunch of drug traffickers.

But now the United District was no longer the collaborative body it once was; now, Tang Ye was its dictator! Just as Xu Haishui had said, all of his will determined everything in the United District!

"Marshal, do you... have anything to say?" Dura asked hesitantly, but still cautiously.

Tang Ye placed the ceasefire agreent back on the table, looked at Dura, and said, "You’re from the Funan nation, right?"

"Hmm," Dura nodded, bewildered. She couldn’t fathom why Tang Ye would ask such a question.

"Your country really is poor, huh? Not even a single mine to claim. If I’m not mistaken, the 709 Mine belongs to China, doesn’t it? You foreigners occupy such a vast land; who gave you the audacity?"

Dura’s expression changed progressively as Tang Ye spoke, becoming serious.

"Marshal, what are you implying?"

Tang Ye smiled. "Exactly what it sounds like. The ceasefire agreent can take effect, and we can continue to live in peace, but I will not accept the terms written on it."

"Then what do you suggest, Marshal?" Dura breathed a sigh of relief. With a dictator like Li Henian erging as the master of the United District, she had never expected him to accept the terms of the ceasefire agreent. Changes were inevitable, but they were also within the limits that Jiuge could accept.

"My intentions are simple. From the beginning, the 709 Mine belonged to the United District. Even though the master has changed, the mine belongs to the United District; that’s a fact, and so is its belonging to China. You are just outsiders with no right to claim that place. The mine, I want it all!"

"Isn’t that a bit excessive, Marshal?" Dura’s newly settled heart felt as if it had been doused with cold water, chilling her through.

"Excessive? How am I being excessive? Aren’t I stating facts? You’re just a bunch of foreigners!"

"Marshal..."

Dura was about to speak when Tang Ye cut her off. "And another thing, don’t think of as one of the seven committee mbers. I’m not them. Say it again: the mine, I want it all! And the whole South China region, here, the mine is mine, the wasteland is mine. Even the zombies are mine! Take your Jiuge people and get the hell out. Get lost, go back to where you ca from!"

"Marshal Li! This is too much!"

Dura suddenly stood up, her face cold as she looked at Tang Ye.

However, her words only provoked Tang Ye into a burst of laughter.

"Hahaha hehehe~ Too much? Did you seriously just tell I’m too much? Let tell you, I’m well aware of all the dirty tricks your Jiuge has been playing in secret. Want to spell them out? I want the entire mine, it was always mine. Whether you accept it or not is irrelevant. If you accept, we live in peace, if not, I just slaughtered all those rebellious forces a while ago, and I don’t recomnd making do the sa to you drug traffickers!"
