Tang Ye pondered Zhang Kaijie’s words for a mont, then asked, "By the way, who was on the other end of the phone just now?"
"The undercover guy you an?"

Speaking of beauty, Zhang Kaijie couldn’t help but glance at Gong Xiao, a look of admiration flashing in his eyes.
He never believed in love at first sight, but he did now, realizing that a girl of exceptional beauty could indeed push dopamine levels to their limit!
Tang Ye frowned, looking at Gong Xiao and said, "Hide this guy’s body in the bedroom."
"Zhang Kaijie, where did you use to have etings?"
"etings within Jinhai?"

Zhang Kaijie walked over to Tang Ye without giving it a second thought, but little did he know that Gong Xiao had sohow appeared behind him. Before he could react, a cold hand was already gripping his neck!

His feet left the ground, eyes widened in fear looking at Tang Ye, who remained expressionless.
Behind him, he could not see that the stunningly beautiful Gong Xiao had transford completely. If she had been a celestial being descended from heaven, she now looked like a monster who had crawled out of hell!
Her entire body was silver, with black eyes and red pupils!
Her slender fingers danced on Zhang Kaijie’s neck, whispering sothing as her mouth opened and closed, like a low chant of a demon.
After half a minute, Gong Xiao let go of Zhang Kaijie, he slumped to the floor, sweat pouring from his forehead. He stared blankly at Tang Ye, didn’t dare to take a glance at Gong Xiao behind him, frightened at the sight.
He felt like the celestial being had turned into sothing terrifying, he didn’t dare to contemplate the drastic contrast.
"What... what did you do to ?"
Zhang Kaijie felt sothing strange going on with his body, as if another soul had entered his.
"What is this power? What is this thing! Undo it!"
"Get up!"
Tang Ye grunted and hoisted him up, then said, "Go do what you’re supposed to do, and rember, if you dare to betray ... hehe."
With that, he suddenly chuckled, and Gong Xiao nodded. Zhang Kaijie’s eyes went blank like a robot without consciousness, walked to the table, picked up the fruit knife on it, and pointed it at his own neck. Then his eyes lightened up, startled by the sight of the sharp knife pointed against his throat!

In fear, he let go of the fruit knife. It flew through the air and hit the wall, leaving a cloud of white dust.
Understanding dawned on Zhang Kaijie, his face filled with bewildernt, he felt like he was dreaming. Never in his wildest dreams did he think powers from myths and legends would exist, how terrifying is that to people?
"I... I... understood, I’ll do it imdiately!"
His voice trembling, Zhang Kaijie said, Tang Ye nodded. After receiving directions to He Jinzhan’s house, Zhang Kaijie almost ran out of the room.
At 7:40 p.m., the top figures in the Jinhai United District received the ssage at the sa ti. Commissioner He had an urgent announcent to make and summoned everyone to his mansion for a eting. Everyone was to arrive as quickly as possible.
The source of the ssage was known by most of these big shots, it was sent by the commander of the Zhen Legion who controlled the Jinhai Control Zone. Strangely, the ssage did not specify what the urgent matter was, simply demanding these important figures rush to He Jinzhan’s mansion.
Previously, however, etings had been summoned at this hour, so the executives didn’t suspect anything unusual and headed to He Jinzhan’s mansion
About ten minutes later, the first batch of Jinhai executives arrived. He Jinzhan’s mansion is a sprawling estate with all sorts of equipnt and devices, the executives were very familiar with it and imdiately made their way to the living room to sit down and chat.
Soon, most of the seats in the big living room were filled, but He Jinzhan remained absent.
"What’s going on? Wasn’t there an important matter at hand? Why hasn’t the Commissioner appeared yet?"
"Did you guys notice anything? We were so of the first ones to arrive here, usually the servants at the Commissioner’s ho would prepare a few snacks and drinks for us, but today there doesn’t seem to be anybody else here other than us."
"Right!"
"Nevermind, the Commissioner might be keeping us in suspense again. Not every ergency eting is bad news, it might be sothing good that the Commissioner is keeping under wraps."
"Maybe so..."
Another ten minutes passed, and all the high-ranking officials and powerhouses of the Jinhai United District had arrived, but Commissioner He Jinzhan was still nowhere to be seen. His seat remained empty.
"What’s going on? Why hasn’t he arrived yet?"
"I have a bad feeling about this."
As ti went on, so of the power players started to notice an ominous aura perating the air.
