As February ca to an end, winter had given way to spring, and the thick, heavy clouds in the sky had significantly dissipated, exposing the deep and enchanting blue sky. The timid sun peeked out, casting brilliant sunlight on the earth, driving away so of the darkness. The heavy snow gradually lted away, revealing patches of moist soil, from which resilient blades of grass stubbornly pried their way out.

In the hazy green mountains, the sparse and snowy ground showed vague footprints, which, along with the lted snow, gradually disappeared. At the end of the mountain trail were countless gravestones overgrown with moss.

In front of a certain gravestone stood a large, rotting zombie, facing the illegible na on the gravestone, its mouth open in a faint cry, as if it were weeping or lanting.

A worn and dirty piece of white paper was blown by the wind and held fast to its face, but was soon lifted up several yards high by a gust of wind.

The wind blows over the wilderness, scattering paper before it flies, the old graves line up, the spring grass turns green.

In the sky, a silver, propeller-less lood warplane swept across the sky, causing a commotion in its wake. Su Sigui, who was seated in the rear, watched it, her gaze sowhat dreamy, as if recalling so past events. These were mories that left her heartbroken but unwilling to abandon. The grave in front of the zombie seed like the softest part of her soul, reminding her of many people and many events.

"Mada Mayor, we’ve reached Mingzhen City."

Su Sigui refocused her gaze. The zombies and the graveyards below had disappeared from her view, and she had regained her usually icy deanor.

"Record the situation below."

"Okay." The pilot replied, and upon pressing a button, the cara entered recording mode, zooming in on the zombies of Mingzhen City. anwhile, a blonde, blue-eyed foreign man in the co-pilot’s seat occasionally voiced lauds of awe.

"Oh my God, what is this thing that has damaged the city to such an extent!"

Su Sigui gave him a side-eye, then turned to look at what the foreign man was holding – a tablet displaying an image of the combat between Tang Ye and the Level 6 Water Guanyin by Qulong River.

That area was completely devastated by now, with significant collapses along the western riverbank. On the surface of Qulong River floated several mounds of decaying flesh, which were very large, evident that they had fallen off so colossal creature.

Su Sigui had seen such images before and had ford a guess. The Level 6 zombie from Fengming City most likely had a battle with the Water Guanyin in the water. However, looking at the enormous whip-like marks on the street surface at the riverbank, the giant severed tail in the middle of the road, and tentacles with folding skins like tree bark, it seed that this was a battle between three Level 6 zombies, or perhaps two Level 6 zombies ganging up on another Level 6 zombie.

Why Su Sigui was convinced that Level 6 zombies caused this was because she knew the strengths of zombies at each level. Level 5 zombies could certainly not possess such terrifying destructive power, it had to be at least Level 6 zombies or above!

"This is the Water Guanyin," Su Sigui said lightly.

"Water Guanyin?"

The foreign man froze, not making out the na. Su Sigui frowned and corrected herself, "It’s a water demon."

"Oh," the man exclaid, finally understanding.

"How did a water demon get into China?" he then asked.

However, Su Sigui didn’t answer him this ti, instead looking out the window at the slowly dissipating clouds. The foreign man did not press further. He kept flipping through the images until he stumbled upon a video showing the Zombie King in Lin City, which startled him, causing his complexion to pale.

"Oh, shit, is this magic? Wait... we are in S Province, and this Zombie King is in Lin City, which is not far from us!"

"That place has already been nuked by the United District," Su Sigui said calmly.

Upon hearing her, the foreign man eased a bit, but before he could heave a sigh of relief, Su Sigui added, "But we don’t know if it’s dead."

"..."

The foreign man was left speechless and finally said with an eerie tone, "You guys in China are really terrifying. Although there are many New Humans, I still feel that my holand is better, at least it doesn’t have these monsters."

Su Sigui turned to look at him, a cryptic look in her eyes, a bewitching smile lifting the corners of her mouth.

"Mr. Williams, actually, you don’t need to worry. I believe that very soon, a trendously horrifying being will erge in your holand too! I have given it the na ’Radiation Zombie King’, and it will be as formidable as the Chinese Zombie King!"

"Oh, dear Mayor, please don’t scare . If I get scared to death, the things you want will go to heaven with ."

Williams laughed heartily, trying to ease the tension, but the implications of his words were far from humorous. Su Sigui barely paid him any heed, continuing to gaze at the blue sky outside the window.

"Mada Mayor, just as you said, the zombies below have indeed started to gather on a large scale."

Hearing the pilot’s voice, Su Sigui took her gaze away, looking at the screen in front of the man. Indeed, a large scale tide of zombies had ford in the city of Mingzhen, slowly advancing in a particular direction.

And they were heading straight for Mingzhen Base!

Seeing this scene, the faces of the pilot and Williams, the foreign man, inevitably turned ashen, and their voices began to tremble.

"Ma...Mada Mayor, are we really going to Xifeng Base?"

"Why not?"

Su Sigui continued to watch the screen, her expression calm.

"But not now, let’s go sowhere far and wait for a day or two. Given the military strength of Xifeng Base, they can only hold out for about two days. The Base Commander should also choose to escape during that ti."

"Oh, okay."

Both of them breathed a sigh of relief. Looking at the scale of the zombie tide below, there must be about a million zombies. There were probably many high-level zombies among them, and there might even be Level 6 zombies!

Su Sigui herself was not sure whether such a huge tide of zombies would spawn a Level 6 zombie. Although according to her mory, in this period, there wouldn’t be many Level 6 zombies yet, she saw two at Fengming City and hence she could not guarantee that none would appear among the hordes in Mingzhen City.

After all, the statistics in her previous life’s mory were compiled by humans – what if so data was missing?

The City of Bright Moon’s helicopter disappeared on the horizon. Shortly afterward, a video of large scale zombies gathering in Mingzhen City heading toward Xifeng Base was broadcast on the newly established network in this post-apocalyptic era.

In the Peace Party Building in Qinshan Base, Tang Ye expelled a sigh of relief after finishing the video. He spoke with Xu Haishui, who was in front of him, "It seems Su Sigui just seized control of Xifeng Base, right?"

"Yes."

Xu Haishui shrugged his shoulders.

Tang Ye rubbed his nose, sowhat amazed. This young woman seed to be only about twenty years old, yet she already had two bases under her control, while he was still in Qinshan Base.

"By the way, has Gujin Base been settled?"

"We’ve already taken over there. We won’t be short of food. The Base Commander and all the high-ranking officials were all killed by Xu Changchi."
