The process of Tang Ye rging with Gong Xiao was slow, taking more than three days to assimilate all the normal anti-life materials in Gong Xiao’s body into mutant anti-life materials. Her iron-gray skin also completely transford into dark silver.
Sighing, Tang Ye walked in front of Gong Xiao, squatted down and touched her palm with his hand, pulled out a black line from it that emitted a dark mist. Seeing this, Tang Ye smiled satisfactorily, now waiting for Gong Xiao to wake up and see if her intelligence still existed.
He walked out of the factory and saw his biker gang mbers, who hailed him as "boss".
Tang Ye ignored them and walked directly behind an evolved zombie. His fingers bent into claws, and he violently plunged them into the zombie’s head.
Thwack!
The head of the evolved zombie was instantly crushed by Tang Ye, extracting the Evolution Crystal from it. Without a second thought, Tang Ye threw it straight into his mouth, and then went on to harm the next zombie.
Only after he had consud Evolution Crystals from most of the evolved zombies around him did Tang Ye return to the factory. Entering the courtyard, he saw Gong Xiao slowly waking up.
"Awake yet?"
Gong Xiao sat up, gave him a confused look, and then touched her eye.
"I’m still alive... I don’t seem to have changed?"
Her first reaction was to touch her face, showing her obsession with beauty!
Then, she noticed sothing strange, she saw her hand had turned silver, radiating a tallic luster. When her arms clashed, they made a "clang" sound like iron!
Looking down at the rest of her body, Gong Xiao let out a cry, her entire body had turned silver, and her skin was incredibly hard! Her eyes looked just like Tang Ye’s, like eyes of a malevolent deity! She had a hard ti accepting it, but Tang Ye just chuckled, shaking his head and saying, "Why are you panicking? Look here."
Looking up at Tang Ye, Gong Xiao’s face showed shock. That upward glance wasn’t an action she chose but was caused by an irresistible force lifting her head!
She saw the exhilarating expression on Tang Ye’s face.
She quickly realized that her body was completely controlled by this Level 6 zombie, and she couldn’t resist!
"You..."
"It seems your intelligence is still there."
Gong Xiao looked at Tang Ye in terror, as if looking at a demon, and her body began to shrink back, but it didn’t shrink far before it shrank back again. She knew, this was Tang Ye’s trick!
"As I said, look here."
She obediently looked at him, only to see Tang Ye take off his coat, revealing his strong muscles. Gong Xiao was puzzled at first, but then she saw the color of Tang Ye’s skin changing to silver like hers, except his skin was sowhat shinier than her’s.
Gong Xiao’s expression beca strange after seeing Tang Ye’s skin change.
"You can actually..." She didn’t finish her sentence, but her aning was clear.
Tang Ye smiled slightly and said, "Try and see if you can do the sa."
Gong Xiao nodded and tried to control her skin to look like a human, but after trying for a while, she looked blankly at Tang Ye.
"Feel every cell in your body and change them!" Tang Ye reminded her, and intently watched Gong Xiao.
He didn’t know if the humans infected or the zombies assimilated by him could disguise themselves as humans. He wasn’t sure about other Silver Armor zombies, but Ah Fu could do it, so disguising as humans is not related to Tang Ye’s ability to control every cell in his body, but to the mutant anti-life matter.
Gong Xiao furrowed her brows and focused on sensing the cells in her body, but after a long ti without any reaction, she wondered if Tang Ye was tricking her. But then looking at Tang Ye again, she saw his silver skin shifting back to human skin color and she began to study intently again.
"He shouldn’t be tricking . He’s also this kind of zombie. If he can beco human, why can’t I? I probably haven’t found the thod yet."
She said to herself, tried hard to follow as Tang Ye had told her, sensing every cell in her body. Ti flew by in her ditation, and finally she detected a signal and grabbed this fleeting hint!
"Is this how it’s done?"
She could feel a connection between her body and mind which she had never experienced before, as if her brain commands were connected to her body by a thread that she hadn’t noticed before. What Tang Ye said was too vague and practically useless. Perhaps for him, becoming human was as easy as moving his arm.
As dusk fell, the impatient Tang Ye was about to give up, seeing Gong Xiao still unable to transform into a human, he began to doubt if the Silver Armor zombies created by his infection and assimilation could disguise themselves as humans.
Since Gong Xiao couldn’t change her silver skin to human skin, there was no need to change her appearance. Even though Yinxiang was beautiful, silver skin would greatly reduce her attractiveness.
He brushed his hand, feeling sowhat frustrated for wasting so much effort for the past days. He was about to leave Gong Xiao to her own fate when sothing caught his eye. When he turned to look at Gong Xiao again, he saw that her skin was changing at a high speed to the human skin color. His heart instantly leaped with joy.
"Heh, you made it!"
"Really?"
Gong Xiao opened her eyes and stared at the fair skin on her forearm in disbelief. She touched it with her other hand, then pinched a piece of skin, feeling the firm yet smooth texture, making her feel like she was in a dream.
The ridges on her skin couldn’t be erased, though.
"This isn’t human skin, it’s my skin!"
She stood up excitedly, dancing with joy. Her eyes darted around, and then she picked up a shard of a broken mirror from the rubble on the ground. These shards were scattered all around the courtyard. In the days prior, she had vented her frustration on these mirrors as her human skin rotted away.
Reflected in the mirror was her face, Gong Xiao was very satisfied with her skin, but when she saw her face, she couldn’t hide her disappointnt. Her skin had indeed changed into human skin, but her face hadn’t.
She had no lips, her gums were exposed, her pupils were deep black and her eyeballs were blood red. Moreover, the ridges on her forehead and cheeks were carved like runes. She still looked like a zombie, just a very peculiar one, unlike other zombies.
"I..."
She looked at Tang Ye with hope in her eyes.
Tang Ye smiled wickedly, the image of her view appeared in his mind, and he saw his own appearance from her perspective.
Thump!
Suddenly, without any warning, Gong Xiao sat down, motionless, only able to speak through her mouth.
"What are you doing?"
"What do you think? The costic surgery officially begins!"
