The hall was neat and clean without any trace of dust on the tabletop or coffee table left during the ti Tang Ye was absent. Clearly, soone had been cleaning regularly.

He had also asked Xu Haishui about the situation. From the ti he was trapped by the huge tree till the ti he woke up after evolving to Level 6, almost two months had passed!

"What are you doing? Just sit still!"

Hearing the sound of Ah Fu moving around, Tang Ye yelled impatiently. Ah Fu paused before reluctantly taking a seat on the small sofa next to Tang Ye, his large head moving back and forth, his big eyes filled with confusion as they darted around, looking lost about what to say.

"Bai Huipeng!"

At this mont, Tang Ye called out, and Bai Huipeng poked his head in the door then barreled in.

"Boss, what’s up?"

"Do you have instant noodles? Get a cup."

A strange look crossed Bai Huipeng’s face. In the ti he had known Tang Ye, he had never seen him eat. If he himself didn’t need to eat, he would have thought that evolved beings no longer needed food.

But slling the aroma of the instant noodles, Tang Ye started to salivate. He couldn’t wait to eat.

"Sure, boss. Just wait a mont."

After Bai Huipeng left, Tang Ye glanced down at his pants and thought, "Since it’s responding, my sense of taste must be returning..."

Soon after, Bai Huipeng returned with a cup of instant noodles. He had already poured the flavor packets into the noodle cup.

Bai Huipeng placed the noodles in front of Tang Ye and then poured over the hot water that he had just boiled.

"While I was away, did anything happen?" Tang Ye asked.

"Nothing much really happened. The notices that we put up around have been seen by many, and many people have joined us over this period. The headcount is over three thousand six hundred."

"Ah...that’s right. About half a month ago, we encountered a group of bandits. They supposedly ca from the highway...the gang that rides shoddy motorbikes causing havoc everywhere."

"Bandits?"

Tang Ye’s eyes narrowed as Bai Huipeng continued: "Exactly, bandits. They were fierce and ruthless. When they ca down from the highway, they didn’t encounter any zombies, and they ran into our people. They killed several and even stole our goods."

"And then?" Tang Ye pursued.

"Then, Old Xu led a group of us and found them, at Hongjiapo, near a gas station. There were over a hundred of them. At that ti, we had a lot of people with us, and we killed all the n in that gang! But..."

Bai Huipeng paused, his face turning a little awkward.

"But what?"

"There were many won...that group of morons kept a large group of sex slaves. We

brought them back, but it was difficult to distribute them, so we just gave them to our brothers."

Having said that, Bai Huipeng glanced at Tang Ye. He wasn’t afraid that Tang Ye would be unhappy with their actions, but rather that Tang Ye would disapprove of them playing with won.

"I see, is that all?"

Tang Ye waved his hand indifferently. He was not so benevolent that he could not tolerate this, especially in this apocalyptic world where anything could happen. Being able to survive was already good enough.

In the apocalypse, such incidents were commonplace. No one could stop it, nor was there any need to. People’s worldview would rapidly change with the tis. Things that were once unacceptable had now beco the norm.

This was the mainstream. Tang Ye was no saint in his previous life, without any lofty ideals. He just wanted to go with the flow in this apocalyptic world and take care of his own business. Or perhaps, soone else’s business!

After Bai Huipeng had soaked the noodles, he used a board to press down on the paper lid and was about to leave when he suddenly rembered sothing.

"That’s right, boss. Heard that a Level 5 zombie appeared in the City Center, and it killed many people. A lot of people have fled from around the City Center to here. They said looking into the eyes of that zombie would cause death!"

"Looking into its eyes will cause death, is that even possible?"

Bai Huipeng shook his head and said, "I don’t know that, but soone took a photo of it."

"Here, boss, take a look."

Seeing that Tang Ye showed interest, Bai Huipeng kindly took out his phone, clicked on the photo album, enlarged one of the pictures, and handed it to Tang Ye.

Tang Ye took Bai Huipeng’s phone and looked at it. The person who took the picture should have been quite far from the zombie, so it seed quite blurry.

There were more than a dozen pictures, the zombie inside was about four ters tall, completely black, a ring of column-like horns growing from the back of its head. The tips of these horns sprouted flesh, concealing its entire body.

The shape of its head was unclear, but it also had thick flesh growing from the top, hanging down due to gravity. At first glance, it seed as if the zombie was naturally clothed.

Its arms were thick and Tang Ye couldn’t make out its palms, probably due to the blurriness of the picture, but it was holding a five-ter-long scythe.

Tang Ye could tell at a glance that this scythe wasn’t man-made but had evolved along with the zombie.

The scythe had a shape similar to rock and flesh mixed together, its surface covered in circle patterns that were still visible.

With this flesh plus the evolved flesh scythe, the zombie looked like the Grim Reaper from television shows.

However, in all the pictures, Tang Ye could only see the back of the zombie.

"There are only pictures of its back. Are all the people who saw its eyes dead?" Tang Ye asked Bai Huipeng with a hint of suspicion in his tone. His eyes showed intense interest.

At that mont, the door was pushed open with a ’ka’ sound, and Xu Haishui walked in. Seeing him, Tang Ye quickly gestured him to co over and handed his phone to him.

Hearing Bai Huipeng describe the zombie as so magical, being able to kill you with just a look, Tang Ye was sowhat skeptical. But then again, wasn’t the black mist in his possession very magical too?

Don’t forget, his black mist could turn into clothes. This was already beyond Tang Ye’s understanding. Even though Tang Ye was the user, he still didn’t understand what the black mist was. He decided he would have to establish a research group to study it in the future.

Anyway, regardless of how you look at it, since Tang Ye already had such an ability, it didn’t seem too strange for other zombies to have so bizarre abilities.

"Take a look. Can you tell what type of zombie it is?" Tang Ye said, emphasizing the word ’zombie’.

Narrowing his eyes and hesitating for a mont, Xu Haishui turned to Tang Ye, questioning: "A ntal type zombie?"

"Does it look like one?"

"The physique doesn’t match."

"If you look into its eyes, you’ll die." Bai Huipeng chid in.

"Ah?"

"It might be similar to ."

"I’ll go take a look in a few days."

A light flashed in Xu Haishui’s eyes, while Tang Ye waved his hand, dismissing Bai Huipeng.

After Bai Huipeng left, Nannan poked her little head out from the door, her big sparkling eyes curiously scanning the surroundings.
