He wasn’t sure why, but he had evolved faster than Tang Ye, causing him to wake up earlier.
Looking around at his surroundings, Ah Fu was clearly a bit stunned. A flash of thought appeared in his eyes as he stepped onto the ground. A few unfortunate trees were kicked over by him, each toppling over with their entire root systems.
The glimr of thought and emotion in his eyes suggested that Ah Fu, who had evolved to level 6, now had human-like intelligence!
Just after waking up, Ah Fu wandered around in so confusion. When he saw the towering tree that seed to connect the sky and the earth, it jogged his mory. He ran back to where he had just erged from, dug out so soil, and carefully lifted out the ditating Tang Ye.
"Boss ... Boss?"
He called out to Tang Ye dumbfoundedly a few tis, but when he received no response, Ah Fu scratched his head and started wandering around again.
Having acquired intelligence that could match that of an average person, he was intensely curious about everything around him. However, after wandering around and devouring a few evolved beasts, he got bored. He returned to Tang Ye’s side, vigilantly guarding his boss’s safety.
A few days and nights passed before Tang Ye finally stirred, waking up. The mont he opened his eyes, he was t with the sight of giant footprints stomped into the landscape.
"What happened?"
His head felt a bit foggy. He had been in deep sleep and had no idea what Ah Fu had done here.
But the next mont, a head as big as a small hill appeared in front of him. Its eerie eyes that mirrored his own, with black pupils and red irises, startled him.
"Who?"
Subconsciously, Tang Ye reached out and viciously grabbed this massive creature’s hair, performing a shoulder throw!
The over-thirty-ters-tall Ah Fu was flung nearly fifty ters away by the two-ter-tall Tang Ye without any resistance!
"Boss... Boss!"
The giant let out a vague tune. Startled, Tang Ye’s face turned odd.
Although Ah Fu had recovered his intelligence, he wasn’t the sa as Tang Ye. Tang Ye had mories from when he was human, but Ah Fu had none. Despite having intelligence on par with humans now, he still had no recollection of the days before he was a zombie, his mory only started when he beca a zombie.
As a result, he didn’t know human language. He only knew how to call Tang Ye from certain recollections in his past, so he addressed Tang Ye in the sa way.
"Are you... Ah Fu?"
Ah Fu nodded, scratching his head nonchalantly. This made him seem quite harmless. His mouth boasted four sharp tusks, and spiky bones wrapped around his body. By any standard, he didn’t look harmless at all. But to Tang Ye, this was Ah Fu — nothing but harmless.
"Yes ... It’s Ah Fu."
He scratched his head again, taking quite so ti to co up with that sentence.
"You’re intelligent now?"
"Er..."
Roar, roar ~
Not knowing how to respond, Ah Fu could only utter a low roar to express his thoughts, while Tang Ye inferred what he was trying to say.
"You are, aren’t you?"
Tang Ye squinted his eyes, feeling a bit off. Ah Fu’s sudden display of intelligence took him by surprise, since he had always had conversations with an artificial dimwit. However, he also felt a wave of relief.
Ah Fu was not dead. The fact that this completely loyal subordinate of his was alive was a blessing from god.
Tang Ye did feel emotions, but he kept them hidden and didn’t like showing them.
If Ah Fu hadn’t desperately held back Yinxiang, he would’ve been roped into a two-against-one fight and been eliminated!
Having experienced such situations, how could Tang Ye just watch Ah Fu die?
Obviously, it was best that he hadn’t died.
"Boss, do we go out now?"
Ah Fu sent this ssage to Tang Ye using his mind. Previously, they had been wandering around this place in order to exit. Now, with both Changjue and Yinxiang consud by the two of them, the ’getting lost’ phenonon should be no more.
Leaving was Tang Ye’s goal, and Ah Fu had guessed it right, so he asked like this.
What surprised Ah Fu, however, was Tang Ye shaking his head and saying, "There’s no rush. Let get adjusted first."
Although Tang Ye spoke with his mouth, he also shared the sa information with Ah Fu in his mind. This way, he could not only communicate but also indirectly teach Ah Fu to speak like a normal person.
Taking a deep breath, Tang Ye’s body expanded dramatically, and in a flash, he transford into a giant figure similar to Ah Fu’s size. Simultaneously, the clothes he was wearing also expanded.
This was extrely convenient. During the evolution to Level 6 zombie, he had learned to use the black fog in several ways, most commonly to transform it into anything he wished to imitate, whether it be clothing or a weapon.
What baffled him the most was the ability to cause neurological confusion in others. The ’getting lost’ phenonon they had previously experienced was caused by Changjue’s use of this ability.
The truth was, they had not been moving forward. When they were separated, it wasn’t due to an invisible force teleporting them to different locations. The reality was that whenever Tang Ye decided to leave and took action, they would always end up going in circles!
That’s why they couldn’t get out!
Having turned into a giant, Tang Ye grabbed his shirt and turned towards Ah Fu, asking, "Can you change?"
Ah Fu, looking confused, thought for a mont. He opened his hand and a black light flashed out, cutting a canyon three to four ters deep into the ground.
Tang Ye shook his head, teaching Ah Fu how to transform the black fog into clothes and asked him to practice.
A few hours later, Tang Ye arrived at an open space and nodded.
"This is the place."
Murmuring to himself in confirmation, Tang Ye raised his hand and a ball of flesh grew in his palm.
Extending his other hand, he grabbed the flesh ball, threw it in front of him, and the flesh ball began to squirm on the ground. At Tang Ye’s ntal command, it transford into another Tang Ye within monts.
Imdiately after, this "Tang Ye" expelled black fog from his body which transford into a set of clothes in an instant.
"It works."
Nodding in approval again, Tang Ye smiled in satisfaction.
After evolving to Level 6, his power was simply an enhancent of his abilities at Level 5. At Level 5, any flesh and blood that left his body would lose all its vitality. But after evolving to Level 6, the detached flesh and blood would still be active and under his control.
Moreover, these detached chunks of flesh and blood could transform into anything Tang Ye desired. He could separate so of his flesh and blood and turn them into another version of himself. Their strength would depend on the density of the anti-life matter separated from himself; the smaller the density, the more potent the energy, and the stronger the clone!
He could also perceive everything his clones perceived!
Even more so, after being affected by the weird substance in Changjue, he gained another terrifying ability that could be considered invincible!
Omnipresence!
