Tang Ye felt a bit regretful deep down. Zombies can survive without food or drink for a month if they have enough energy, of course, assuming there is no combat involved.

As a Level 5 zombie, the energy stored in his body is enough for him to consu more than ten Level 4 zombies. But he hadn’t cared about it since he ate so Evolution Crystals from Level 3 zombies half a month ago.

He also wanted to have his energy replenished at all tis, but where could he find that many evolved zombies for himself?

When it cos to eating ordinary zombies, the massive quantity discouraged even Tang Ye. No matter if it were Tang Ye, Xu Haishui, or Ah Fu, the energy stored in their body had rarely ever been fully restored.

Even at the tis when it did get full, it was during the lower stages, like Level 1 or 2. Back then, the energy replenishnt was quite satisfactory. A few Level 1 evolved zombies would usually suffice.

However, Level 4 or Level 5 zombies have so much energy stored in their bodies that they usually distribute throughout their limbs for rapid self-healing during bodily damage. Precisely due to this, high-level zombies find it very difficult to fully restore their physical strength!

This is also the most significant difference between humans and zombies!

When humans exhaust their physical strength, they just need to rest for a while. Food is their source for regenerating strength, whereas zombies consider food as their primary strength!

With enough food cos an abundance of energy. Only when energy is depleted will a zombie die!

Of course, a zombie won’t die imdiately after its internal energy is exhausted. Otherwise, Tang Ye would have died more than ten tis when he first turned into a zombie. After zombies exhaust their internal energy, their every mont of activity consus their own anti-life matter.

If they don’t replenish food for a long ti, the anti-life matter will lose its original activity.

Each anti-life matter unit is like a robot as large as a human. This robot is quite magical - it can transform any life cells it touches into robots like itself.

But even robots need power, and this power cos from the host’s food intake, which helps them to increase their mass.

Without the host’s food, they lose their power, which ans they beco inert and separate from the host’s body.

That’s why if a zombie goes without food for a long ti, its flesh will dry up and fall off, making it extrely disgusting!

As Tang Ye was flying hither and thither in the air, the pseudo-dragon kept adjusting its dragon head to face him directly. This gave Tang Ye a headache!

Now it was very vigilant against him. He wanted to seize an opportunity to kill it, but he just couldn’t find one.

Its head was too hard. Despite being hit so many tis, he wasn’t able to breach its defense. This made Tang Ye wonder, if all evolved creatures were like this dragon, then what can one do?

The pseudo-dragon kept roaring furiously, exuding a spirit of resentnt as well as a die-hard attitude. But Tang Ye did not know how long this spirit would last.

Up until now, there was no sign of the pseudo-dragon withering away. On the contrary, it was Tang Ye - the energy left in his body was less than one percent. He didn’t know how long he could hold on.

The more he felt like this, the more rampant the violent emotions within Tang Ye’s heart beca. However, there was no place to vent them. He had discarded his human way of thinking after he beca a zombie. Even though his intelligence had also grown, allowing him to interpret different anings in other people’s words, that was about it.

He hadn’t felt any other benefits for now. It was challenging to notice the growth of intelligence - at least that’s what Tang Ye currently thought. Perhaps his ability to react in combat would improve rapidly.

After a round of circling, suddenly, Tang Ye felt a jolt in his body. Then everything in front of his eyes, beyond his control, started to flip!

Tang Ye was appalled. He wanted to flap his wings but found that he couldn’t feel anything!

Although becoming a zombie ant losing a sense of pain, which also ant losing all sense of touch, he could still feel himself moving and touching things.

But now, all these senses were gone. His energy had finally run out. His body movents beca uncoordinated. Even though his wings were moving, he just couldn’t feel it!

The feeling was very peculiar, like when you rest your hand on sothing for a long ti, losing all sensation. Though your hand could move, you still couldn’t feel it moving. It was just standing there watching your fingers move with your thoughts.

Because of this sensation, it beca harder for Tang Ye to flap his wings. Under normal circumstances, one’s brain sends commands to the body parts to move them.

Now? Moving his body felt like blocking his own sense of feeling. It was like operating a high-tech computer without knowing anything about it. While pressing different keys randomly covers a great chance of hitting the right one, it doesn’t guarantee that you will indeed press the right one!

Tang Ye’s body was flapping around in the air. Sotis an only wing was flapping, while the other wasn’t. At other tis, his body seed to stretch like a rubber band while his limbs were flailing powerlessly up and down in a very eerie manner!

It wasn’t until he started descending gradually that he managed to adapt and control his body. Tang Ye began to ascend, but unexpectedly, as he was swooping down to a certain height, the pseudo-dragon was crawling towards him at lightning speed!

Its enormous body was squirming, making a "thud thud bang bang" sound. The previous helicopter bombardnt was not for fun. Even though it seed unhurt for a short ti, during the commotion of its movent, chunks of bloody flesh that were blown open but still sticking to its body started to fall off.

For a mont, the ground where the pseudo-dragon had crawled past was soaked in blood, dyeing the trenches it had carved out a bloody red!

Tang Ye didn’t react in ti. At this mont, he was trying his best to control his body to rise. If it wasn’t for the fact that zombies couldn’t feel tired, he would have collapsed on the ground already!

By the ti Tang Ye reacted, he saw the pseudo-dragon arching its body high and pressing its wide neck hard towards him!

"F *ck!!"

Tang Ye let out a curse, and in his heart, there was more than just violent emotions now. There was also a pathological desire for destruction!

The back of the pseudo-dragon was covered in bloody muddle. The bomb blasts had left it pockmarked, and blood was pouring out. So of its flesh was even burnt black by the explosion, making it very creepy to look at!

But seeing this, Tang Ye felt exhilarated! It was this exhilaration that, when he saw the intact belly and neck of the pseudo-dragon, gave rise to a destructive desire. A desire to plow through its flawless skin!

To make its flesh fly about! To create injuries that leave it pockmarked. In short, the more grueso, the better!

Unfortunately, Tang Ye didn’t have the opportunity just yet.

Bang!

A dull impact sounded, and Tang Ye was directly hit to the ground by the pseudo-dragon. He wanted to flap his wings but no matter what, he couldn’t make a move. Soon, he found out that one of his wings was broken!

His bat-like wings, the inside of one of the wings had bent in the opposite direction. It looked very painful, but the problem was, Tang Ye didn’t have a sense of pain...
