Urgh~!!!

Even for the survivors who had beco accustod to the stench of death in the post-apocalyptic world, this sll was unbearable. They started retching uncontrollably, their stomachs churning violently. Even those standing behind the mound of dirt couldn’t avoid the suffocating odor, with the sound of retching heard from afar.

"What the hell is that? It stinks so bad!"

"Urgh~ I can’t handle it, what is inside?"

"It’s corpses!"

"Corpses can sll this bad? I’ve eaten corpses that have been dead for a month, and they never slled like this!"

"I need to cover my nose!"

"..."

In no ti, people from both Bai Huipeng’s side and Song Wuli’s side started to move away from the unbearable stench.

The sll was similar to a pile of feces that had been left in a particular spot for too long and had not decomposed but begun fernting, amplifying the stench manifold. It was enough to make everyone feel dizzy.

"It’s that black water, the sll is coming from inside it... Urgh~ I can’t stand it anymore!"

Everyone was losing their minds. Looking at the ground tainted by the black liquid, everyone felt as if this once pure world had been defiled.

Inside, Song Wuli held his nose, his eyes watering. Hearing the cries and curses from outside, his fear was replaced by mocking laughter.

"Serves them right!"

Bai Huipeng’s group didn’t know what was going on, but Song Wuli and the people there knew.

They had not used the dirt just to hide the sight, but to bury the bodies!

Initially, they had cleared out a majority of the zombies around, but killing zombies inevitably led to a pile-up of dead bodies. The sight was too grueso. After all, nobody would want to head out and be greeted by streets full of zombie corpses.

Thinking of what to do with the corpses, Song Wuli had co up with an idea to gather all the bodies, stacking them one after another to form a circle.

Before the Apocalypse, the Qukai Central Primary School was in the process of constructing a new building, and the unfinished building was full of available construction materials. Initially, Song Wuli and his group intended to use the cent here to wrap all the corpses and build a wall.

However, they hadn’t expected that none of these people were construction workers. All had taken refuge here during the apocalypse, and since the outbreak coincided with a holiday, no one was at work.

With no other option, they had to build the wall themselves. However, the wall they built with corpses was far from flat, and the lack of technique ant the cent application was a ss. They couldn’t fill it completely with cent because it was running low, and Song Wuli could only lant the waste!

Then, he ca up with another idea – to use fabric. They covered all the bodies with fabric and then applied cent.

They used all the curtains and other fabric they could find from the classrooms to cover the corpses. To hold the cent in place once it dried, they saturated the fabric with enough water to make it heavy.

However, even after struggling to apply the cent, they found the wall to be rough and uneven. They could even see the grotesque faces of so zombies peeking out, which was quite a frightening sight.

Left with no choice, Song Wuli had to use all the dirt they had to cover the cent wall. They then used the scaffold to secure it and turned it into a platform.

In doing so, the corpses inside the cent wall remained sealed in a closed space. Combined with the water exposure, the process of decay was leading to so unusual reactions.

The problem was that the temperature wasn’t high enough. Over ti, the corpses, possibly due to the anti-life matter inside them, began to slowly turn into a black liquid with an appalling stench!

Even if he hanged himself, Song Wuli could not have fathod that his makeshift idea would nauseate their enemies before he died.

"Get back here!"

Seeing his n unable to bear the foul sll and moving back, Bai Huipeng couldn’t hold back and yelled, driving them back.

"You, drive that tank. Find a clean spot and ram it through!"

He spoke towards the two n on the tank.

Hearing Bai Huipeng’s words, the faces of the two on the tank turned ashen, and they wailed, "Brother Peng, how do we find a clean place? As you can see, it’s surrounded on all sides."

"I don’t give a damn!" Bai Huipeng wore an enraged expression. He would have slaughtered on the spot the person who had fired a shot earlier if he could!

However, he was also worried. The area was filled with dirt, and any part of it might contain the black, viscous liquid. The re thought of this vile substance getting on the tank made him want to abandon the machine!

Regardless of how repulsed he was by the liquid, he had no option but to deal with it. He was well aware of why he was here after all.

Left with no choice, the two n in the tank prepared to find a "clean" spot to ram through the obstruction and make their way inside.

But before they could, a voice sounded like an angel in their ears.

"Brother Peng, co over here. There’s a door!"

"Where?"

Bai Huipeng was overjoyed and rushed over imdiately. He saw one of his n, who was covering his nose, pointing to a small door painted in red.

"This should be the entrance," the man said.

Bai Huipeng nodded in agreent. He imdiately asked the tank not to approach and ordered it to be parked farther away. Then, he stood in front of the door alone, signaling others to keep their distance.

Hss~

Taking a deep breath, excitent flashed in Bai Huipeng’s eyes. Ever since evolving into a Level 2 New Human, he hadn’t had a chance to unleash his power. Now, this door would serve as a test for his strength!

With a clenched fist, Bai Huipeng’s knuckles cracked ominously as he conjured up power. His body, transford by the anti-life matter, began to function at incredible speed. Deep within, his DNA strands started to break and recompose repeatedly until they achieved the most optimized state.

In the process, Bai Huipeng underwent a significant external transformation. His eyes beca narrower, and the corners of his mouth curved upwards, resembling a sinister smirk rather than a smile. His back beca more pronounced with thickened flesh jutting out. There were other changes as well, but those were unidentifiable to the naked eye.

Only Bai Huipeng knew about them.

His fist had yet to strike, but a faint gust of wind began to erge from it. To those who understood, this was a sign of a power that could be comparable to a Level 3 New Human!

Bang!

Finally, Bai Huipeng’s fist ca crashing down. The red paint on the door started to flake as his fist made contact and the door caved in with a smack!
