Once inside the room, Xu Haishui glanced at the female zombie nailed to the ground, a strange look flitted across his face. Then, he started to explain the principle to Tang Ye.
He was himself a zombie that evolved towards the ntal aspect; he had so understanding of controlling the ones that ca and went.
"You’ve controlled zombies before, so you know what it feels like. What we call ’control’, only exists when high-level zombies take control of the low-level ones, making them accept our will and controlling them!"
"You may be confused, but I understand fully. As I said before, it’s about mory. Yes, mory..." He seed unable to continue. Even though Xu Haishui had so insights into ntal control, explaining it to soone else requires good communication skills. So he got stuck, his tone changing chaotically and he fumbled for words.
After a while, he seed to organize his thoughts and continued, "To control low-level zombies, we need to forcefully implant our mories into their brains. Whatever we think, they do. You’ve controlled zombies before, so you know that our brains are full of hooks!"
"These hooks are our weapons. Strictly speaking, they are our ntal hooks. In the ntal world, every evolving zombie is a hunter with those hooks at hand. However, so hunters know how to use them while others don’t!"
"And these hooks, are our mories. Once the hook targets sothing, we can take control and make it do whatever we want! Of course, these hooks can break too, and my goal is to make the line of your hook snap, leaving the hook’s end in my brain! So that I can obtain what Ah Fu has obtained!"
Tang Ye squinted his eyes again. This ti he thought of a problem. He thought back to how Ah Fu beca his underling. Initially, he was trying to control Ah Fu, who had no mutations. However, when his ntal hook latched onto it, Ah Fu began resisting furiously and underwent so indescribable evolution.
Xu Haishui claid that Ah Fu had gained mories due to being under his control. Could he be certain whether Ah Fu had lost all mories and turned into a blank slate?
If mories are so important to Xu Haishui, isn’t he afraid that the mories he already has will all disappear?
"I don’t completely understand what you’re saying, but I did grasp so of it. Ah Fu got emotions. But can you ensure that you won’t be completely controlled by , with no will of your own?"
Hearing Tang Ye’s words, Xu Haishui’s face twisted for a mont before returning to normal. He said, "We want different things. You can’t understand my feelings. It may be a risk, but emotions are extrely important to ! They’re worth risking for! It’s just like how the poor cling to money! Would you take a risk for five million during peaceful tis?"
"Humans are greedy, and despite being zombies, we are still greedy. Emotions are like money to . I lack them, so I need them deeply! For a poor man like , money can do a lot of things!"
Xu Haishui said excitedly, a manic grin spreading across his face and his eyes fixed on Tang Ye.
"We’re the sa, but our needs and perspectives are different. You’re lonely, but you’re used to it, so you can endure it. You’re not as obsessed as . You can give up everything, but I can’t. I had rich emotions, wonderful life, everything was perfect. But this damn apocalypse shattered it all!"
"As a ntal evolution zombie, I think you lack a direct understanding of the term, but you know what imagination is, right? That’s right, it’s imagination. So, my ntal world is rich, including all ntal evolution zombies in this world! Therefore, in this ntal world, we can get the answers and worldview we want! Hence, I am not lonely, I don’t understand your behavior, and you don’t understand mine!"
"Do you know about monkeys? They are primates. Even though they have a modicum of intelligence, they are not human! They can shalessly beg people for food; if people don’t give it, they can retaliate. But humans, mbers of the sa species, can’t do that! Maybe... Tang Ye, you might not understand what I’m talking about now, but soday your situation will be the sa as mind, whether in the future or the past! Humans can’t judge animals by their own morals! Neither can we as zombies!"
Tang Ye nodded his head, he deeply understood this. They were both zombies, but very different. Even though both their minds had been twisted by their zombie instincts, they pursued different things and understood things differently.
"You can get to the point now. Whether it succeeds or not, I have nothing to lose. However, I still hope that you will be successful. As you said, I am indeed very lonely..."
Xu Haishui cracked a grin, "Our deal will happen here. Now, release your hooks and try to control . But I will resist, hope your mind is strong enough!"
"Is this all I need to do?" Tang Ye said, a playful look on his face.
"Yes, go ahead." Xu Haishui closed his eyes. As his words ended, myriad ntal lines shot into his brain without any defenses!
Growl!
Xu Haishui roared instantly, his voice laden with pain, while an eerie smile spread across Tang Ye’s face.
"I have released all my ntal hooks, hehe..."
Xu Haishui’s face turned red instantly, scales covered his face and blood vessels bulged and burst. Black blood seeped out!
Uh uh heh heh...~
"Hee hee, command , hurry up and command ! Hahaha." Amidst the painful howl, Xu Haishui spat out so indiscernible words. Fortunately, Tang Ye understood him. Imdiately, with a thought, Tang Ye commanded him to move right. However, he saw Xu Haishui struggling to step left. His body was twisted due to imnse ntal pressure, his hand-bones elongating!
Tang Ye realized what Xu Haishui intended to do and imdiately commanded him to backtrack. As expected, Xu Haishui struggled forward. Each step trembled, and he made hoarse shouts from his blood-filled mouth.
Gagga~...
Tang Ye issued the second command as Xu Haishui moved forward. While giving the command, a more eerie smile appeared on his face.
"Don’t jump off the building!"
