This is not the post-apocalyptic world, their lifestyle is solely due to their leader, or perhaps not. But each person’s existence is undoubtedly due to this leader!

The term ’parasite infection by zombies’ abruptly pulled countless people back to reality. The crowd began to stir, not just ordinary people, but also Bai Huipeng and the others standing nearby. They were the new human species, who were initially not so afraid of being injured by zombies. Now, they too are at risk of being infected, stirring panic within the seven of them.

Observing the reactions of these survivors, Tang Ye narrowed his eyes and snorted coldly, realizing that his managent style might not be perfect after all.

Whenever he ntioned zombies, these people would show signs of fear, cowardice, and weakness. Seeing this in their eyes annoyed him.

Continuous comfort only breeds laziness and is completely unproductive!

Suddenly, Tang Ye recalled a story about a hunter, wolves, and deer.

In a forest abundant in wolves frequently preying on deer, a hunter, in an attempt to protect the deer, eradicated all the wolves in the forest. From then on, the deer herd lived a peaceful life without worrying about attacks from the wolves.

However, as ti passed, the deer’s lives beca even more comfortable. They had enough succulent grass to eat heartily every day, and every deer in the herd beca incredibly fat. Until one day, a wolf appeared in the forest and wiped out all the deer!

Among the herd, no deer could escape this wolf’s hunting; they all perished.

Living good days for too long made them lazy, lost a sense of crisis. Facing the wolf’s attack, they cannot run or fight back!

To struggle against this wolf, one must ensure that the wolf can not eat oneself, which essentially ans that one should run fast enough!

However, running fast requires consistent practice, on the brink of life and death! It nurtures one’s will and combat power!

Here on-site, Tang Ye, the zombies outside, and the survivors here, aren’t they just analogs of the hunter, wolves, and deer?

From the beginning, Tang Ye’s tactics were wrong. He drove all the zombies in the area more than ten kiloters away. The surviving mbers can go out without worrying about their lives. But with ti, their ability to survive independently becos much weaker!

Tang Ye wouldn’t want to see the people here waiting for him and expecting him to solve every problem they encounter.

If other survivor groups discover this place and harbour malicious intentions, Tang Ye wouldn’t have ti to help them solve their difficulties by himself!

He wasn’t eager to witness that day, when he, as a zombie, would battle the invading survivor group, while the people here just stood blankly and watched.

Although he hasn’t witnessed such an incident yet, this didn’t an it wouldn’t happen. This is the post-apocalyptic world, Tang Ye had seen too many ugly sides to humanity. He never saw two groups of survivors fighting each other for their own benefits, but during his ti here, Tang Ye had read many articles on post-apocalyptic fiction online.

The novels depict human nature vividly. Tang Ye hasn’t seen this yet, but it doesn’t an that it doesn’t exist. If other survivor groups genuinely invade this place, the people here will undoubtedly need excellent combat power to resist!

From what he sees now, these survivors resemble fat deer raised by a life of ease. The mont a wolf enters, they will have no power to resist!

Seeing the crowd grow restless, it quickly subsided as they waited for Tang Ye’s next statent. From the expression on their faces, Tang Ye sighed and seed very irritated.

Although they couldn’t see Tang Ye’s expression beneath his mask, these survivors imagined an extrely ferocious face underneath the mask, filled with intense fury!

Everyone instinctively lowered their heads, without daring to et Tang Ye’s eyes. They didn’t know why Tang Ye was angry, but nobody dared to question him.

"For those who have been infected by zombie parasites, you all may not recognise all of them, but so of you must be familiar with a few. Moreover, those who ventured out last ti must know where you went. From now on, each of you will line up according to the groups you left with the last ti."

Tang Ye spoke those words and watched the crowd shift. Within a short period, they had divided into teams according to the groups they left with last ti, although each team now had one to two fewer mbers.

There were a total of eleven teams. Tang Ye stepped forward, scanning each team with narrowed eyes, and then called out a representative from each group, totaling eleven people.

After pulling the eleven people aside, Tang Ye called over Xu Changchi, Ruan Chao’en, and Hu Gui — the three new humans. He assigned weapons to the representatives and walked out of the settlent.

"You, it’s your turn now. Lead us to where your team ventured last ti."

Tang Ye spoke to one person, who imdiately agreed and led the group towards their destination.

As they watched Tang Ye’s silhouette fade into the distance, the mbers of the group who had stayed back were all looking around, as if they were looking for sothing. However, having found nothing after a while, they gave up.

One of the group mbers spoke to his companion, "Where do you think the boss’s daughter is? Why didn’t he bring her today? Does the boss have another survivor group sowhere else?"

"That should be the case. Last ti when the boss took off several people’s limbs, Brother Peng and Brother Quan were called out. They ntioned that soone would pick them up, presumably, that person must be a mber of another survivor group the boss has. And the boss’s daughter must be under the care of them."

"Why bother? Why not just have her stay here? It’s such a hassle. Speaking of which, the boss’s daughter is really cute."

"Yes, yes."

The news about Tang Ye having a "daughter" has spread throughout the settlent. The conversation between the two n wasn’t loud, but everyone heard it, leading them to believe that Tang Ye also had another survivor group elsewhere and that he’s the leader there too!

Otherwise, Tang Ye wouldn’t typically leave alone.

Hearing these conversations, while countless people believed it to be true, Bai Huipeng and Feng Quan coincidentally ended up standing together at so point.

The two looked at each other, and both saw the sa expression in each other’s eyes.

"They’re all just spouting nonsense!"

Both of them were thinking the sa thing. The daughter of Brother Nian, Li Henian, isn’t being taken care of by people, but by a zombie, a highly dangerous Level 3 zombie!

With this Level 3 zombie around, the daughter of Brother Nian, Tang Ye, is the safest!
