The warmth of the Bick family might be exactly what Dairya desires, because it’s what she is missing. She can’t accept her broken family, can’t accept that the mad woman is her mother, so in Camberlite, the Bick family beca her relatives...
"You demon! You demon! You... you are the witch that will destroy the world! You will kill us all! Kill us all!"
"You brought the demons! Ah...! Get out! You’re not welco here! Out! Witch!"
After smashing for a while, the woman seed tired, put down the stool, and shouted heartbreakingly, her voice hoarse. She looked up and saw the daughter of the Bick couple watching her. The mouth that had just quieted started shouting again: "Her! She will kill us all! Listen! She’s... she’s talking to demons! Demons we can’t see!"
After the mad woman finished speaking, she finally quieted down, seemingly to let Gina hear so sounds, and Tang Ye also listened closely. After listening, it really seed like it!
"Co... this is... your... little rabbit is dead... we... revive..."
"Alright... revived! Partner... you... celebrate... heart?"
"This is... al... eat..."
Dairya’s voice was very small, almost like a mosquito, as if she was silently chanting sothing in her mind. With the door blocking it, even Tang Ye’s Level 9 zombie hearing couldn’t catch all of it. As for Gina and the mad woman, they could only hear so whispers, but that was scary enough!
Gina let out a scream and ran directly back to her room. Ariana, seeing her daughter’s abnormality, asked her with concern what was wrong. After Gina explained what had happened, the Bick couple ca out to look at the first floor, and the mad woman also beca excited, as if feeling pleased that the Bick family was about to believe her!
"You heard it, right? You heard it? I wasn’t wrong, she’s a witch, a sinister spirit! She can communicate with demons! Heard it now! Hahahaha!"
After saying this, the mad woman picked up the stool again! With a "boom," it smashed against the door! Upstairs, Mr. and Mrs. Bick exchanged a glance. Though they hadn’t personally heard what Dairya said, their daughter’s account had already given them a chill down the spine. They didn’t know what to do at the mont, and the woman’s manic behavior made it difficult to predict what she might do next.
Hiss~
Tang Ye took a breath; what Dairya said wasn’t clear to him, but individual words evoked sinister phrases.
What did she resurrect? It seems successful, celebrating, perhaps during dinner? Yet what kind of dinner?
Tang Ye pondered; dealing with Dairya these days, although her temperant is sowhat reclusive and gloomy, she seems inherently not bad. He controlled the eye to circle the house, intending to enter the room at the stairs for a look. Yet after searching, he couldn’t find a good breach point. He didn’t know what it was like inside, and if the eye slipped in from a bad spot and Dairya saw it, it would be awkward.
He hesitated for a while, Tang Ye eventually gave up controlling the eye into the room to inspect Dairya’s intentions. But if he didn’t, how could he get inside?
After a short while, Tang Ye thought of sothing, glanced at Dairya’s house, and listened to the sound of the door being hit coming from inside. Suddenly, he got up and returned to where he ca. He reached the house where the police had knocked earlier. At the door, a policeman was smoking a cigarette.
Tang Ye looked around, his figure swiftly hidden in the darkness, and he moved toward the house. Upon reaching a drainage pipe, he stopped and looked up, ensuring no one was watching. The next second, his body lted rapidly like an ice cream bar exposed under the scorching sun, and the ford liquid slipped into the drain.
Inside the house, several policen walked out from various rooms and saluted the chief policeman.
"Report, no contraband found."
The leading policeman was a blond man wearing sunglasses on his forehead, with one hand holding a baton and the other resting on the waist of his gun. He scanned the area before looking at the woman in front of him, the house owner.
"Officer, is there anything else?"
"In a hurry to kick us out?"
"No... Not at all... I..."
"Alright, cut the nonsense and take us to the second floor for a look."
"Ah?"
Panic flashed across the woman’s face, seen clearly by the chief policeman, who sneered.
"What? Unwilling?"
"No... No! You can’t go up."
"Sothing to hide?"
"It’s not like that!"
"We’ll just take a glance, if nothing’s unusual, we’ll leave imdiately."
"Upstairs... is my daughter’s bedroom! How can you n just go in?" The woman’s expression grew increasingly frantic, seen by the policen who exchanged glances, each subconsciously tightening grips on their batons. The more anxious she got about the second floor, the more they insisted on going!
The blond chief policeman rely glanced at the woman, said nothing, and pushed her away!
"Don’t block the way!"
The woman was pushed beside the wall as several policen rushed upstairs. At that mont, she couldn’t bother with anything else and imdiately shouted toward the second floor: "Run!"
"Not good!"
Her shout altered the policen’s faces, quickly followed by the sound of sothing shattering. The policen arrived at the second floor and saw a window in the third room with a hole smashed through it! The blond chief policeman rushed to the window and looked down; the nightti darkness revealed nothing.
"He escaped!"
"Ask the guys below if they saw him running in any direction. You, and you, search the house for clues."
Having commanded, the blond chief along with two others started searching the room, seeking evidence of cri. Among them, one policeman placed his baton on the table and quickly noticed a photo atop the bedside cabinet, showing a man with braids and a long-haired foreign woman in a picture together.
"This woman..."
"What’s wrong?"
"I think I know her..."
"Think hard."
The blond policeman patted the officer’s shoulder, and at this mont, another policeman downstairs shouted.
"We saw the suspect heading towards Lily Street!"
"You guys, chase him, don’t let him escape!" The blond policeman shouted loudly!
"Yes!" The other policen dared not slack off and imdiately turned to run downstairs.
"The rest, keep an eye on that woman!"
The two policen in the room hurriedly went outside, while the blond policeman pocketed the photo. Suddenly, he felt his back was wet; touching it, he found a pool of liquid...
