"We forgot to prepare food for the guest, hurry, go prepare so food!"

Bick said to his wife, then turned his gaze to Tang Ye and said in Chinese: "Are you hungry? We still have so food here, you can eat first to fill your stomach."

"Hm?"

Tang Ye took another look at the Bick couple, only then did he realize that the atmosphere had beco normal, just like the two tis before he had co. It wasn’t weird, but the sudden change made Tang Ye perceive normalcy as weird. But which scenario was really strange, and which was normal?

It all seed to change from the mont Dairya ca out.

He took out his cellphone to check the ti; it was just past three ten, still two hours away from Bick’s family’s real dinner ti. Yet their current behavior more seed like they were performing for sothing.

Speaking of performing, Tang Ye glanced at Dairya and then observed the Bick couple. Ariana looked at Dairya with nothing but adoration in her eyes, as if she wished she could keep her in her mouth, and Bick felt the sa. That expression seed genuine, hard to believe it was faked.

"Strange, what exactly is the problem?"

After Ariana passed Dairya to Bick, she went into the kitchen, and soon, the sound of cooking could be heard.

"Is she your daughter as well?" Tang Ye asked Bick, although he had asked this question already once.

"Yes, she’s my second daughter, I also have a son, who is just three years old."

"I see."

Tang Ye nodded, his gaze constantly observing Dairya, who was tilting her head to look back at him, her face void of any expression.

Soon, Ariana brought out two dishes from the kitchen, her face bearing a warm smile, and said sothing to Tang Ye that he did not understand. Luckily, with Bick translating, he soon said, "Go ahead, eat, no need to be polite with us."

Ariana handed a fork and knife to Tang Ye. He looked at the simple al on the table. Though much more humble than a normal dinner, it was still decent given the circumstances.

The behavior of Bick and his wife was strange, rapidly preparing such a "lavish" dinner for him seemingly out of nowhere—it felt suspicious. Of course, Tang Ye was not worried about them poisoning the food, unless it involved so rare and special evolved plants from during the Apocalypse. Otherwise, in the pre-apocalyptic world, no poison could harm zombies.

"Alright, thank you."

Tang Ye did not hesitate, picking up a fork and stuffing a large chunk of green mush into his mouth. The taste was passable, certainly not delicious, but as he trustingly ate, Bick and his wife exchanged glances, their thoughts unknown at that mont.

"Bick, we..."

Ariana, who had just picked up Dairya, suddenly spoke as if to remind Bick of sothing. Bick looked confused and then started talking with Ariana in their local language, which Tang Ye could not understand. Bick did not explain what it was about. After finishing their discussion, he said to Tang Ye, "Young man, we have sothing to attend to now. For a while, you’ll be left here alone."

Bick spoke as Ariana opened the children’s room behind him and called out to Gina inside. Shortly, Gina ca out holding her youngest brother, looking puzzledly at her mother.

"Hmm?"

Tang Ye was taken aback. Was Bick literally bringing his entire family along?

"Are you all going out together?" He asked uncertainly. The al they had just eaten was not poisoned, but he was even more perplexed about what Bick and his spouse were up to.

"Yes," Bick did not hide anything and nodded straightforwardly.

"You might be puzzled, but this matter concerns and my family, and has nothing to do with you. We will be back soon."

"Do you need my help?"

"No need, this matter is a bit complicated, and if you help us, you might get dragged into it as well. Don’t worry, we’ll be fine."

Bick said so, without explaining any reasons, then he led his wife and children out of the room. They seed in a hurry and were not worried about what Tang Ye might do in their house. It was excessive trust, but at the sa ti, it seed like Bick’s family was leaving Tang Ye, the outsider, behind and escaping to the external world.

"Everyone here is normal, maybe just Bick’s family is not, sigh, that’s most likely, after all, even if that kid might not be Dairya, they are still not simple."

Muttering to himself, Tang Ye originally wanted to keep an eye on what Bick’s family was doing outside, but after careful thought, he decided against it. It was only three thirty now, and there was still over two hours until they had to be back, which seed enough for Dairya’s family to return. He just didn’t know if Bick’s family had left the house the previous tis he had visited.

Besides, since he had already taken care of those seven soldiers, if nothing happens this ti and he returns clueless, honestly, Tang Ye had little respect for this Nightmare Zombie King!

Because this is simply unplayable! A ga, even if it is a ga, is still differentiated between excellent and garbage. A ga without a clear way to progress is nothing but a trash ga.

Confirming that Dairya’s family had indeed gone out, Tang Ye also stopped using these dishes. To zombies, these two plates of food were utterly disregarded.

Putting down the utensils in his hand, Tang Ye uttered, "Eh~", realizing now that this was his second visit to Dairya’s house and he seed to only move around in the living room.

The house where Dairya’s family lived was a standard two-room and one-hall, including a toilet in the kitchen. The most Tang Ye had ever road was just in the living room; he had never entered the two bedrooms, let alone knew the specific layout of the kitchen.

Thinking this, Tang Ye got up and first looked around the kitchen. Seeing nothing of interest, he then focused on the room belonging to Bick’s three children.

As the doorknob turned, Tang Ye smoothly opened the door. The room featured a large bed tightly cornered against the wall. Several long chairs were added next to one side of the bed to extend its surface area, seemingly just enough to sleep three people. Other than this bed, the only other furniture was a small table and a simple clothes rack, which had only a few clothes hanging on it.

On the table, it was completely empty except for a single thick book.
