Tang Ye’s gaze fixed on a building with a collapsed wall to his front left, a peculiar expression on his face. It wasn’t that he sensed sothing strange in the building; he rely slled the scent of living people.

However, for reasons unknown to him, he found the building sowhat familiar, as if he had seen it sowhere before.

Putting that aside for the mont, his perception of living beings was very vague right now. He couldn’t determine exactly how many people there were, but he was certain that there were not many inside the building—possibly just two, or even one.

From this, it was evident that there were survivors in this city, yet perhaps for certain reasons, just like the people in the post-apocalyptic world, they concealed themselves like rats. Tang Ye’s first thought was that during a certain ti period in this place, strange occurrences might happen, much like the violations of the Precedent Regulation; facing the consequences after violating it could include death!

"Right..."

Suddenly recalling sothing, Tang Ye first glanced at his clothes, which were the sa as before he’d arrived, and then reached into his pockets. Soon he felt a hard object and pulled it out—it was the cellphone he’d snatched up for zero yuan before coming here.

"Thank goodness it’s still here."

The expression on Tang Ye’s face was one of either relief or surprise. The next second, he turned on the cellphone. The screen lit up and he glanced at the ti displayed on the phone; it was twelve forty-three, midday, but...

Tang Ye looked towards the setting sun in the west. The sun was already descending, and the western horizon displayed a stretch of red clouds. Was this twelve o’clock?

He knew that the ti on the cellphone was incorrect now. This could be due to the angle of Earth’s rotational axis causing a ti discrepancy, or possibly a direct effect from Dairya causing a ti difference.

The current date displayed on the cellphone was October 11th, but in reality, the date here might not be the 11th. If he had indeed arrived here because of Dairya’s doing, then by logical deduction, he could very well be in Dairya’s hotown. This was because, from the mories he’d seen, the buildings there greatly resembled those here—intact in his mory, in contrast to the more massively damaged ones he perceived here, but the style was unmistakably the sa.

After putting the phone away, Tang Ye continued forward, but he hadn’t walked for very long when he suddenly stopped next to a pile of building rubble. He looked around at everything visible in his field of view and let out a puzzled "Huh!"

Pulling out his phone again to check, the ti was now one twenty-eight. Given his pace, while not fast, wasn’t slow either; in theory, he should have been able to cross a dium to small city entirely, yet in reality, he was still within this city!

In front of him, aside from buildings blackened by fire or ruined and desolate from destruction, there was also a wall that had collapsed halfway down. The wall was inscribed with various letters and words, so of which Tang Ye recognized and so he did not.

Seeing this wall, Tang Ye finally realized why the building he had seen earlier felt so familiar. It turned out that he had seen that very building the second he had entered this city, but he hadn’t recognized it at the ti—he had only felt a sense of familiarity!

No more need be said about the current situation. Tang Ye had returned to his original point!

"This..." This mont felt very familiar to Tang Ye, reminiscent of the ti he had chased the Corpse Dragon into the land of giant trees and encountered getting lost.

Looking up into the sky, whether it’s because of the strong sunlight or completely within Tang Ye’s control, his eyes narrowed slightly. The next mont, Tang Ye leaped up, a cloud of black fog billowing out from him as he flew upward.

He wanted to get a high-altitude view of what this city looked like. When he reached two hundred ters high, he looked out over the desolation that might have been caused by war. Instead of the scene Tang Ye had imagined before his eyes, he saw mountains in the distance, winding, ruined roads, a solitary town even farther away, and to the south, the glittering surface of what appeared to be a lake or sea.

"Just now..."

The sights didn’t alleviate Tang Ye’s confusion but instead deepened it. This was not the scenario he had thought of, with countless identical cities seamlessly connected—this city was this city alone, there were no others.

"I want to see what tricks are at play."

With a snort, Tang Ye, disbelieving of curses, flew towards the distance, attempting to leave the city. He transford his voice into a streak of black light, darting eastward at full speed. However, after a short flight, Tang Ye saw a figure in the sky ahead, maintaining the sa flying posture as himself.

"Who?"

Tang Ye was surprised, as the other party also had black fog billowing around them, seemingly holding them aloft, just like his own. But upon closer inspection, it was clearly one of his own abilities.

As Tang Ye stopped mid-air, the figure opposite did the sa—looking at him as he looked back. Gradually, Tang Ye sensed sothing and continued to move forward. The mysterious person opposite did the sa, flying towards him simultaneously.

"Could it be..."

To verify if his intuition was correct, Tang Ye suddenly stopped, and the other did the sa, coming to a halt in mid-air.

"Why is this happening?"

Tang Ye was confused, but one thing was clear—the other entity was no threat because it was himself.

Tang Ye surged forward, pushing his speed to the limit. Quickly he rged with the opposite figure, and as he had thought, the person was himself. However, it was a mirror image, identical in appearance but reversed from left to right because of the mirror effect.

He stretched out a hand, and his mirror image did the sa, the expressions identical. Soon, when Tang Ye’s raised hand touched the other’s, in the next second, this "mirror" Tang Ye’s form rapidly beca transparent before vanishing right before his eyes!

Snapping back to reality, Tang Ye looked down and realized that sohow, he had returned to the starting point again!

Looking up once more to the front, there were the sa mountains, the sa battered walls, the hazy town in the distance, and the indistinct watery expanse, gleaming with the sunlight’s reflection as it flickered with phosphorescence.

Two ters below his feet on the ground, there was the familiar wall covered in various graffitied words, as well as the building behind him.
