Tang Ye imdiately spun around, lifting the candle higher. As the light spread out in front, he noticed that the candlelight seed to diffuse strangely ahead. Curious, he moved closer, with Lu Xiaojie following with a mix of curiosity. However, when they both saw what was ahead, Lu Xiaojie was completely taken aback!
"Run!"
The walls on both sides of the corridor they had co through were starting to close together, the imnse silhouettes creating "bang bang bang" noises as the decorations on the walls were crushed into powder!
After letting out a scream, Lu Xiaojie began to sprint for her life, and watching her figure, Tang Ye had so thoughts.
"It seems the cost of dying once is a bit too steep."
Without hesitation, he followed Lu Xiaojie and ran forward, but her speed as an ordinary person was too slow. The walls were closing in fast, and soon the gap closed significantly.
"Hey, into the rooms!"
They passed countless room doors, thinking that Lu Xiaojie would evade into a room, but perhaps in her panic, her mind had beco muddled, and she did not think of this.
After hearing Tang Ye’s voice, Lu Xiaojie imdiately replied, "Do you think I don’t want to go in? If we go in, we’re done for!"

He wasn’t sure what would happen if he went inside, and although nothing threatening had appeared from the mont he entered until now, it didn’t an there was no danger for him here. PS: I didn’t update yesterday, mainly because I didn’t have the ti. It’s the Lunar New Year, after all, and a lot of relatives ca to my ancestral ho. I don’t usually see so many relatives during the New Year, so this Spring Festival is quite lively. I even got nagged by nurous aunts and uncles to go on blind dates, which is kind of funny when I think about it.
The main point is, it’s okay to have many relatives and friends over for the New Year, but there are just too many kids. During the day and at night, a large group sits in the main room, including kids from the neighbors, essentially stuffing my house full. How should I put it? These past few days have been too noisy for as an author, and I can’t write. During the day, we played tag, and at night, it was tag again; the voices of children were constantly in my ears all day, and so children, tired of playing, bugged to use my computer, and so of my cousins took my computer to watch TV. I can’t refuse without feeling petty, especially with other relatives around, it doesn’t feel right to drive people out. Moreover, so of these kids are even a generation older than !!
I am indeed quite frustrated. In the evening, it’s even worse: with too many people and not enough beds, three or four people have to share one bed. Late at night, dreaming and slling soone’s foot odor... ugh~
Plus, these few days with various relatives like sons-in-law, uncles, and great-uncles drinking and dining, door-to-door visits with gifts, eating seven or eight als a day, and on top of the kids ntioned before, although there was plenty of play, the quiet tis were interrupted by waves of visitors chatting around , with various reasons leading to my lack of ti for writing these two days.
