"Move aside, don’t make say it twice."
Tang Ye’s voice echoed in the space, the non-commissioned officer standing behind the soldiers twisted his face and finally let out an angry roar: "Open fire! Kill him!"
The mont his voice rang out, the surrounding soldiers hesitated, but still activated the Annihilation Whales, with muzzle large enough to fit a basketball emitting a blinding red light, warming the air around them.
Row upon row of indicator lights on the muzzle lit up, all flashing dangerous red signals!
In an instant, a thick red beam tore through everything, overshadowing all other colors, red above everything else; the walls began to redden, and then they lted, dripping down, many soldiers had not seen the result, as their exoskeleton armor turned red first, and screams of agony rose!
The thick beam of light forged ahead, lting everything in its path like a long spear thrown down by a deity, penetrating deep into the earth!
After penetrating about two to three ters, it seed as if the thick laser fired by the Annihilation Whales hit an iron plate, and abruptly stopped.
The soldiers in front hastily retreated to escape the high temperature, the beams from three Annihilation Whales tangled together, one could imagine the scene!
In the entire space, only the surging flas churned, capable of swallowing anyone at any mont.
"He didn’t dodge?"
"Is he dead?"
"He should be dead, right?" said the non-commissioned officer uncertainly, wiping the beads of sweat from his forehead involuntarily, he let out a slight sigh of relief, his eyes filled with anticipation.
The attack from the three Annihilation Whales lasted a while, and when the energy storage ended, what was left was a giant pit almost half the size of a basketball court, with magma flowing underneath, chilling to the bone at the sight, no one wanted to get close to that flowing red liquid!
As the smoke gradually dispersed, the hopeful expressions on the soldiers’ faces slowly solidified, then distorted into fear!
"He’s... not dead? Not even a hair hard?"
In everyone’s eyes, the figure stood firmly where the three Annihilation Whales concentrated their fire, not a single hair curled; his clothes were as tidy and sleek as before, as if during the Annihilation Whales’ attack, he wasn’t even there, perhaps sitting leisurely in a café having a coffee before leisurely walking back.
Tang Ye looked at the non-commissioned officer hiding behind the soldiers, his tone calm: "Should I call you stupid, or loyal?"
Before the non-commissioned officer could speak, a woman’s exclamation suddenly erupted from the other side: "Don’t be rash!"
Along with this figure, no one had the chance to ask into the air, "Who’s there?" before people saw a figure flash across the sky like lightning, directly charging towards Tang Ye!
The blade glead insanely in people’s eyes, its cold light eclipsing everything, crashing down heavily from the heights!
"Seeking death!"
Tang Ye extended his hand directly to et the war blade slashing at him!
Boom!
With a loud bang, the whole space shook violently, and just as it seed to quiet down, a new wave of tremors ca from above, the battle there was heating up!
Cracks began to appear on the floor, and within monts, they rapidly split into separate chunks of rubble, which were sent flying upwards by the shaking ground, as if gravity had reversed, leaving the ceiling pocked with one crater after another!
A cloud of dust obscured the vision of many, making it impossible to see what was happening with Tang Ye.
However, many could no longer see, as during the violent shaking, so unlucky soldiers were knocked unconscious by the falling rocks.
A series of noises caused a lot of the internal equipnt in the research institute to destabilize and explode. Amidst the thick smoke, a figure flew out, created a long trench on the ground, and then lay still, with a mouthful of blood and not even the strength to spit it out. As his body relaxed, there were no more signs of life.
"Damn it!"
The woman cursed under her breath, and although her voice was soft, Tang Ye still heard her.
Thinking that Tang Ye hadn’t noticed her, the woman was about to leave, but she didn’t realize how obvious her figure was in Tang Ye’s eyes; the colors on her body had completely betrayed her.
So just as she began to move, the woman suddenly felt a tightness around her neck, as if a hand, strong as iron pincers, was gripping her tightly!
She instinctively struggled, but to her surprise, she found that her body seed not to obey her commands, and the movents she wanted to perform didn’t co to pass.
As she turned her head abruptly to look at the owner of the hand, she saw the man’s eyes less than half a ter away from her own.
Before she could speak, she felt an incomparable strength from the hand on her neck, a force she was absolutely unable to resist!
The expression on her face turned incredulous, and then gradually morphed into extre fear as she struggled to say sothing that she never had the chance to finish: "You are a Nin..."
Just three words, rely three words, and the woman’s voice abruptly stopped. Rather than being killed by Tang Ye, the expression on her face suggested she was scared to death!
Throwing the corpse aside, Tang Ye looked at the crooked doors ahead, took a plastic bag out of his pocket, put the opening to his mouth, and gulped down all the Evolution Crystals inside to replenish his vitality, then he headed toward the place that he could not sense.
The battle above continued, causing the ground under Tang Ye’s feet to shake violently from ti to ti.
He didn’t care about these, forcibly dismantling all the surrounding self-defense systems, like a ghost town, he moved step by step toward his destination.
Soldiers who hadn’t even put on all their equipnt tried to stop him, but they were sent flying before they could even see him, struck by an invisible force, leaving them either dead or injured.
Before long, Tang Ye saw a black-purple wall in front of him.
"What is this material?"
Tang Ye’s hand touched the wall, feeling its strange texture, sothing he had never encountered before, and while the wall was not of good quality and could be broken by ordinary people with tools, its hardness was not the key feature – it was the ability to block the sensory perception of zombies.
So Tang Ye wondered?
Who would think of doing this?
Whether Su Sigui knew this or not was unclear, but others probably didn’t realize that high-level zombies had this sensing ability. What reason would soone have to build a wall specifically targeting zombie perception?
"Is it one of their own kind?"
Tang Ye thought for a mont, then shook his head. Rather than indulging in conjecture, he preferred to straightforwardly use his own eyes to see the truth.
