She took off her backpack, pulled out a few Evolution Crystals, and tossed the remaining bag to the stall owner, saying, "The minimum is thirteen thousand, right? There’s sixteen thousand here. I’m taking these few crystals, and the Evolution Crystals inside are worth more than thirteen thousand in Yajin."
"Really?" the owner asked skeptically, picking up the backpack Xu ngyun had thrown over, opening it to take a look. In an instant, several eyes were drawn towards him, so gleaming with a greedy glint!
A Yajin transaction worth over ten thousand had probably never been witnessed by many onlookers before, causing their hearts to tremble.
Perhaps sensing the unusual atmosphere around him, the owner’s gaze swept the crowd swiftly. Many hastily averted their eyes; despite his unfamiliar appearance, he was a Level 7 New Human! Unless the market’s managent intervened, no one dared to focus on the seller anymore.
Thus, under the owner’s warning gaze, several covert glances directed at Xu ngyun; even without seeing them, the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end from the greedy stares!
However, the owner seed uninterested in what might happen to Xu ngyun next. He was solely interested in the Evolution Crystals in the bag, having opened it and glanced at the colorful crystals inside, among them a few green ones, clearly of high value. He weighed them, clearly accustod to handling Evolution Crystals, and after estimating their worth in Yajin, he said contently to Xu ngyun, "Okay, take them. I don’t offer any after-sales service here. Whatever happens to you next is not my concern. But out of kindness, I advise you not to leave this market without certainty, your Evolution Crystals might get you so bodyguards."
"Thanks for the advice."
Xu ngyun replied with a smile, her expression revealing little concern.
"You can keep the backpack."
The owner nodded, placing the backpack at his feet and then handed her a rolled-up zombie skin.
Just as Xu ngyun caught it, the owner’s expression changed dramatically, saying hastily, "What’s going on? Why are so many people still staring at you?"
"What?" This ti, it wasn’t Xu ngyun who was stunned, but Tu-E!
It took him a mont to realize that all attention was on the zombie skin in Xu ngyun’s hands, not just the skin itself, but what was rolled up inside it!
After saying this, the owner grabbed the backpack and ran, leaving the other items on the stand behind. The bystanders were too slow to react, and before they could even think to grab his goods, several strong auras of New Humans erged in their senses. Everyone there was smart enough to understand what was happening, and no one dared to snatch anything from the stall owner—they sprinted away instantly!
"Damn it!"
Tu-E scread in shock. All this ti, he hadn’t noticed that, in addition to himself, other Level 8 New Human Powerhouses were targeting Xu ngyun. Even if New Humans had taken blockers to conceal their aura, zombies should have been able to detect them, but he hadn’t sensed anything amiss. Probably, those guys had taken high-grade blockers, indicating how much importance they placed on whatever purifiers they sought!
He instantly alerted others and then turned around, rushing towards Xu ngyun’s location!
But he was still a step too late. After Xu ngyun frequently entered this trading area, many stronghouses had already been waiting here, just not sure.
"Act first, grab that zombie skin over, and talk about other things later!"
"Go!"
In an instant, the building enveloping the entire trading area collapsed massively. Several Level 8 New Humans appeared, exuding strong blood auras. rely touching the surrounding objects lightly caused them to shatter into pieces, as if they were freshly made soft tofu.
Xu ngyun’s face changed, but she remained fairly composed. She had considered that this might happen and had prepared herself accordingly. She imdiately shouted into the sky, "Mr. Five! Mr. Three!"
Following her call, two figures appeared—one wielding a samurai sword and the other dragging a huge axe. Both were Level 8 New Humans, each wearing an R-alloy mask, one a tiger and the other a snarling human. Together, they launched an attack, stirring up a chaotic storm with a wave of their hands, blocking several Level 8 Powerhouses who were already charging towards Xu ngyun.
As if the strength of gods collided, so unfortunate ones who hadn’t escaped the range were thrown out by the storm—so were alive; others, due to severe impact, vomited blood and died!
Just one collision turned the large building into ruins, and the nearby structures were affected, symbolically shaking a few tis before collapsing with a thunderous roar!
And Xu ngyun herself was thrown back, crashing through two walls and bleeding from the mouth. She didn’t have ti to tend to the severe pain extending from her abdon to her chest. She crawled out from the rubble and imdiately started running. Soone noticed her action and imdiately broke free to chase after her, but was quickly stopped by the one with the giant axe!
"Who are you? Why are you helping her?"
"That question, you’ll know when you’re dead!"
"Do you think we need to answer you?" said the Level 8 New Human with the giant axe. He was tall and muscular, and his Chinese wasn’t very fluent, sounding awkward like a foreigner; although it was subtle, the opposing stronghouses still noticed. Although his identity was unclear, there was no doubt he was a foreign stronghouse. As for the other, his Chinese didn’t sound odd and even had a bit of dialect. His physique was similar to theirs, and it was unclear who he was, but the samurai sword he held indicated he was from that region.
And Tu-E was very certain that the one with the samurai sword was Kimura Arata, who had clashed a few tis with Chu Zha.
As for the other, he didn’t know who he was; the impact wasn’t very profound.
Two Level 8s against four Level 8s—it was impossible to win, but if it was just about holding them back, that could be manageable. Their fighting style was wild, not aiming to win but to hold the opposing force’s feet, preventing these four Level 8 Powerhouses from leaving the area.
Watching Xu ngyun start her escape, they couldn’t help feeling anxious, trying every way to shake off these two damned fellows, but the more they panicked, the more mistakes they made.
Tu-E didn’t stay here either, following Xu ngyun’s fleeing figure.
"She didn’t go to that courtyard, watch my position!"
Feeling his companion was already rushing this way, Tu-E said, now Xu ngyun’s direction had changed, seemingly intending to further distance herself from that children’s Shelter.
