After entering the giant rock, it seed the soldiers stationed there did not expel them, they rely ntioned a few precautions before departing from the area.

Ding~

A large chanical door far to their left opened, and a large group of people erged, chatting noisily as they walked outward. However, when they caught sight of Su Sigui and her companions, one of them cast a glance their way, sizing them up, but did not linger for long and left with the crowd.

And Su Sigui’s gaze t that person’s! Her eyes followed the direction of the stranger’s gaze, but once the person was far away, she no longer focused on him; to continue doing so would be very impolite.

However, she did not recognize the person, yet it seed they knew her—who could it be?

Suppressing the doubts in her heart, Su Sigui led Yan Xing and others forward. She knew that the chanical door that had just opened must be the elevator leading to "Sacred Summit," but she did not want to ascend just yet. She wanted to uncover the secrets within this "giant rock."

The surroundings were adorned with steampunk decor, seamlessly connected pieces of steel that gave off an amazing feeling of being in a sci-fi world. Dim yellow lights on the ground and in two rows on the ceiling illuminated the path ahead.

No one stopped their exploration, even the passing squads of soldiers glanced at Su Sigui and her party but seed indifferent, as if there were no secrets hidden within the giant rock. However, as they ventured deeper, people no longer passed by and the steampunk "decor" slowly vanished. The light no longer illuminated the path ahead, and the singular corridor branched into several, leaving them uncertain which way to proceed.

The absence of steel decorations also allowed them to see the giant rock’s original inner walls—a strange sight. The walls were covered with many lines that resembled fibers of flesh, yet they felt just like stone to the touch, increasing Su Sigui’s curiosity.

The more she saw, the more she felt she had seen this giant rock sowhere before but could not be certain or verify if it was indeed that particular object. If it truly was, the implication of people living here was astounding!

The giant rock was enormous, and Su Sigui possessed acute spatial awareness. They had walked for so ti, yet she estimated they hadn’t even traversed one-thousandth of the rock’s diater.

The surrounding environnt was completely engulfed in darkness. However, all five in Su Sigui’s group were high-tier new humans, none below Level 8, and their exceptional night vision allowed them to wander freely in this pitch-black environnt without fear of losing their way.

But soon, they encountered a barrier, or rather, a warning sign. If one were to force their way past, this sign alone could stop not just ordinary people.

A blood-red warning sign before them gave a startling impression. As Su Sigui and her companions approached, the path ahead began to slope downward, the darkness ahead nearly obscuring their vision!

"Mayor? Should we go down?"

A burly man nad Yao Gong hesitated to ask, feeling an aversion to descending. The road descending into the depths was invisible to them, and the darkness seed to harbor so unknown, dangerous creature, causing an involuntary shiver down their spines.

He wasn’t the only one with this foreboding feeling; Yan Xing, Xu Tianyu, and the others shared it.

Likewise, their sixth sense continuously sent them dangerous signals from below, as though a hoarse voice was warning them never to descend. Together with the blood-red warning sign, it was truly eerie.

Su Sigui was silent for a while, her gaze focused on the narrowing, seemingly endless downward path. Her eyes seed to glimpse the monstrous creatures lurking in the darkness below.

Their eyes opened, blood-red sclera and crimson pupils, clashing with her own gaze!

After a mont of silence, Su Sigui nodded, "Let’s go, back."

Her tone was light, but upon hearing her words, everyone collectively sighed in relief. Indeed, the unknown always instills fear, even in them, the Level 8 new human powerhouses. Only the ergence of Level 9 could pose a challenge to their kind, anything less was difficult.

The group started walking back, the blood-red warning sign slowly disappearing until it was completely out of sight.

When they arrived at the first intersection they had encountered, Su Sigui stopped. She faced a nearby stone block, her hand raised, caressing its surface as if to affirm sothing.

The downward path that faded out of sight gave her a feeling of great danger, a sensation she was all too familiar with. Such an impression usually resulted from one of two reasons: firstly, the presence of nurous beings that could threaten a Level 8 new human powerhouse, and secondly, the presence of a more formidable terror than Level 8.

What could be more formidable than Level 8?

Of course, it would be the Zombie King level!

Su Sigui’s eyes narrowed, signaling extre caution.

Her hands didn’t stop moving over the wall, which resembled sinews of flesh. She murmured softly, "This is incredible..."

After voicing this thought, an oppressive silence enveloped the group. Within Su Sigui’s mind, a voice echoed, one that felt remote in ti and distance as if coming from a very old radio with static—hard to make out but just discernible.

"Following reports from Longyuan rcenary Group, the Chinese Zombie King has been sighted again! The first confird sighting was in Zhulai City, within the northern Russian territory. Could the Zombie King have been hiding in the north all these years?"

"Does the Northern Empire really exist? This question has captured our attention again."

"After multiple investigations, the Chinese White-haired Zombie King is moving westward. The route taken has been preliminarily confird."

"Cloud Gorge Daily reports multiple survivor bases in Province A have been attacked by the Lan Ou Corpse King. Upon investigation, Cheng Hong, Fu Ji, Chi Cheng Jiang Han, Xu Zhi, Yu Long Lake, Xu Changyan, Juan Ren Persistence, South City, Red Snow, and a total of twenty-one bases have fallen. It is impossible to determine the Lan Ou Nightmare Zombie King’s route, so nearby survivor bases are urged to prepare for evacuation to the nearest survivor base for assistance."

There have been reports from various places of sightings of followers of the Zombie King. Lie Feng, the Capturer, Disease, Cancer, Skirmish, River God, and other Zombie King followers have appeared in the Northeast and South China areas. Other continental Zombie Kings have started to enter the Chinese Continent. What will be the fate of the Chinese Continent?"
