When Tang Ye arrived at Hatred’s residence, the locals had already been driven away by the soldiers of the Peace Party. Hatred’s humble bungalow was nestled deep within an alley, flanked by towering skyscrapers. Squeezed between the two massive buildings, the bungalow spent most of its days in shadow, seldom touched by sunlight.

Many people didn’t understand why Hatred chose such a place, but everyone has their preferences, and no one questioned or thought too much about it. However, the senior mbers of the Peace Party knew sothing about Hatred.

This guy had witnessed his relatives endure humiliation and his family destroyed several years ago, which caused significant emotional trauma and led to his abnormal behavior. That’s why Hatred had hardly anyone he could relate to within the Peace Party.

After all, who would like to deal with soone so dreary? Of course, a few inhuman mbers of the Peace Party were willing to exchange a few words with Hatred.

At the entrance of the bungalow, soldiers were already stationed. Seeing Tang Ye arrive, they shouted "Marshal" to express their respect.

Tang Ye walked in and furrowed his brows at the sight of the interior, even though he knew where Hatred lived, this was his first ti seeing the inside.

In the living room of the small bungalow, besides a single-seater sofa, there was no other furniture. Glass vessels were visible all around the walls, but most were shattered on the floor with their contents seeping out, emitting a hard-to-describe sll in the air.

"It’s formalin," a soldier remarked, shrugging his nose.

Tang Ye looked around. The walls were neatly lined with glass vessels. Apart from those, the entire living room was just like that. Besides the broken glass vessels, many intact ones bubbled with contents, and as Tang Ye approached for a closer look, a nearby soldier said, "Marshal, these contain human organs."

"All of them?"

"Not all, so are from zombies; others are from animals."

"Okay," Tang Ye nodded, continuing to look around. Indeed, the room contained human organs, and Hatred was not a researcher in this area. The presence of these items in his residence was clearly not for use but for collection.

From the multiple identical organs seen in the glass vessels, Tang Ye could infer they likely belonged to his enemies. The room, filled with various organs, involuntarily sent shivers down one’s spine.

"Marshal, co with ,"

said a soldier, pointing towards a room. Tang Ye nodded and followed the soldier towards that room.

Pushing open the door, the room’s walls were significantly damaged, and it also contained glass vessels with organs, but the organs in these vessels looked strange, likely not human but from so creatures.

"Marshal, these contain the organs of evolved beasts. We’ve secured the scene, and from what we can tell, General Hatred was indeed captured and severely injured. Right."

Tang Ye remained silent, his gaze fixing on the disturbing cracks in the walls and the trampled footprints on the floor.

In the center of the room, three footsteps lay in a pool of formalin, one of them broken into three pieces.

Of course, Tang Ye recognized these as the offensive organs Hatred grew when he transford into a Restwalker. Clearly, soone had violently ripped them off his back.

Then, his gaze moved to the heavily damaged window, the fra knocked out, revealing a nearby building’s wall that was forcefully breached—clearly, the damage went through more than one wall.

"Marshal, I ca imdiately when Hatred was attacked, but I didn’t catch the perpetrator."

Tang Ye remained silent, seemingly pondering sothing.

Now, it seed that from the disappearance of Huang Quanjiu and Ruan Chao’en, the factory monster incident, to the trouble with Hatred, everything was orchestrated by the sa person, who kidnapped Ruan Chao’en and Huang Quanjiu but did not leave and remained lurking in the United District.

Thinking of this, Tang Ye once again extended his senses to cover the entire United District, scanning all the powerhouses present.

His brow furrowed slightly; his senses captured nothing unusual—the instigator seed nonexistent.

"Increase manpower in the search operation, scour the entire United District, inside and out, and if anyone detected has consud the blocking agent, bring them in without hesitation."

"Yes!"

The soldier nodded. Tang Ye, no longer speaking, walked out and stared at the sky while always sensing a moldy sll, typical of damp, dark areas.

"This is problematic."

At that mont, Tang Ye felt a surge of rage building inside him. He wanted to vent but didn’t know where to direct it, feeling suffocated and irritable, gradually breeding a vindictive spirit!

...

With the Peace Party intensifying their investigation, the entire United District was in a tense state. Many new humans who had consud the blocking agent were arrested, and for a ti, the blocking agent seed like a forbidden substance across the district. The ntion of it struck fear into many.

Even though the United District was in such a state, the mastermind behind everything remained unobtrusive. Just within a week, nurous Level 6 powerhouses vanished consecutively, and yet, no one had seen the perpetrator, causing everyone in the district to panic, fearing they might be the next unfortunate victim.

Because no one knew who the person was, it was as if he didn’t exist at all, and the unknown always stretched people’s fears to the maximum.

Sowhere in the United District, Zhou Ranjun leaped up, gliding around, occasionally landing on the ground like a madman, looking left and right, possibly upset by sothing, and then, in an instant, his power as a Level 6 New Human erupted, blowing the roof off a building. The people inside scread as they ran out, while so unlucky ones were literally buried under the collapsing structure.

"Yujie, where are you!"

Tears in his eyes, Zhou Ranjun charged headfirst into the about-to-collapse building.
