The blood-colored Evolution Crystal produced from the silver-armored zombie’s body was extrely popular in the survivor’s base, but the Evolution Crystal of the silver-armored zombie was not consumable by the new humans, otherwise, they would turn into silver-armored zombies.
The reason for the popularity of the blood-colored Evolution Crystal in human society wasn’t just due to the difficulty in obtaining it compared to ordinary Evolution Crystals. The main reason was that it boosted the energy supply in weapons requiring anti-life matter by three to five tis more than normal Evolution Crystals, and because of its uniqueness, it was the best material for mory tal, possessing toughness far beyond ordinary H steel.
However, this thing, Yaztec, did not need. The so-called blood-colored Evolution Crystals were only needed by the scientists working at the survivor’s base, and in the absence of equipnt, neither blood-colored nor ordinary Evolution Crystals could be converted into Yajin.
What he needed right now was to escape!
Just after cutting off his own leg to avoid infection, a Level 4 fla silver-armored zombie appeared the next second. Putting aside the disadvantage humans had against zombies, even if Yaztec still had his leg, he couldn’t have killed this Level 4 silver-armored zombie in a short ti.
Moreover, now that Yaztec had lost a leg, his combat ability was significantly reduced, and he was less capable of dealing with a Level 4 zombie!
Thus, the mont he saw the Level 4 zombie, Yaztec’s first reaction was to run! Run as fast as possible! Sprint with all his might, carrying Telos and the cara equipnt that had captured the Zombie King, even if it ant running with one leg!
Almost as soon as Telos’s voice dropped, Yaztec leaped up three ters and reached the equipnt with unprecedented speed. He grabbed it with one hand while hurling Telos on his back with the other, freeing a hand to use as a prop. With one leg gone, Yaztec shot out like a gecko, covering a dozen ters in a flash!
The Level 4 fla silver-armored zombie, seeing Yaztec trying to escape, roared and, moving its limbs, charged towards Yaztec through a cloud of dust!
"Teacher, hold on, we’ll be fine!" Feeling Telos’s breath growing weaker on his back, Yaztec couldn’t help expressing his worry, but Telos behind him didn’t speak, only gasping heavily, his forehead continuously sweating cold sweat due to severe pain.
Possibly because he was in a dire, dangerous situation, Yaztec’s latent potential fully erupted; even having lost a leg, his speed assisted by one hand in running was formidable. He periodically glanced at the giant over forty ters tall nearby, whose mountain-like body made his heart tremble with each look!
And behind, the Level 4 zombie was still closely following, with just fifty ters separating Yaztec from it.
"Be careful ahead."
At that mont, Telos weakly cautioned him, and Yaztec also noticed that up ahead was a main street filled with silver-armored zombies exuding flas. His only option was to jump to another large building!
He had no ti for ntal preparation, couldn’t fear the chasm! Likewise, he couldn’t slow down! He had no choice!
"Ah!"
With a mighty shout, in just a few seconds, he reached the edge of the building. Without any hesitation and with one hand boosting his efforts, and one leg tucked in, Yaztec, carrying Telos and the equipnt, leaped into the air!
Thump!
A muffled sound, and Yaztec was fortunate to land on the building across the street. Before he could catch his breath, the other side’s Level 4 silver-armored zombie also roared and jumped up, but without Yaztec’s decisiveness, it fell short in its leap and its feet did not firmly land on the opposite building.
Yaztec felt his heart jump to his throat as he watched the giant, standing five or six ters tall, gradually fall in mid-air, shouting inside his head, "Fall down! Fall down!"
However, fate did not grant his wish, as the other party failed to land steadily on the rooftop like himself, but a zombie claw had firmly grasped onto the edge of the building!
"Die!"
The next second, a fierce look flashed across Yaztec’s eyes as he prepared to step forward and kick the creature off, but Telos quickly stopped him!
"Forget him! Let’s move!"
Telos’s words tightened Yaztec’s chest as he quickly looked behind, feeling a chill run down his spine!
In the direction Yaztec was looking, there was soone maniacally smashing the surrounding silver-armored zombies with the high tower crane used for building construction!
The crane operator had bloodshot eyes; the iron hook was dripping with blood, covered with the mangled flesh of the silver-armored zombies, and below on the ground, several bodies of silver-armored zombies lay, with others slowly resurrecting from death!
Upon spotting the Level 4 silver-armored zombie following Yaztec and Telos, the crane operator, almost ignoring the two living humans, directly swung the large iron hook toward the Level 4 silver-armored zombie!
"There’s soone!"
Yaztec shouted, but the other person obviously didn’t hear him. Left with no choice, Yaztec had to roll to the side as the iron hook scraped past his skin, stirring up a bone-chilling gust of wind.
The Level 4 silver-armored zombie that had just climbed onto the rooftop hadn’t even taken a step forward when the iron hook smashed its face, filled with cracks, causing flesh and blood to scatter everywhere! Its colossal body fell backwards off the rooftop.
Seeing this, Yaztec’s heart leapt with joy, thinking they were temporarily safe, but before one turmoil settled, another arose. Right after the Level 4 silver-armored zombie was smashed by the iron hook and fell off the rooftop, three more silver-armored zombies climbed up, steadied themselves, and roared at them with their gaping mouths!
The bone spikes on their bodies trembled again, and the mountain of bone spurs on their backs swayed as if they were about to break off and shoot Yaztec and Telos into a hornet nest!
But before they could shoot out any bone spikes, the sa iron hook that had just flung the Level 4 silver-armored zombie struck again from the sky!
A Level 2 silver-armored zombie was instantly smashed into pieces, splattering Yaztec’s face with thick, sticky blood and flesh!
"There’s soone!"
Seeing the operator on the crane swing the hook down again, Yaztec desperately yelled in Russian, but it had no effect; the person on the crane couldn’t understand a word he was saying!
As these flaming silver-armored zombies got smashed to pieces, their magma-like blood heated the ground red-hot, causing the temperature to keep rising, and parts of the large iron hook on the crane even turned red-hot, severely corroded in so areas!
The iron hook was relentless, ignoring whatever was happening on the rooftop. The crane operator, intent only on killing another silver-armored zombie, disregarded Yaztec’s shouts and swung the iron hook toward another target without hesitation, and the path of the hook alarmingly included Yaztec!
