With Chitanda's permission, Satoshi changed his shoes into indoor slippers and then followed her to one of the rooms inside her house. While Kaho's place was imnse, Chitanda's place was on another level, but considering her place was a Japanese mansion, it was understandable. But he had to say it felt a bit cold, considering this place was built to make it feel cool and less humid during the sumr.
In the winter, one could make everything warm with just more clothes, but in the sumr, it was impossible to escape the heat and humidity; thus, the Japanese house was built with the intention of escaping the sumr.
"Stay here, Satoshi. It's warm here."

"I thought that you would have a servant or two."
Even Kaguya had many maids, butlers, and even drivers in her ho to serve her daily for her life in Tokyo, so it wouldn't be weird for Chitanda to have one or two, right?

Every house had its own rules, so Satoshi didn't say much, but then again, as they entered the kitchen, it was pretty peaceful.

Turning on the stove, Chitanda started to boil the water. She took out a teapot and put it in the box that kept the tea leaves. Everything was done casually, as if she were used to it.
