"How was Tokyo, Fuku-chan?"
In the clubroom of the Classic Club, Oreki, Ibara, Chitanda, and Satoshi gathered together as they enjoyed the souvenirs brought by Satoshi from Tokyo.
Satoshi's trip to Tokyo wasn't a secret for the mbers of the Classic Club, and as expected, even Oreki, who had always tried to uphold his motto, "Energy Saver," was also curious about Tokyo.
For those who ca from the countryside, the big city had always been seen as sothing grand, a place where they could achieve all of their dreams, so knowing that Satoshi went to Tokyo, it was impossible for them not to be curious, especially when he also brought so many souvenirs.
Yet, if there was sothing that impressed them, it was how Satoshi never revealed or tried to show off that he had gone to Tokyo. If it was a normal high school student, they would tell everyone that they had gone to Tokyo, showing their achievent as if they had conquered the world, yet this guy was so low-key and seed like... it was like this trip was nothing special for him, which made them feel curious.
"Well..."
As Satoshi ate the Baumkuchen, he looked at Ibara and asked, "What do you want to know?"
"What is your impression of Tokyo?"
"Well, there are a lot of people, high buildings, and everyone is busy."
"Busy?" Oreki's eyebrows quickly raised when he heard that word.
"Even if it is midnight or dawn, it is bright on the outside. It might appear beautiful, but at the sa ti, it is also shown that even during that ti, many people are still working." Satoshi looked at the three and asked, "So, what do you think of those working at those tis?"
"..." 3x
"...it's horrible." Chitanda could only say that since the night was a ti for sleeping, and yet one tried to wake up and work, what would happen?
The best thing was that nothing happened, but in the worst case, one would be sick since, at night, a body should be resting instead of during the day. Even so, it would be great if one could sleep during the day, but what if one couldn't sleep at all?
"But that place also has a lot of opportunities, but only the lucky ones, and if you aren't the chosen one, then sorry, you can only live on the street."
"..." 3x
"...why does Tokyo sound like a dystopia in your mouth?" Oreki was speechless.
"It's just that I think every place is the sa; there are good and bad points. If you want more opportunity, then go to Tokyo, but if you are fine with the way we are, then just stay."
"Then, have you thought about moving to Tokyo, Fukube-san?" Chitanda asked with a hint of worry in her eyes.
"Hmm... I am not sure. Takayama is a great place, and my family is here, so unless I am forced to, I won't move."
"What kind of situation will force you to move?"
"Such as not being able to find a job?"
"You are a mangaka who has his manga serialized during the first year of high school. What are you worried about?" Oreki felt that Satoshi was overthinking things.
"Well, then, you should study hard to beco a civil servant, Houtaro."
"Why should I beco a civil servant?"
When Oreki frowned, Satoshi said, "It's the most stable, and you won't have to be afraid to be laid off."
"Hmm...."
Oreki suddenly fell silent, rubbing his chin, thinking that Satoshi's words had a certain truth. The economy was like this, and even his parents often told him that their jobs weren't permanent. While the country wouldn't let so companies beco bankrupt, in the countryside like Takayama, he could imagine that the country would be focused on those companies that had offices in big cities such as Tokyo or Osaka.
"Well, going to Tokyo is a good experience, though. I recomnd that you go."
"What kind of a place did you visit, Fuku-chan?"
While Satoshi wanted to tell everything, he knew that he couldn't, especially about his trip to Tokyo Disney Land. If he said that he went there, it was natural that they would be in doubt, wondering why he went to such a popular the park alone, right?
Instead, he told them how he went to the electronics store, a good food, and the Tokyo Tower.
"Did you take a picture?"
"Sorry, no, I am just looking around, and I am not in the mood to take a picture."
"What kind of a mood did you take a trip there?"
"Er... a journey of life?"
"...it sounded like you are a monk who is on a trip to seek enlightennt."
"Hahaha... you might be right."
Oreki was speechless at Satoshi's laugh. "So, did you find enlightennt?"
"I did."
"Oh, what is it?" Oreki was curious, and naturally, Ibara and Chitanda were the sa.
"Everything needs money."
"....." 3x
"It's expensive there."
"..." 3x
"If I stay there, I am afraid that I will be poor soon."
"Enough! Enough! Don't tell us such a truth!"
"Well, instead of Tokyo, the surrounding cities are better, I think."
"Which cities?"
"Yokohama, Kamakura, and Kanagawa. Instead of a tall building, departnt stores, or many other things that you usually see in a tropolitan city, those cities are better since you can see the beauty of nature."
"...now you make want to go there."
"Haha..."
As they had fun, Satoshi shared the souvenirs, and then Oreki decided to go back.
"I will stay for a bit. I am waiting for Kaho."
" too. I have sothing to do at the library later."
"Ah, is that so?" Chitanda nodded, without thinking of many things, leaving Ibara and Satoshi alone, but when she looked at Satoshi, her expression was a little complicated, yet in the end, she didn't say anything since she was afraid to rely on him once again, and it was wrong as he was the boyfriend of her childhood friend.
Only after watching Chitanda leave did Satoshi's expression change quickly as he looked at Ibara. "Did you have fun teasing ?"
"Don't you understand how lonely I am, Fuku-chan?"
Except for Ibara, no one knew that Satoshi went on a trip to Tokyo with Irisu, and naturally, she was jealous!
"You have to compensate !"
"... Do you want to bring you to Tokyo, too?"
"I would be lying if I didn't have an interest in Tokyo, but let's leave it when we are adults, since it is expensive, right?"
"That's true, but most of my spending is reimbursed by the publishing house."
"Ah, really?"
"Yes. If not, then I won't dare to go to Tokyo."
"Then, will such a chance co again?"
"Probably not."
"Ah...that's a sha..."
"But with my manga, I should be able to have enough money to bring you there."
"Fuku-chan..."
Ibara looked at Satoshi with a moved expression, thinking that while he appeared so easy and relaxed, he must be working hard behind the scenes, and as his woman, she felt that she should do sothing.
As she thought so, she crouched down, moving under the table.
"What are you doing?"
Satoshi was startled, but Ibara crouched down between his legs and told him to be quiet.
"Shhh... don't make a noise. Just enjoy it."
"W-Wait, this is a school!"
"You said that, but this thing is all hard, you know~? Well, it is so big~!"
Satoshi opened his lips, then closed them again as he let out a comfortable sigh. A wet and warm sensation was felt on his lower body, and his body tensed and quickly turned to the side.
"Cough!"
Still, due to this, Ibara was also startled, but she kept drinking and sucked him deeply, which made him unable to concentrate as he held her head.
"Mayaka..."
Caressing her soft brown hair, Satoshi knew that he had ssed up, but what could he do?
Yet, the one who returned to the Classic Club clubroom pressed her chest, trying to calm her beating heart after knowing such a secret.
