Chapter 79: Chapter 78: Can’t Hold Back, Simply Can’t Hold Back

Jinzuan was the venue chosen by Wan Renmin, not far from Nanjing Restaurant; it was just about a ten-minute drive. Since all five people present had drunk alcohol, they called a designated driver at the restaurant entrance to take them there.

Jinzuan’s second floor is dedicated to KTV, with dining on the first floor, sauna on the third floor, and accommodations on the fourth floor and above—it essentially fulfills the one-stop shop for eating, drinking, entertainnt, and sleep.

Shen Yuan guessed that they wouldn’t finish until very late today, so he simply planned to get a room here after the KTV session to avoid another trip.

Wan Renmin booked a business private dining room, which was quite spacious—at least 50 square ters. However, with only five people in total, it inevitably felt a bit empty.

Wan Renmin, having had quite a lot to drink at the restaurant and now with a flushed face, hooked his arm around Shen Yuan’s neck and said:

“Mr. Shen, even though I’m older than you, I feel like we really click. How about we just call each other brothers from now on? You can call brother, and I’ll call you younger brother. What do you think?”

Shen Yuan’s eyelids twitched. Calling a middle-aged man who was at least fifty years old “brother” was sowhat uncomfortable, but he knew this was just small talk to close the distance; maybe by tomorrow morning Old Wan would still call him Mr. Shen.

“Sure, then I’ll take the liberty of calling you Big Brother Wan.”

“Alright, Brother Shen!”

Wan Renmin slapped his thigh, overjoyed, and then he began to pour more drinks for Shen Yuan.

Foo Zhengi helped Wan Renmin pick out a few songs, so Wan Renmin gave Su Xuewei a look and then set down his glass, smiling as he greeted Shen Yuan before picking up the microphone to sing.

The songs Wan Renmin chose were from a different era than Shen Yuan, classics like “The Boatman’s Love,” “A Fire in the Winter,” and “The Girl from Alishan”—all full of nostalgia.

But even though Old Wan was older, he had a strong voice and could just about hold his own.

Su Xuewei sat prettily next to Shen Yuan and cautiously raised her glass, saying, “Mr. Shen, I toast to you.”

Su Xuewei was silly—despite her poor tolerance for alcohol, she had poured herself a full glass, almost spilling over the edge.

“No more drinking for , I’ve had a bit much tonight.”

Shen Yuan waved his hand to refuse and then changed the subject, “You probably don’t co to places like this often, right?”

“Yeah.”

Su Xuewei replied softly.

Shen Yuan glanced over at Wan Renmin and Foo Zhengi and saw they weren’t paying attention to this side, so he spoke softly, “If you don’t want to co next ti, just don’t co. It’s just a job, after all.”

Su Xuewei looked up with her lovely eyes and shook her head gently.

“Sigh.”

Shen Yuan let out a small sigh. He actually could understand Su Xuewei’s situation—society wasn’t such that everyone had the kind of balance in their bank accounts like he did.

The majority of people were working hard for a living.

What might be a regular job for Shen Yuan,

was a vital source of inco for a girl from an ordinary family like Su Xuewei. Getting an internship at a big company like Guanting was probably not easy; it was not sothing she could just give up on.

Regardless, Wan Renmin, the scoundrel, had achieved his goal. Asking this kind of girl out for business entertainnt would garner sympathy from any man.

“Shen Yuan, how co you’re not asking if I want to co here or not?”

Liew nglu had been sitting on Shen Yuan’s left side the whole ti, pouting her lips in dissatisfaction.

Shen Yuan laughed. “You don’t need my care. You’ve got so many fish in your pond. Like that Benz G-Class guy today, he definitely sent you a WeChat, right?”

“Ugh, why bring up what should be left alone?”

Liew nglu pursed her lips.

anwhile, she felt a sense of loss because her usual tactics seed to be ineffective attacks, as n like Shen Yuan simply didn’t care.

Originally intending to trap Shen Yuan, now she found herself trapped by him instead.

Shen Yuan was quite pleased with Liew nglu’s reaction, he had achieved his goal. Having already completed the three steps back, the next step was moving forward.

“Mr. Shen, what, what song would you like to sing? Do you want to go select it for you?”

Shen Yuan turned around, and at that mont, Su Xuewei’s cheeks were faintly flushed. The dim neon lights in the private dining room shone down, making Su Xuewei’s oval face look exceptionally beautiful. Plus, her slightly anxious expression made her even more capable of arousing a man’s protective instincts.

Shen Yuan thought for a mont, “Help choose ‘Lie,’ and ‘Unique Skill,’ thank you.”

Su Xuewei paused briefly after hearing this, but quickly responded in a soft and gentle voice, “Mhm.”

“Shen Yuan, there’s sothing off about you.”

Watching Su Xuewei walk to the song selection machine, Liew nglu leaned closer and whispered into Shen Yuan’s ear, “Aren’t you a playboy? You were practically lting just now when you looked at her.”

“Really?”

Shen Yuan quietly watched Su Xuewei’s charming figure from behind.

“Of course!”

Liew nglu said with so dissatisfaction.

Liew nglu was very close to Shen Yuan, and he could faintly sll the scent of her perfu. He unconsciously extended his left hand.

Wrapping his arm around Liew nglu’s waist, he looked straight at her, “The way I look at you seems quite ‘lting’ too.”

Liew nglu squird uncomfortably, initially wanting to break free, but then she thought she might as well let the scumbag take so advantage first.

Liew nglu t Shen Yuan’s gaze and after thinking, said, “No, the way you look at isn’t like that. When you look at , there’s only desire, no emotion.”

“That’s where your strength lies, actually. No matter through which aspect a woman attracts a man, the end result is the sa.”

“And what is that end result?”

Liew nglu asked, puzzled.

“Obviously, it’s getting between the sheets.”

“You…..”

Liew nglu was so frustrated, this man always led her into a trap in their conversations.

But Shen Yuan was also straightforward, unlike so n who, clearly lusting for a woman’s body, would disguise it as love.

Wasn’t that like playing the whore while setting up a shrine?

Shen Yuan wasn’t satisfied with just holding her.

He let his hand wander up and down.

Coach Liew, being a fitness coach, had not an ounce of excess fat on her waist.

But it still felt exceptionally soft to his touch.

And Liew nglu felt a tickling sensation.

Which made her shiver uncontrollably.

Feeling sothing wrong with her body, she quickly grabbed Shen Yuan’s hand and stopped him, “Okay, that’s enough.”

“Of course, that wasn’t enough.”

Shen Yuan swiftly attacked, gripping the left headlight firmly.

He tried to hold it with one hand but found it too much to handle.

Damn, it’s resilient!

Imdiately, he withdrew his hand, considering there were other people present.

When he made his move just now, he also paid attention to the other three people: Wan Renmin was singing, Foo Zhengi was absorbed in watching him sing, and Su Xuewei was busy selecting songs and hadn’t noticed this side.

“You jerk!”

Liew nglu’s pretty face blushed, she scolded playfully, then looked around to make sure no one was watching before adjusting her dress.

“Coach Liew, I’ve only touched the ball just now, I’d like to go for a shot as well, that’s not too much, right?”

Shen Yuan said with a teasing smile.

“Don’t you even think about it!”

Liew nglu pursed her lips, twisting her waist slightly away to maintain a distance from Shen Yuan, the lecher.

Shen Yuan’s song had already been queued up, and after Wan Renmin finished singing, he helped Shen Yuan bring his song to the top of the queue and then passed him the microphone with a smile.

“There are a few good candidates, and I’m not lonely or alone…”

Shen Yuan held the microphone in his left hand, his right hand in the pocket of his jeans, calmly watching the changing scenes on the screen.

“Saying Lies” was his go-to song; he could get into it every ti he sang.

But Shen Yuan didn’t know why, despite the main character in the MV being a sycophant and himself more of a player, he was still able to relate.

“I have no shadowy psychological barriers, don’t take it to heart…”

Shen Yuan’s voice was magnetic, clear with a touch of youth, hitting all the right notes and tones for the song, on top of that the song’s emotional expression was unique, pretending to be strong and not caring, but in truth, was just a last-ditch denial.

Shen Yuan’s llifluous voice, combined with the slightly somber lody, made everyone present turn their gaze towards him.

From Su Xuewei’s angle, she could only see Shen Yuan’s profile and his tall, slender silhouette.

Having displayed the savvy and slickness of a seasoned eater and drinker, he now seed forlorn and lancholic when singing.

Su Xuewei felt a disconnect, as if these two characters shouldn’t belong to the sa person.

Su Xuewei actually loved this song, when she was in junior and senior high school, boarding at school, her happiest monts were curling up in her blanket with headphones on and listening to music after evening self-study.

“I didn’t lie, why would I lie…”

Su Xuewei couldn’t help but sing along softly.

anwhile, Liew nglu silently watched his tall figure, listening to the captivating voice, and couldn’t help but click her tongue in appreciation.

“Shen Yuan is sowhat handso when he’s not being a pervert.”

When the song concluded, Wan Renmin led the applause, clapping enthusiastically. He was not from the sa generation as the youngsters and didn’t fully grasp the song’s mood, but it was tis like these when vigorous clapping seed appropriate.

Wan Renmin knew this deal was pretty much in the bag.

“Brother Shen, you really can sing!”

“Your voice is great, and so full of emotion!”

Wan Renmin laid on the flattery thick, and Foo Zhengi also chid in with a smile, “Yeah, Mr. Shen sings so well, I think you could even make a debut as a singer!”

“Brother Shen, co on, sing another one for us! Cleanse our ears a little more!”

Wan Renmin suggested cheerfully.

Shen Yuan waved his hand, not caring much for the flattery, and then under the bombardnt of their rainbow farts, sang another Unique Skill.

The KTV session continued until 11 PM, and as they were about to part ways, Wan Renmin’s warm hands tightly grasped Shen Yuan’s, “Brother Shen, I didn’t expect that at my age, I would make such an age-defying friend like you.”

“We should hang out more often in the future!”

“Sure, no problem.”

Shen Yuan smiled faintly, thinking to himself that Wan Renmin was about to reveal his true intentions for the evening.

As expected, Wan Renmin then said, “Speaking of renovations, our Guanting is absolutely professional. I sincerely hope we can collaborate, and you can truly experience Guanting’s services.”

Shen Yuan smiled, “I’ve only looked at two companies, and both your designs are professional. If the prices are the sa, I’ll certainly choose the company with better materials.”

“But rest assured, I’ll definitely consider you guys first.”

Wan Renmin’s voice grew more fervent, “Great, great, you won’t need to worry about materials and ho furnishing brands. I’ll make sure to talk to my team to make sure everything is to your liking.”

“Alright, let’s leave it at that for tonight.”

“There’s one more thing.”

With a secretive glance at Shen Yuan, Wan Renmin leaned over and whispered, “If Mr. Shen doesn’t have any plans tonight, we have a sauna on the third floor here, and the service is quite good. Let’s relax a bit.”

Shen Yuan’s lips twitched, realizing that Wan Renmin had a reason for choosing this place for KTV.

But he wasn’t interested in such quick services, shaking his head he said, “So other ti, I have sothing on tonight.”

“Alright, next ti for sure!”

Seeing that their conversation was winding down, Foo Zhengi stepped over to say her goodbyes, “Mr. Shen, we’ll head back now then, see you next ti.”

“Okay.”

Shen Yuan nodded, but couldn’t help glancing at Su Xuewei who was standing not far away.

Foo Zhengi imdiately caught on, smiling knowingly, “Xuewei is my apprentice; I’ll make sure she gets ho safely.”

“Good.”

Shen Yuan nodded, and then let them take the elevator down first while he turned to Liew nglu and said, “Shall I call you a cab?”

“What about you?”

Liew nglu walked over and hooked her arm through Shen Yuan’s, raising her delicate face to look at him.

“I’ll probably just get a room here and sleep.”

“Why get a room? Don’t you have a place to sleep?”

Liew nglu blinked her beautiful eyes.

“Or maybe you could shelter ?”

“…..”
