Chapter 44: Abducting Huang Rong as a Concubine? Zhao Min Wet Herself in Fear! ( Part 2 )

Zhao Min watched her followers struggle with the beasts and scoffed.

She said to Huang Rong:

“So this is the source of your confidence?”

“Princess Zhao.”

Huang Rong gave her a pitying look.

“Since you’ve planted spies in Xiangyang and the Guo residence, you should know the origin of that eagle and python, right?”

“You an that young man nad Wang Xuan?”

Zhao Min’s brows knotted.

She had received intelligence on Wang Xuan.

But she assud he’d used so special trick to ta those two beasts.

He looked so young—could his martial arts be stronger than Guo Jing’s?

If so, wouldn’t he be a land-bound immortal from the legends?

In that case, forget attacking Xiangyang—they should run as far as possible!

But Zhao Min knew she had no way out.

If she didn’t achieve a great victory to prove her worth, she’d be forced to marry the Little Prince.

She’d rather die!

So, no matter what—it was do or die tonight!

Feigning calm, she said to Huang Rong:

“Surely you’re not saying Wang Xuan is your greatest trump card?”

Huang Rong didn’t answer—she looked to the sky.

She had been using her spiritual sense the whole ti.

So she was the first to sense Wang Xuan’s return.

Isn’t this overkill? Hope he doesn’t scare Fu’er and Xiang’er!

Lu Zhangke, still struggling with the beasts, suddenly felt sothing drip onto his face.

“Rain?”

He wasn’t the only one—others sensed sothing strange and looked up.

The eagle and python abruptly retreated into the backyard.

“What is this?”

Zhao Min extended her palm.

The drop in her hand was red—and hot.

Blood.

She caught the scent even before she saw it.

Looking up, Zhao Min’s eyes widened.

She saw a silhouette hovering above the Guo residence, bathed in moonlight, and behind it… a dark mass dripping blood.

She instantly realized what it was.

Her stomach churned—she nearly vomited.

Even the Xuanming Elders—seasoned killers—collapsed to the ground in terror.

Only one thought remained in their minds:

Demon!

Then Zhao Min heard a man’s voice beside her.

“Where is Mu Nianci?”

Startled, she whipped around.

A striking young man with immortal-like elegance stood before her—Wang Xuan.

As he landed, dozens of severed heads, bound by blood threads, dropped like waterlons around him.

Huang Rong sighed.

Easy for him—he’s not the one who has to clean this ss. The servants are going to wet themselves tomorrow.

Though it seed so already had.

The Xuanming Elders and Ah Da’s group sat frozen, not even daring to breathe—terrified Wang Xuan might glance their way.

“I asked you—where is Mu Nianci? Why haven’t I seen her? Were you lying to ?”

Wang Xuan stepped forward, gripping Zhao Min’s swan-like neck and lifting her effortlessly.

She flailed, coughing violently, her delicate face turning red.

Seeing her struggle, Wang Xuan suddenly recalled a certain choking play he’d read about in his past life.

So won found that sort of edge thrilling.

But it was way too twisted!

One misstep and soone could really die.

Wang Xuan wasn’t planning to play her to death—just scare the prairie princess a bit.

But just as he was about to set her down, sothing dripped near his foot.

Huh?

Did the princess… wet herself from fear?

When a person is truly terrified, control becos impossible.

Zhao Min felt the warm dampness in her undergarnts. Sha and fear surged together.

Her usually sharp mind was now a tangled ss. It was as if her brain had completely shut down.

I’m going to die! she thought helplessly.

But in the next mont, Zhao Min found her feet touching the ground again.

The man had let her go.

Imdiately, she began gasping for air, breathing hard.

That suffocating mont had genuinely convinced her she was about to die!

Fresh air flooded her lungs—though laced with the scent of blood—and gradually, her pale face regained a hint of rosiness.

I’m alive…

She coughed a few tis, steadied her breath, and only then dared to look up at Wang Xuan.

Strangely, she felt no anger toward him.

How could soone this handso be so terrifying just monts ago?

Zhao Min simply couldn’t associate the ethereal-looking Wang Xuan before her with the demonic figure in the sky.

Aren’t demonic cultists supposed to look sinister and emit an evil aura?

But Wang Xuan looked like a celestial being, reborn from heaven.

“Who… who are you?” Zhao Min mustered her courage to ask.

She had guessed he was the one Huang Rong ntioned earlier, but she still wanted to confirm it.

Wang Xuan didn’t reply. Instead, he slowly walked toward Deer Cane Elder and the others.

“Don’t co any closer!” Crutch Pen Weng shouted.

He begged for rcy while scrambling backward with one hand on the ground. His legs had gone soft from fear.

At so point, a sword had appeared in Wang Xuan’s hand.
