He had just revealed to Syndra that the reason he had such a godly level of control was because that was the only cultivation art he had practiced all along.
If he displayed other cultivation arts, and exhibited similar levels of progress, then even an idiot would realize what was going on.
On the positive side though, the ti he had left in the training room could be stored for future use.

Now, he opened the tab containing various results of his offensive art and erased them all at once.
Then, with a quick goodbye, he left the training hall. There was no use staying if he couldn’t do what he had booked it for.
Eryndor travelled around the main building, walking through various facilities before he finally ca across sothing interesting to pass ti with.
Before him stood the Hall of Fa.
As soon as he set sights on it, he also rembered a guess he had a while back but couldn’t verify it.
He registered his student id and entered the vast hall.
Eryndor already had a clear idea of what he wanted to see.
Navigating through the various pillars, posters, banners, trophies and other such things, he arrived at the cultivation section.
There it is.
He moved his legs, arriving before an opened scroll frad ticulously in a glass box.
The scroll was beautifully made, decorated with ribbons and gems. The words on it were engraved with eye catching calligraphy.

It was a record of who had broken through the fastest from Qi Gathering stage one to stage two.
As to why it wasn’t from a mortal to stage one of Qi Gathering realm?
Eryndor already had a guess in mind.
There was no concrete data of when the person began their cultivation, finally breaking through to stage one of the Qi Gathering realm.
But if one counted from stage one to stage two, they had a definite starting point of counting from the day one broke through to stage one.
As to the question of how the Academy knew when a person broke through? They didn’t.
You had to reveal it yourself. There was no use lying as the academy had several ways to verify it.
Why would anyone willingly disclose their breakthrough? Because the Human Federation provided extrely good rewards every ti soone broke a record in the Hall of Fa.
Different records had different values of course, but even the lowest was still a generous amount.
Such a good way of trapping. Those who are in the dark will die before even realizing anything.
Eryndor mused as he gazed at the scroll.

It made sense now why it was professor lissa on the mission to contain the Hand of Destruction.
If she was indeed so talented, that mission could be an attempt at silently killing her.
This complicates things.
Eryndor frowned.
If it was truly a mission to silence professor lissa along with achieving a few other goals, that ant there was a high possibility that everything was planned.
It increased the likelihood of Rodrick simply being an unaware pawn, used by the unknown figures to achieve a variety of objectives in a single mission.
Eryndor subconsciously heaved a sigh.
He just realized that the protection provided by professor lissa was far far more important than he had thought of.
If even a professor level figure could be plotted against, then he was simply an insignificant ant.
Good thing I ca across the Hall of Fa.
It allowed him to rember the task about checking out professor lissa’s talent.
Eryndor was just thinking about touring the Hall of Fa when a sound of notification rang out.
Halting his thoughts, he took out his phone.
Professor lissa’s ssage?
Eryndor had an inkling that it might be sothing about the request he had made in exchange for the contributions she had tampered with.
Yep.
The ssage notified him that the request had gone through. The Anomaly Containnt Departnt had allowed him to tag along with a team which would be eting one of the Eldritch Entities.
In fact, he had been told to be present in the mission hall in an hour as the mission was to comnce today itself.
He imdiately sent a ssage of thanks to professor lissa.
After leaving the Hall of Fa, as he was walking towards the elevator, he figured he might as well notify her about his assumption.
Taking out his phone, he imdiately pulled up her chat and sent her his guess.
Within a few seconds, there was already a reply from her.
"Damn. I didn’t think from that point of view."
lissa had indeed not thought about it.
All her thoughts regarding the mission were concentrated on the fact that the intention of whoever planned this revolved around the Mystical Artifact as she was aware of its extraordinary origins.
If she included Eryndor’s assumption in it though, it didn’t seem too far off from the truth. His guess could indeed be a possibility.
With narrowed eyes, she first forwarded the ssage to her brother, and then praised Eryndor for his keen insight.
Eryndor had already put the phone back in his pocket as he raced towards his villa.
He had been told to carry a few things with him on the mission, all of which were very obviously in the villa.
No one road around with travel essentials.
"Oh? You are ho?"
He asked Paulina as he walked by the living room. Without waiting he continued towards his room, hearing Paulina answer loudly.
"I never left."
Eryndor didn’t reply to it. He had just asked out of courtesy since he passed by her, Paulina knew it too.
After packing all the listed things, he notified Paulina about his mission and left.
It was finally ti to et an Eldritch Entity.
