Eryndor couldn't switch to his second form because the reason was pretty obvious. It was way too close to the two high ranking mbers of the Human Federation.

What if Sol or Morris had so way to sense eldritch presence?

The secret realm was as big as a state, true, but he didn't even know where he had been teleported, there was no map of the secret realm. What if he was in the area right next to the entrance?

That was where he saw Guardian Sol was assigned to stay guard. He would be pretty fucked in that case.

There was also another way to avoid fighting.

He could just go out, take the bag, and return. His own speed was definitely enough to dodge them.

But let's be honest. Did he want that?

Nope, I feel like fighting.

Passive cultivation had already refilled his Qi reserves. From the looks of it, this cave also looked pretty large, it might take a few hours to explore all of it.

He didn't want those humongous beasts outside during his ti in the cave. Even though the cave looked pretty firm and stable, there was no telling if those beasts were capable of collapsing it.

His Sovereign's Cloak and Crimson Armor cultivation art might probably be able to save him but the potential clues, if any, would be lost.

As he walked towards the entrance, he typed a ssage describing the beast's appearance, how he fought it, his speculations of its weak spots, and how many points he got from it, and sent it to the group chat.

Syndra: "Damn what the fuck? When did you get so strong?" Read chapters at My Virtual Library Empire

She still rembered he was only in the early stage of Qi Gathering realm when she t him in the shared dual training room.

Second stage? Third stage? She didn't rember, but it was definitely only in the early stages.

But now?

She had already looked up information about Terramorph Ravagers. Their lowest level in this secret realm was at mid stage of Latent realm, but judging from their physique, their combat prowess was at peak of Latent realm.

Doesn't that an Eryndor was at least at stage seven of Qi Gathering realm to stand a realistic chance at beating the beast?

What kind of monster was he?

She was already surprised when she ca to know Drakarion, Valentina and Paulina were at stage five of their respective power systems, but this? Fuck.

Seeing her reaction, the rest of the team mbers looked up information about the beast Eryndor had defeated.

Drakarion: "Holy shit. You bet I'm the one running to my room and closing the doors next ti we banter."

Valentina: "And here I thought I was a genius. Not to ntion Drakarion and Paulina are at the sa stage as , but you've even surpassed us.

"Did I see the wrong statistics? Am I not a genius? Am I a block of wood?"

Paulina: "No wonder you were only slightly surprised when I told you my level. You were even higher than . It seems I wasn't working hard enough."

Edward: "....."

Edward, the second year senior who was at stage nine of the level one of his power system, felt his teeth going sore from how hard he was grinding them.

While Drakarion joked around as if it was nothing serious, Valentina doubted her own talent, and Paulina said she wasn't working hard, his own thoughts were a jumbled ss.

If you are a block of wood then what am I? A piece of trash?

These newbies…

Do they even understand how talented they were?

All three of them had enough speed to compete with the fastest the Academy had seen in recent tis. That student was currently in fourth year.

His head hurt from the show off 'normal' conversation of the group. What was normal for them simply looked like a show off to him.

Just like how a few million dollars were worth nothing to the true rich guys, it was still a pretty big deal to the poor ones.

He looked at the corpse of the bear a few distance away from him.

I don't feel like I deserve the rest anymore.

Edward put the phone in his bag and resud looking for beasts.

While everything was happening, Eryndor had already used Lightning Infusion and Shadowstep to run out of the cave and approach a beast at flickering speed.

He was quick to activate his Internal Fist. These beasts had lightning fast reflexes when it ca to defending, but Eryndor didn't care.

He didn't mind his hand hitting a stone plate and getting hurt as long as he could damage the beast more in return.

As a person with Passive Regeneration, he was the least afraid of trading blows. His initial hesitation of getting hurt had long faded away at so point.

As soon as he was near the twenty ter tall behemoth, he hit its leg.

The force of Internal Fist bypassed its rocky defenses, sending tremors rippling through its insides. The beast stumbled backward, limbs shuddering, but another beast was already hurtling toward him at so point.

Without missing a beat, he activated Shadowstep, slipping past the incoming blow.

His body blurred, climbing the tall tree nearby at breakneck speed and jumping off a branch, reappearing behind the neck of the second beast.

His spiked mace whistled through the air—montum, detachnt, strike!

The unpredictable shift in direction allowed the electrified head to slam into the beast's exposed nape.

Sparks crawled across its flesh. A crackling snap followed—one of its many eyes burst, sizzling from within. It reeled, while Eryndor stepped on its body systematically to descend.

The remaining three had encircled him, their coordination was too good, almost unnatural, it was dangerous.

One slamd its massive foot down to crush him. Eryndor, whose feet had just touched the ground after being so high up in the air, didn't have any ti to dodge.

It was a good thing he already had his Crimson Armor activated, crossing his hands above his head reflexively, he reinforced himself just as the foot landed on him.

Blood spurted out of his mouth as he withstood the beast's attack.

Looking up at them, he activated his Shadowstep to quickly move out of the way as soon as the beast lifted its foot.

Eryndor ran around the forest, taking several chances to hit the beast while his body dripped blood onto the ground.

But it was too difficult.

Even if he baited one of the beasts away from the group and hit it, before he could even inflict serious damage on it, the rest would've caught up to him.

He also wasn't able to cross check if all the beasts were sensitive to movent or if it was just that one beast, the battlefield was too chaotic, he would need thorough preparations to check that.

Second attempt failed, ti to run back to the cave.

Five well coordinated peak Latent realm beasts were simply too many at his current stage. He would need to co up with more strategies.

He didn't know they were THIS amazingly coordinated.

He had already controlled his travel bag and put it in the cave while the beasts' attention was on him.

I'll be back, you bastards.

Eryndor thought, as he ran back to the cave.

He would definitely kill these beasts, but now it was ti to look for clues.
