Eryndor wanted to go out and take a walk around the planet, but when he realized this planet was where the Crappy Birds lived, he thought better of it.
He would rather get so fresh air on the first checkpoint planet.
On that day itself, he finished the remaining Qi Gathering pills, consolidating his cultivation at stage six.
Now I am out of both Qi Gathering pills and Spirit Strengthening pills.
Eryndor set his sights on the box of Body Tempering pills, before finally making up his mind to use them.
There was really nothing else to do.
Taking out a bottle, he returned to his bed and sat cross legged.
After taking a deep breath, he popped a pill in his mouth.
Body Tempering pills worked in the sa way as the Spirit Tempering pills.
One had to circulate their practice technique after taking the pill. Depending on how much Qi one absorbed, their body would be tempered at a similar rate.
They were also similar to Spirit Gathering pills such that their efficacy was dependent on the tempering done rather than ti.
There was just one difference.
The tempering granted by these pills wasn’t as pleasant as Spirit Strengthening pills. And Eryndor was experiencing that first hand.
As soon as he realized that his bed might get ssy, he stood up and ran to the bathroom, sitting on its floor and resuming his circulation of Qi.
Indeed, his physique began aching as soon as he completed one revolution of the Qi.
But that was it, he soon felt a cooling sensation all over his body.
My Passive Regeneration is taking effect?
Eryndor was incredibly thankful about it. It ant he wouldn’t reach a state of extre pain.
When one continued cycling their Qi while the Body Tempering pill was in effect, the pain would keep stacking, transforming your body.
It strengthened the muscles in one’s body. Of course, going by this logic, the strengthening would only apply for that limited amount of mass for people who were skinny.
And since a single Body Tempering pill provided a fixed amount of tempering, the increase in strength of muscles of a skinny person would be more than the increase in strength of muscles of a person with more mass after a consumption of single pill.
Well, there were benefits to having more mass as well, as one would have a greater overall strength increase.
As Eryndor continued manipulating his Qi to complete revolutions in the big circuit of ridians of his practice technique, his body continued to be tempered.
He never went beyond a certain intensity of pain, as his Passive Regeneration continued to heal the muscles.
After about twenty minutes, when the efficacy of the pill ended, he opened his eyes.
His body was completely drenched in sweat. He also noticed that the sweat was darker than usual, sticking to his skin. It seed a tiny amount of impurities had also seeped out.
I was correct to leave my bed.
He just removed his clothes and put them aside, before taking another pill and sitting cross legged on the bathroom floor.
Yes, he was naked.
He would rather not go through countless pairs of clothes only to keep drenching them in his sweat after each use of a Body Tempering pill.
He could also not endure wearing sweat drenched clothes for the entire ti he would be tempering his body.
Jeez, should I turn on the shower as well?
Well, tempering his body under a shower. Could it be called the modern day version of practicing under a waterfall?
Wait, is that why they sat under waterfalls? To effectively wash off their sweat and impurities as soon as they oozed out of their skin?
Eryndor couldn’t help but pass comnts on that way of practice, despite knowing that what they valued was the pressure of waterfall and the practice of keeping a calm state of mind under all that noise and pressure.
It was just his way of keeping things light hearted and passing ti.
Soon, he was done with another Body Tempering pill.
I should really turn on the shower.
But then again, water on the spaceship was limited. Staff would be banging on his door in no ti if he kept his shower on the entire ti he was tempering his body.
Might as well use it at the end of the session.
Enduring the sweat on his body, Eryndor continued using body tempering pills.
The entire next week, he entered into a new routine.
He would stay in the bathroom all the ti, exiting after taking a shower only when it was al ti.
He could feel his strength increasing each passing day.
It also helped that he was at stage six of Qi Gathering realm. The maximum amount of improvent which a body could handle depended on its rank.
A body at stage one of Qi Gathering realm would find it very difficult to get tempered till the extent of hurting a stage nine of Qi Gathering realm.
The sa was the case with Spirit Strengthening pills. One shouldn’t expect to strengthen their minds at stage one such that it could defend against soone from stage nine.
Ever since the advent of the manifestation of four energies and eight power systems, a common saying went around that nothing was impossible.
No one knew who spread it, but people still adopted it due to the miraculous things they got to witness everyday.
But even if sothing wasn’t impossible didn’t an it wouldn’t be difficult.
Eryndor had no idea what one would need to do or consu to have a mind or body powerful enough to resist attacks above their stages or even realms.
He took a look at the pill bottles left in the box and made a rough calculation according to the level of improvent he felt.
Well, it seems I wouldn’t be wasting pills due to reaching the maximum limit of my physique.
Eryndor reckoned that his cultivation realm would be able to accommodate the remaining amount of pills just fine.
After going through his phone for a few minutes, he went back to the bathroom to continue using the Body Tempering pills.
During the entire return journey back to Earth, he successfully finished the batch of Body Tempering pills as well.
Apart from taking a short walk on the first checkpoint planet, he was cooped up in the spaceship all the ti, so when he finally set foot on Earth, he felt excited for his life to return to normal.
Finally, back on Earth.
It was ti to go back to the Academy.
