At the Uchiha residence in the Oeyama, Sasuke looked at the ancient scrolls filling the entire bookshelf, then turned to Kaito standing beside him, his face a mixture of surprise and skepticism, as if to question, "Are you serious?"
"Indeed, Sasuke." Kaito flashed a rciless smile, "You have to go through all of these."
He patted Sasuke’s shoulder, "Secret techniques related to ntal strength involve deep and complex theories. Without mastering these theories, it’s impossible to reach a higher level of practice. But with your intelligence, it shouldn’t be a problem, right?"
"Hmph, I’ll learn it."
Sasuke turned away from Kaito, picked up a pile of scrolls from the shelf, sat down on the floor, and started reading.
Seeing this, Kaito smiled, "Keep it up, Sasuke. I have to step out for a bit, so I won’t disturb you. Lunch will be delivered, and if you have any questions, ask tonight."
"Got it."
After Kaito left the Uchiha residence, he strolled leisurely toward the Tenshu Tower.
"Ah, Lord Kaito."
"Lord Kaito."
Along the way, small demons erged from various corners to greet him.
Kaito didn’t stop but responded with a smile and a nod.
"Little Kaito."
A gentle voice suddenly called out behind Kaito. A girl in a colorful kimono with butterfly wing decorations appeared and stood behind him.
"Yūrei."
Hearing the familiar voice, Kaito turned to greet her.
"You’re back in Oeyama but didn’t co to see ." The girl, Yūrei, directly grabbed Kaito’s arm.
"Hey, hey, we just got back last night," Kaito laughed, "And here we are eting Yūrei today, right?"
"Is that so? Then that’s better," Yūrei said with a light smile.
This woman obviously knew I ca back yesterday and deliberately waited here to intercept .
Kaito thought to himself but invited warmly, "By the way, I was just about to check the situation at the Tenshu Tower. Would you like to co along?"
"Sure, I’d like to see how those guys are doing too."
Upon reaching the Tenshu Tower’s main hall, they entered to find Kaito greeted by Uchiha Chiri, who was guarding the place.
"Little Chiri, you’ve been working hard." Yūrei went up to hold Chiri’s hand.
"Yūrei is here too," Chiri said with a gentle smile, "It’s not hard at all, since I have nothing else to do."
"So kind, little Chiri," Yūrei’s gaze moved to the several flas in the center of the array on the floor, "Oh, I didn’t expect it to have recovered this much already. Impressive, little Kaito and little Chiri."
You haven’t visited for three years, have you?
Kaito didn’t want to discuss ti with a demon, so he simply comnted on the sigils on the ground, "There are probably a few more years to prepare, hopefully, it’s enough."
"Don’t worry," Yūrei reassured, "I believe you two can do it."
Chiri nodded, "Do what humans can, and leave the rest to fate; we can only do our best."
"By the way, Chiri," Kaito looked at her, "I have an idea."
"Oh? What unexpected big move are you planning now?" Yūrei asked with interest.
"About the information I got before. Whether or not Akatsuki and Madara are connected, if they are, it ans Madara didn’t die at the hands of Hashirama Senju back then," Kaito said with a smile, "If Madara is behind the current situation, I think asking him directly would be the best approach."
"You’re thinking of summoning Madara’s soul from the Pure Land?" Chiri was surprised, "Is that possible?"
"Yes, I’ve been thinking about it since Sasuke ntioned the Reanimation Jutsu used by Orochimaru. If a ninja technique can do it, Yin-Yang magic can definitely achieve it."
Kaito smiled confidently, "The mont I saw Yūrei just now, I suddenly had an inspiration."
"Oh? How am I involved?" Yūrei looked curiously at Kaito.
"It’s related to your abilities," Kaito explained, "Opening the gate between the Pure Land and the present world is sothing I can do at any ti, especially since the Pure Land, which was mostly taken by Kaguya Ōtsutsuki through the God Tree, no longer has its guardians."
"However, with the vast number of sleeping souls in the Pure Land, finding a specific person requires a dium."
"Even though we are all Uchihas, the blood connection to Madara is too distant, and using blood as a dium would almost certainly fail," Chiri added.
"Right, Madara didn’t leave any descendants," Kaito continued, "So using blood as a dium is out of the question, and we can’t find any of his personal belongings."
Kaito had been pondering how to achieve his goal for the past two days, but the mont he saw Yūrei, he suddenly had an idea.
Yūrei is a butterfly demon who can freely enter and exit the world of dreams. Although she doesn’t have much combat ability, her power is quite rare. With the Pure Land shattered, the souls of the dead reach the Pure Land and directly fall into a sleep without going through the judgnt of the underworld as in ancient tis.
And the souls of ninjas, tainted by chakra, are even unable to reincarnate.
Thankfully, the majority of the world’s population consists of ordinary people, with ninjas being a very small part, allowing the world’s cycle of reincarnation to mostly maintain itself. Otherwise, it would have collapsed long ago.
Therefore, since the souls are sleeping and even unconscious ones will have dreams, opening the gate between the Pure Land and the present world and using Yūrei’s ability to capture dreams from the Pure Land might lead to finding Madara’s soul.
"What do you think of this thod?"
Kaito explained his idea and looked at Chiri and Yūrei for their opinions.
"Oh, so it turns out I have to work hard, huh?" Yūrei looked at Kaito sowhat displeased, "Why should I do such a thing for soone I don’t even know like Madara?"
"Please, Yūrei," Kaito pleaded with a smile, "It’s all to prepare for defeating Kaguya and other potential Ōtsutsuki threats."
"Such a noble reason," Yūrei teased, playing with her sleeve, then looked at Kaito with a mischievous smile, "But, I refuse."
Every ti it’s like this, what a troubleso woman.
Although Kaito thought this, he still politely asked, "Then what are your conditions, Miss Yūrei?"
Yūrei covered half of her face with her sleeve and said cunningly, "Of course, it’s the old rules."
"I knew I couldn’t escape," Kaito sighed, covering his face as well.
Chiri, however, floated by, smiling without saying a word.
