"So in the end, is this all you’re capable of, Onmyoji?" Jigen’s tone seed a bit disinterested, and he suddenly increased his strength, forcing Izuna and Chiri back. "Relying on these two who are already long dead won’t be enough to defeat !"
"Damn it!" A crack appeared on Izuna’s forehead, revealing a third Mangekyo Sharingan. "Don’t underestimate us!"
"Oh? Do you still have so tricks left?" Jigen looked at Izuna with interest but then said disappointedly, "What a sha. Your eyes are useless in front of !"
"Then try us!" Izuna sheathed his ninja sword and exchanged a glance with Chiri.
"Susanoo!"
"Susanoo!"
A half-body skeleton in purple and pink appeared, enveloping both Izuna and Chiri.
Soon, the giant half-skeletons grew muscles and blood vessels, covering themselves with armor. Complex patterns representing Senjutsu appeared on the surface.
Izuna’s purple Susanoo held a single sword, while Chiri’s pink Susanoo wielded a double-handed blade. Both raised their arms and slashed toward Jigen.
"Interesting!" Jigen’s body floated into the air, quickly ascending to dodge the three enormous blades with ease.
"Damn it, we’re out of range!" Sasuke had been nervously watching the battle.
"Not necessarily," Kaito smiled. "The Susanoo of these two predecessors is not so limited."
At the sa ti, the Susanoo of Izuna and Chiri swiftly grew lower bodies. The armor transford, and long-nosed tengu masks completely covered their faces, with wings spreading out behind them.
Both of them rose into the sky, entering the space inside the foreheads of their respective Susanoo. With dirt flying, the two giant figures also took to the air, their massive blades slicing through the wind, creating violent gusts.
However, once again, all three blades missed their target.
"What’s going on?" Keita looked up at the sky. "Where did that guy go?"
"He shrank himself," Kaito squinted his eyes. "It’s a tricky ability. The question is whether he can shrink other objects or enemies directly."
"Damn it! He’s so annoying!" Izuna watched as Jigen dodged their blades by shrinking and then quickly growing back to normal size. "Chiri, don’t give him a chance to catch his breath!"
"Got it!"
The two once again controlled their Susanoo, continuously slashing at Jigen. Giant sword auras rained down from the sky, carving deep cracks in the ground like bottomless chasms.
But Jigen kept changing his size, shrinking and growing unpredictably, easily avoiding their assaults.
"It’s useless!" he said again, his tone carrying regret. "Is this really the best you can do? I’m done playing with you."
The strange markings covering Jigen’s body began to emit a faint glow, growing increasingly bright.
"I’ll send you back to the Pure Land!"
With a flash of light, Jigen reappeared in front of everyone, but his appearance had completely changed.
A large, curved horn grew from his head, and beneath his open white robe, a massive black crystal covered his abdon.
The wind blew through, causing his robe and long braid to flutter. His eyes were now filled with pure killing intent.
Before Izuna and Chiri could react, his figure vanished again from everyone’s sight.
"Crack!"
The sound of breaking suddenly ca from Izuna’s Susanoo.
Everyone quickly looked over and saw Jigen standing on the head of Izuna’s Susanoo, a sonic boom echoing as countless cracks spread from under his foot.
"Chiri, be careful!" Izuna called out.
But it was already too late.
"Crack!"
Even though Chiri had his Susanoo retreating at full force, he still couldn’t dodge the sa attack.
"There’s no other way." Kaito, who had already healed Sasuke’s injuries, stood up, watching as the connected Susanoo of Izuna and Chiri shattered.
"Uncle, I can fight again!" Sasuke, now recovered, also stood up.
"No need." Kaito raised his head, smiling as he watched Izuna and Chiri fall from the sky.
"Now, let us bring out the trump card!"
He suddenly tossed a wooden puppet covered in runes into the air and then dropped to one knee, slamming both hands onto the ground.
"Ryūmyaku Chains!"
The previously dormant golden chains suddenly ca to life. So caught Izuna and Chiri as they fell, while the majority of the sharp chain tips turned and shot towards Jigen.
At the sa ti, the wooden puppet covered in runes emitted a blinding light. Jigen once again used his ability to shrink and enlarge himself, easily breaking through the golden chains. He flipped his body, holding a black rod, aiming downward to strike Izuna.
The bright light from the wooden puppet faded, leaving nothing behind.
Suddenly, a hand wearing a black glove appeared, grabbing the black rod aid at Izuna.
"You’ve got so nerve, daring to lay a hand on my brother."
Red armor, disheveled long hair, a defiant aura, and the murderous intent of a true demon—this figure stood firmly in front of Izuna.
"Brother!" Izuna called out in surprise, imdiately adjusting his stance and drawing his ninja sword once more.
"Izuna," Madara Uchiha turned his head. "Leave this to . You and Chiri, retreat."
"But—" Izuna glanced at Jigen, still grappling with Madara.
"No more nonsense." Madara reached out, taking Izuna’s ninja sword and testing its weight before grumbling, "Since I don’t have a proper weapon, I’ll make do with this."
"Who’s that?" Sasuke asked, looking at the figure who had suddenly appeared in mid-air.
"That’s our trump card," Kaito smiled. "Izuna’s brother, Madara Uchiha."
At this mont, the group who had fallen from the sky finally regained their footing. Madara, still gripping the black rod, swung the ninja sword in his other hand toward Jigen’s head.
Jigen conjured another black rod in his left hand to block Madara’s blade.
Izuna and Chiri exchanged a glance before obediently retreating to Kaito’s side.
"What a rare opportunity!" Madara grinned, excitent lighting up his face. "It’s been a long ti since I’ve faced such a powerful opponent. My blood is boiling!"
"So this is Madara Uchiha," Jigen chuckled. "Even summoning Madara won’t help you, Onmyoji!"
His body shrank and enlarged again, slipping out of Madara’s grip.
"Hahahaha..." Madara laughed wildly, passing the ninja sword from his left hand to his right, spinning it in a flourish, and then slashing at lightning speed.
"It’s been far too long since soone dared to ignore like this—how interesting!" Jigen’s left-hand black rod disappeared, and he swung the one in his right hand to et Madara’s attack.
The two began a pure taijutsu battle. Blades, rods, fists, elbows, shoulders, knees, legs, and feet. In an instant, they clashed countless tis. As ti passed, their movents grew faster, and their strikes beca more powerful.
Even those with Mangekyo Sharingan struggled to keep up, their vision overwheld by the sheer speed and force of the battle.
