Listening to Sasuke’s suggestion, Kaito shook his head.
"Even if Itachi’s deteriorating body can still produce children," he looked seriously at Sasuke, "how can his offspring live peacefully with yours, given that he is the one who killed our clan?"
"What does it matter?" Sasuke seed confused. "That was all Itachi’s fault! The children are innocent."
"We can treat innocent children equally," Kaito affird, "but what about when we’re no longer around?"
"What do you an?" Sasuke still didn’t understand.
Kaito smiled helplessly, but his words were still cold as he spoke the truth.
"Even if you were young at the ti, you should know that when there are more clan mbers, conflicts arise. Even within the sa clan, factions form. Your descendants and Itachi’s would inevitably oppose each other for various reasons."

"Okay." After a while, Sasuke responded in a muffled voice.
Kaito laughed, "Such a spoiled child, little Sasuke."

Sasuke’s face turned completely red, burying himself in Chiri’s embrace like an ostrich.
"All right, you’re not." Kaito stood up, comforting, "As Chiri-senpai said, we won’t force you to make a choice; you still have ti."
As he walked towards the secret room’s door, he said, "At least until you awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan, I won’t let you leave."
"Don’t think too much." Izuna roughly grabbed Sasuke’s collar, pulling him out of Chiri’s embrace, "Co train with !"
"I can walk on my own!" Sasuke completely lost his temper.
As soon as Kaito opened the secret room’s door, Izuna dragged Sasuke and dashed out.
Kaito shook his head and said to Chiri, "Sasuke is still a bit too sensitive."
Chiri adjusted her collar and stood up, "Itachi was too arrogant, forcefully imposing his decision on Sasuke, giving such a young child so many painful mories."
"While I roughly understand his thoughts, I can’t fully comprehend them," Kaito walked out of the secret room, "I can’t understand Fugaku’s thoughts either."
Chiri followed him, closing the door behind her.
"Humans can’t fully understand each other," she said softly. "What’s already happened doesn’t need much thought."
Kaito casually pulled out a talisman and pasted it on the door. A faint blue light flashed, and the wooden door turned into a stone wall.
"True. But if it were , given the strength of the Uchiha clan at the ti, even if we couldn’t completely rival Konoha, we had enough leverage to negotiate."
He sneered and continued, "Itachi feared that the Uchiha clan and Konoha would mutually destroy each other. But weren’t the Konoha leaders more afraid? That’s why they urged Itachi to take action and counterbalance Fugaku."
Chiri said, "Itachi was still too young, but his decision was also influenced by Obito pretending to be Madara."

In front of Chiri, Kaito was always relaxed.

Kaito stepped into the sunlight and stretched lazily.

Chiri gently shook her head, "You can talk to about anything, just like when you were a child."
Kaito smiled genuinely at that mont.
"Well then, I’m off to study the Divine Tree."
