Another day passed. Giovanni, for the first ti in a while, picked up a fishing rod and sat at the bow, becoming a fisherman who returned empty-handed.

Even if I can't catch a Magikarp, catching a Gyarados would be fine.

Unfortunately, perhaps because Surge was on the ship, he caught nothing. The boy, ever since their conversation, had been avoiding him, unsure if he was embarrassed or sothing else.

As for the other three suspicious passengers, they had remained in their rooms, seemingly preparing for sothing.

Night.

Though the sea was calm, things always seed to happen in the dark.

Splash! Splash!

The calm water erupted as two Tentacool floated to the surface, carrying two people with large bags on their backs. They sped towards the S.S. Anne, which was stopped nearby for a banquet.

"As expected," a voice said from the deck of the Golden Beauty. "They're targeting the S.S. Anne." Giovanni slowly walked into the moonlight, watching the two figures disappear into the distance. He then gently turned his head to the side. "Are you planning to rob it? Or are you planning to destroy it completely?"

The woman, one of the three suspicious passengers, erged from a dark corner. "Originally, we weren't going to do anything to you— but you know too much. Don't you know curiosity can kill soone?"

"Wrong," Giovanni shook his head. "Do you even believe that yourself? If it were , regardless of success, everyone on this ship would have to die."

"Since you understand, aren't you afraid of death?"

"Death?" Giovanni gently shook his finger. "You seem to overestimate yourself. If the person behind you ca out, there might be so danger— but you?

You're not qualified."

Buzz!

Under the moonlight, a golden afterimage flashed. Beedrill appeared behind the woman at an extrely fast speed, its incredibly sharp stinger heading for her neck.

She quickly tried to release her Pokémon, but then the Persian, who had been crouching behind her, suddenly appeared from the shadows and snatched all the Poké Balls from her waist. It quickly locked each one with its agile tail.

Beedrill was already there, its stinger pressed against her neck. Crimson blood slowly dripped. She hadn't expected them to be prepared. She clearly hadn't noticed Giovanni or the Persian. How did he do this?

"Who exactly are you?" she asked, the stinging pain in her neck stimulating her senses.

Giovanni slowly walked up to her and rcilessly pinched her face. Though his expression was calm, it made her extrely fearful. "You still don't seem to understand your situation." The constantly tightening hand squeezed her cheek until it deford, making a cracking sound. The woman trembled uncontrollably from the pain.

Giovanni casually picked her up and then violently threw her to the ground. The deck let out a muffled thud, and she couldn't help but let out a scream.

At that mont, Archer and Mars quickly rushed out of the cabin. Mars firmly pressed the woman, who was trying to get up, to the ground, holding a sharp dagger in his hand, ready to finish her off.

"And you," Giovanni said, turning his head slightly and pointing to a corner of the deck. "Do you really think I didn't notice you? Archer, go invite him out."

Archer casually released his Arbok and Priape, slowly approaching the spot Giovanni had indicated.

With a creak, a hidden panel on the deck was pushed open, and Matisse, with a forced smile on his face, rushed out. "You truly are one of a kind."

He had originally just wanted to see what these people were up to, thinking that with his knowledge of the ship's secret passages, he could at least hide well— but who knew Giovanni was so abnormal? As an experienced trainer, when he saw the Beedrill and the Persian, he knew that resistance was futile. He decisively raised his arms in surrender.

Archer, however, didn't kill him. Giovanni hadn't given the order, and he didn't dare to act without permission. He rely took his Poké Balls, locked them, and had his Arbok keep a close eye on him.

Giovanni walked up to the woman, looking down at her. "I ask, you answer. If you're smart, you might avoid so suffering."

The woman twisted her head, seemingly uncooperative.

"You chose poorly." Giovanni said. He nodded to Mars. "Convince her."

Mars raised his hand and released his Grir, a foul odor imdiately erupting from the scene. The woman's face turned even paler— but Giovanni didn't intend to make her obedient by the sll.

At his signal, Mars had the Grir stick to the woman's arm. The slimy touch made her scalp tingle. When a faint stinging pain spread from her arm, she panicked.

"Wait!" she shouted quickly. "I was wrong! I'm willing to cooperate!"

Giovanni lightly waved his hand, and Mars imdiately tried to make the Grir move aside. However, perhaps because it had eaten too many people before, the Grir was clearly disobedient. There was a brutal emotion in its small eyes.

"Sorry, Boss," Mars's expression was ugly. "I'll just have Raticate..."

"Beedrill," Giovanni interrupted him, his voice laced with displeasure. "Teach this worthless sludge a lesson."

His partner in the sky imdiately swooped down, its sharp stingers constantly swinging, and directly cut the Grir into several pieces. The Grir let out cries of pain, almost dying. This ti, it was truly terrified. It let out sounds of pleading, begging for another chance. It still wanted to evolve into a Muk.

"Still not coming back?" Mars aid a Poké Ball at the Grir and recalled it. He didn't really care if it died; he could just get another one. His main concern was that this matter would anger Giovanni.

In contrast, the woman scread when she saw her arm. Its flesh had already been consud by the Grir, revealing stark white bones. If it weren't for the anesthetic effect of the Grir's secretions, she would have fainted from the pain.

"You should be scouts, right?" Giovanni said, paying no attention to her state. "How many more people are behind you?"

The woman looked at him with fear. Her arm was like this, yet he didn't even blink. How ruthless his heart must be.

She was a pirate, but she was also a human.
