489 Alchemy Chamber [1]
"Jia, you should really eat more," Li Xueyan said gently, placing a few lotus buns on Li Jia's plate. "You've lost weight since I last saw you." "I don't need your concern," Li Jia responded coldly, not even looking at her sister as she pushed the buns aside. Li Xueyan sighed in her heart and muttered under her breath "I'm just trying to help, Jia..."
Seeing this, Zhao Tian decided to step in, sensing that the conversation was spiraling toward another confrontation. "These lotus buns are really good," he said with a smile, taking a bite to break the tension.
"I can see why they're a favorite. And this serpent stew... spicy, but just right."
Li Xueyan smiled weakly at his attempt to diffuse the situation. "I'm glad you like them," she said, though her attention was still on her sister. Li Jia, however, remained aloof, taking a few bites of her food but clearly not invested in the al. The silence stretched on, the clinking of utensils against plates the only sound between them. Quickly they finished the al and Li Xueyan paid the waitress with credits.
As they finished their al, Li Xueyan suddenly stood up, her expression shifting back to her usual warm deanor. "Thank you for letting join you two, I hope... I can treat you again soti."
Li Jia didn't respond, but Zhao Tian nodded with a soft smile. "Thanks for the treat,"
With one last glance at her younger sister, Li Xueyan turned and walked away, her figure disappearing into the crowd of disciples in the cafeteria.
Once she was gone, Zhao Tian looked over at Li Jia, who was staring at her empty plate. "You okay?" he asked gently. Li Jia didn't answer at first, but after a long pause, she sighed quietly. "She's always like this..." she muttered, more to herself than to him. "Acting like she cares."
Soon both of them stepped out making their way towards their rooms in the dorms area.
Looking at Li Jia who was so silent, Zhao Tian couldn't shake off his curiosity and asked "What happened between you and your sister?"
With a soft sigh, she replied "She killed our father..." Oh? Zhao Tian raised an eyebrow in surprise as he didn't expect it like this, so he didn't ask any questions further.
...
Xia Shenyi who was sitting at the table in the grassland, smiled faintly looking at Zhao Tian who was cultivating under the array formation she created.
"It's been a long ti since I saw him actually cultivating like this..."
Hearing her giggle, Shi Yixian who was sitting beside her frowned slightly "But no matter how hard he cultivates, it won't subdue his Yang energy.. he already told us that after reaching the Empyreal realm, his yang energy has increased."

The next day morning, Zhao Tian stepped out of his room and glanced at the disciples bustling in the courtyard.
"I think... I should go and peek in the Alchemy Chamber for a little."
As he ca downstairs, he saw the faces of two familiar won and they also noticed him.
"Little brother..."
Qi Xue and Qi Nue quickly ca to him with smiles on their faces "Good morning.. little brother."
"Good morning, Sisters..."
With a giggle, Qi Nue nudged his shoulder and spoke in a teasing tone "Where are you going as the first thing in the morning? To attract so young won with that handso face of yours?"
Zhao Tian smiled dryly at her teasing and shook his head "No, I am going to Alchemy Chamber."
Oh! Qi Nue and Qi Xue were quite surprised and asked "Alchemy Chamber? We are also going there... you want to do so missions there?"
Zhao Tian shook his head "No, I am quite interested in Alchemy.. so I thought of joining."
Qi Nue frowned slightly and asked, "But... little brother, you need to have Fire elental to be an alchemist."

Hearing this, Zhao Tian frowned as he have good control over his elental because of his physique and he also know basic stuff about Alchemy as Shenyi taught him... and his fla is also in its purest form.
(A/n: I am sure I ntioned his fla being pure as an Empyreal fla but not as destructive as an Empyreal fla in an earlier chapter, but I forgot the chap number lol,)
Looking at him, Qi Nue spoke "Even though we are only outer disciples, she accepted us because of our special flas 'Twin flas.' "
"Twin flas?"
With a nod, Qi Xue responded "Yeah.. we are twins, so our flas got mutated, which is quite rare..."
"Our flas have double the purity and power of a normal fla."
