His heat ca just as suddenly as the first ti, completely unexpected. Felix had just gotten back ho after his tea with Brielle (and the accidental run-in with Brian), and put Vivi in the crib so that he could start on the dinner...

When out of nowhere, he felt it. An imnse heatwave sweeping through his body. His heartbeat quickened, and his brain turned into mush. In a matter of seconds, all of his strength left him, and he barely managed to stumble toward the bed before his knees gave in. He dropped limply onto the mattress, his vision blurry. His jumper seed to suffocate him, bringing his already feverish body temperature to the boiling point. Felix tugged on it mindlessly as he started to sweat, trying to free himself, but to no avail. He was barely conscious, overwheld by the lust burning him from within.

It was only his second heat ever. His body wasn’t used to the sensation just yet, thus it was all much harder to endure. Not that going through a heat was ever easy for an Oga, not unless they were mated and with their Alpha right by their side, to take care of them. Jared was far, far away anyway, and so was Kade... Not that Felix would want Kade to help him through the heat. Perhaps it would be pleasurable, but the problem was, what ca next?

"Ugh..." Felix groaned, shifting on the bed, as he tried to find a comfortable position. But he couldn’t. Everything was uncomfortable, and no matter how he positioned himself, he was still just as uncomfortable as before. When all of a sudden, a whiff of jasmine fragrance reached his nose, and with it, a wave of relief swept through his body. He lifted his head, blinking to clear up his mind a bit...

Just in ti to see Remi passing through the bedroom door. He paused for a mont, tilting his head as he stared at Felix...

And then, right in front of the Oga’s eyes, the fox transford into a tall, well-built, sexy man with long ginger hair tied in a low ponytail. He was wearing a similar style of clothing to when Felix had seen him the last ti. n’s clothes, but still looking very witchy, at least on him.

The clothes must have been enchanted. Otherwise, no shifter can appear fully clothed after transforming.

But it was the first ti the man had shown himself in front of Felix without any of his witch’s disguise. His spiky hat was nowhere to be seen, revealing his piercing blue eyes.

And it was also the first ti he had transford in front of Felix, confirming his identity, so that there was no place for even a shadow of doubt.

’Hah, so you finally reveal your true form...’ Felix scoffed inwardly, but he didn’t say it out loud, just basking in the jasmine pheromones, letting his whole body relax. Although the pheromones didn’t get rid of the lust in him, not in the slightest, quite the opposite in fact, at least they relieved him of a lot of the discomfort accompanying the heat, making it all so much more bearable.

Remi walked over to the bed, taking a seat on the edge. Felix t his gaze briefly, before exhaling softly, and closing his eyes, ready to accept whatever ca next.

Remi might have been a fox, but he was also an Alpha. Even though they were of different species, he must have been seduced by Felix’s milk chocolate pheromones, just as Felix was affected by his. Not to ntion, they had even shared a kiss before, so...

And just as he expected, a mont later, he felt a strong arm wrap around his back, lifting him up. Their bodies moved closer, as Remi leaned forward...

And then, a bitter taste filled his mouth. Instead of warm lips, he could feel a cold flask.

Remi was feeding him dicine.

"Sothing to help with the taste," Remi said, pushing a piece of chocolate candy into Felix’s mouth after he finished the potion.

Felix slowly opened his eyes, eting Remi’s blue eyes once again. His heart skipped a beat, and he was out of breath for a mont, affected by their close proximity.

"You... You’re not gonna sleep with ?" he muttered, before he even realized what he was saying.
