They say, annoyance is a feeling that differs from person to person.
A seemingly simple item that never bothered them before, now made many click their tongues with impatience.
There it goes...
The digital robotic churn of the clock, each ti a minute passes by.
Climp~
The sound served as a reminder of their doom once the minutes reached 60.
Levon and Shugo were wise enough to use this period to nap. But others stupidly chose to make noise and exhaust all energy within them.
"To hell with these bastards! One day, I'm going to make it out of here.
" too! And when I do, I swear I'll sue them all."
"That's right. I'm going to co out on top of whatever challenge they bloody have in store for —coming out as the strongest just to smack them in the face!"
The strongest?
"Oh?..."
A good-looking boy with silver hair suddenly spoke out, disrupting the conversation.
That voice was calm, with a hint of authority laced within it.
Levon narrowed his eyes, feeling every fiber of his body scream out in danger.
His instincts were never wrong.
This guy is dangerous... probably the most dangerous person in here.
The silver-haired boy wore a well-fitted black turtleneck top with dark blue pants.
His left ear had a black diamond earring, and tied above his right elbow was a blue scarf.
Who was he?
Levon was curious.
It was hard to describe the sensation welling up in his chest.
Behind the silver-haired were several other individuals with strikingly different personalities.
Very slowly, they walked towards the one who spoke earlier.
"The strongest, aye?"
The atmosphere around them turned grim.
It was so suffocating that no one dared to cough.
Terrible!
How can such a disastrous auras co from such a young person who was about the sa age as them?
"So... you are the one who wants to co out on top?"
"You--"
The youth trembled down to his boots the mont he locked gaze with the silver-haired boy.
Fufufufufufu~
A soft chuckle escaped the lips of the silver-haired boy.
"A word of advice to you. Next ti you say such bold remarks, validation will be required from you."
Levon, who was watching, also agreed with the silver-haired boy.
Talk like that can get you killed in his world—A world where the strong find stronger rivals to fight.
A cold glint flickered through the silver boy's eyes, wondering if he could successfully make a kill without those watching knowing.
'How annoying,' he inwardly thought when scanning the trembling youth with a hint of annoyance.
One of the silver boy's lackey's was quick to grab the victim by his collar.
"Next ti you utter even a single word around , you will lose your life, understand?"
"Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!"
The boy nodded vigorously.
Who can tell him why he was apologizing in the first place?
What wrong did he do here?
Everyone around them soon slt a foul stench, and imdiately understood that the boy peed himself from fear.
Trash.
Many inwardly scolded, thinking that if it was them, they would've been much braver than the boy.
With cold, smiling eyes, the silver-haired boy withdrew his attention from the boy.... And just when he was about to leave, his gaze fell on Levon.
The silver-haired boy playfully licked his lips with interest before leaving the scene.
'What's up with this guy?'
Levon frowned.
Shugo also seed perplexed. "Buddy, do you know him?"
"No."
"Then it sucks for you."
"Why?"
"Because that guy's a real pain in the butt."
"Know him?"
Shugo nodded with an expression Levon had never seen on his face. "Victorio Louche. We're from the sa school."
Shugo opened and closed his mouth but still couldn't speak more on Victorio.
Levon raised his brow, intrigued by Shugo's reaction.
As expected, his instincts were right.
'Victorio Louche, huh?'
Levon made a ntal note of the na, before resuming his nap.
So far, they had 1 hour 12 minutes left.
"Get so shut-eye."
"Yup," Shugo replied, soon finding himself in slumberland within a minute.
.
.
In a heartbeat, ti flowed like water.
So fell asleep, others whimpered pitifully, so continued conversing, while others just laid on their backs with deep Insomnia.
The clock counted down, until there were barely 2 minutes left.
Swish~
Levon's eyelids flew open.
"Shugo, wake up."
"Hey, it's that ti already?" Shugo rubbed his eyes like a panda. Anyone would think him defenseless.
90 more seconds to go—-Several people woke others up.
60 seconds to go—-So didn't appreciate the wake, pleading for a few more minutes as they rolled in their sleep.
20 seconds to go... 10 seconds to go.
5... 4... 3... 2... 1...
BEEP!
The clocks read: [01:30:00].
(Silence)
What now?
All that followed next was utter silence, as everyone glanced at each other vigilantly.
Levon looked around the do and had a bad feeling.
"Sothing's not right."
Compared to the last ti, no door opened when the clocks turned zero.
...It's odd.
"Shugo, get close to—."
Dammit!
Levon's printed into action, wrapping his legs under Shugo's armpits and around his back.
"Fatty, you're not made of water, you know... wake up!"
"Ah–"
Shugo felt his heart rate rising the longer he stared at the gigantic hole beneath him.
This...
What sort of examination was this?
Shugo should have been panicked and terrified, but sothing deep within him loved the THRILL.
