Arc 3, Chapter 168 — Conspiracy?

.

.

What a JERK!

Levon and many activated their shards, jumping on the Giant paper plane without haste.

Sadly, several people were a little slower, grabbing to the edge of the planes in the knock of ti.

However, by the ti Winhest took off, everyone was either sitting comfortably on the planes, or dangling for their dear lives as Winhest ruthlessly picked up speed at a sonic level.

SHIT!

This guy was terrible, but those dangling dared not let go.

Sweat threatened to trickle down their foreheads, but instantly evaporated the mont the beads were ford. That was how fast they were travelling.

Winhest truly was the devil! If anyone accidentally lets go or slips off now, then... TOO BAD. What does it have to do with him?

’Hold on... Hold on... Hold on...’ Many chanted mantras in their hearts, only praying that they arrive their destinations faster, with the speed Winhest was going. The only things people were mostly concerned about, was surprisingly not their safety—but the safety of their TOKENS!

So people had placed their tokens in their shoes, and others had weaved and intertwin Vine necklaces around these tokens, wearing them on their necks.

Don’t forget those who kept their tokens in their bosoms, or in other peculiar and weird places. Of course, their jackets had zip, so many like Levon, kept their tokens zipped up in their pockets.

Who is going to take it from them? Co on, they dare you to try!

BASTARD!

JERK!

ASEHOLE!

Many cursed Winhest in their hearts.

The journey was chaotic, and seed to go on for an eternity. Fortunately, Winhest seed to grow in confidence, as he slowed his speed after 40 minutes of travel ti.

Make no mistake, they might have travelled for minutes only... but at the speed they were going, Levon deduced that a normal vehicle might travel the sa distance in 3 days or more.

That’s right, they should have travelled a ti distance of 72 hours, if they sat in regular vehicles travelling nonstop at a steady pace.

Again, they asked: Just how big was this place?

Levon had a hunch that the world map they knew of, might actually be fake. Perhaps all information let out is what the order has allowed the public to know of.

At this point, the facts have proven ti and ti again, that the original world map he knew of, might be all FAKE!

Still... Why is it that even when flying into the moon or taking satellite images, the images don’t reflect the truth?

Why can’t the many hackers and several others not see where the Order’s fortresses are?

Please! Don’t be naive to think that there weren’t so genius people who didn’t try finding the truths about the Church’s mysterious movents. Even if they didn’t know the existence of vampires, they must have found it suspicious and gone down the rabbit hole in search of clues.

So why can’t anything get found?... Could it be that there’s so forcefield or sothing, the Order pit up to blind the masses from this place?

Can it be that they also create dangerous winds and chaotic dangers like the Bermuda triangle, that sinks and keeps all sailors at bay?

Thinking about it deeper, Levon felt he was onto sothing.

It was crazy, right?

...

’Shit, how long are we going to keep this up?’

Many had no tears but wanted to cry. Their lungs seed exasperated, and their jaws sunken. Yet, no one dared to slow their monts as they took advantage of this ti to properly find seats on the Paper plane.

Who knows if the devil that possessed Winhest earlier would kick in and have them travel at sonic speeds again?

Fufufufufufu~

Winhest chuckled when seeing that everyone was officially onboard.

Well, so long as no one has fallen off, isn’t that a good thing?

Winhest finally decided to go a little slower at a manageable pace that gave everyone the opportunity to observe their surroundings.

Eh? Where were they?

Levon was taken aback by yet another breathtaking view the Order had to offer.

Have you ever seen a waterfall flowing backwards, with the water flowing from the ground upwards?

Mystical lands and beautiful scenery quickly plagued their vision. There were countless regular sized bees squinting around... regular sized bunnies hopping around... you na it.

Yet this was very peculiar for Levon and the rest. Why were these ones normal?

After living in the order for so long, when was the last ti they saw an ordinary creature?

Impossible!—There must be so conspiracy involved in this matter.

They were too used to the bizarre creatures and beasts here that looking at the simple bunnies below felt strange.

Conspiracy!

Conspiracy!

This place must hold so conspiracy, trying to deceive those approaching by presenting such simple beasts.

Looking around, they felt even more uneasy. The place was stunning and simple with simple creatures one can find in the outside world. So why was their heart beating faster than before?

Soon, they had travelled for an additional 18 minutes before they finally saw it—a ga structure that looked like... Eh?

Levon tilted his head suspiciously. ’Is that a train station instead?’

?????

Several minutes later, Levon was dumbfounded when his speculations proved true.

’A functional train station... here?’

...

"Wicked..." the cute Gorgendoyle muttered, now standing before the Station. The building itself was a blend of Victorian grandeur and futuristic innovation—its stone walls adorned with intricate carvings of gears and clockwork chanisms.

Why did everything give them the illusion they had stepped into a steampunk era?

Above the entrance, a massive clock tower rose—its face engaged in a srizing dance of interlocking gears and blowing blue nurals.

Winhest didn’t say a thing, but everyone followed him closely.

Honestly, being inside the station was like being inside the interior of a steam field clock.

The architecture around was truly reminiscent of the 19th century, with ornate details, intricate carvings, steam powered elevators, and peculiar piping that released a whiff of steam from ti to ti.

Fhoo~

The atmosphere was filled with the hiss of steam and the clang of tal.

Down the stairs they went, soon reaching a lower platform. There, they took a left turn, walking towards an open space enclosed with specious beams.

But this wasn’t what made everyone freeze.

This... this... this...

"Monster!" Shugo blurted out with starry eyes.

How can a train be so big? This was the largest train they had ever seen.

It was black with a touch of wooden brown lining its rims and edges. Its wheels and steamy bottoms were as tall as they were... going up to 14 feet high.

In short, this Monster was a steampunk beauty that seed out of this world.

Everyone looked around, amazed by the ga train that seed as if it was built for Giants.

"Alright," Winhest began. "Let’s get this show on the road, shall we?"

Swish~

His paper shard acted once more, creating a list of groups in pairs. "If your eyes are indeed working right, then you must have seen the many separate cabins making up the train." .

One shouldn’t think these cabins were small and clustered. On the contrary, they were quite spacious and enormous.

Again, have you forgotten how they said this place looked like it was built for Giants?

"Each Cabin will carry 2 groups." A strange glint flickered through Winhest’s eyes. "You will travel together till you reach the Testing grounds in 4 days."

So It takes 4 days to reach the Phase 2 testing grounds?’ Many thought this, while heading to the cabins assigned to them as per the Group Order.

Fortunately the cabins had giant numbers scribed on them in bold Gold, enclosed by a wood brown circle in the Black train.

"Buddy, we’re in Cabin 32." Shugo muttered, following his gang along the open path that led to the fields, away from the station.

With how massive this each train compartnt was, the train’s length seed to stretch out on the tracks for as far out as the eyes could see.

Only after 12 minutes of walking, they finally reached Cabin 32. They stepped on the small black tal stairway that led to the Cabin’s tal doors. There was no resistance when opening the cabin door.

"How odd," Levon muttered. "The train’s lower structures and even its main head is made of tal. Yet, the cabins are made with Fine wood."

Don’t get him wrong, the wood was definitely that of superior quality. But why were the cabins made of black wood, while the train was that of tal?

Leo also found it weird. "Can it be that they’re doing this to lighten the load and make travel faster?"

"Must be," Rayna agreed, soon getting distracted by the grand aristocratic interiors.

Wow! Luxury oozed from all corners.

She even felt that this cabin was more luxurious than the mansion they lived in.

This...

Why does she feel that the Order has too much money than they needed?
