Chapter 649: A Dress or a Suit?
“I don’t expect myself to forgive her either.”
Aurelia paused, allowing the silence to sink in.
“I’ve been through a lot of things, but that was the closest I’ve ever been to dying. Even my Trial wasn’t that bad, in parison. I’m only here now because I was saved by Sir Darkhound’s men.”
Lillian’s face wrinkled internally, ‘Not like I can refute any of that…’
If she recalled correctly, Aurelia was one of the many nobles who had employed people to get them through Trials.
“Yeah… I can understand that. Thank you for not lashing out at me, at least.”
“Pfft, you kidding?” Aurelia giggled, “Last I checked, you weren’t the one trying the kill me.”
The Rabbit laughed sheepishly as she rubbed the back of her head, “Haha, yeah…”
Awkward silence soon returned, filling the air between them. But fortunately, it didn’t last long.
“You want to make it up to me, right?” Aurelia asked, activating a switch that heated up the teapot. “If you do one thing for me, I’ll be willing to drop some of my resentment towards your mistress.”
Lillian nodded vigorously, “Sure, sure! Tell me, and I’ll try to make it happen.”
Aurelia gestured for Lillian to lean in before whispering into the girl’s ear. Afterwards, she leaned away and gauged Lillian’s expression, which was a mixture of shock and surprise.
“S-seriously? You want that?”
“Mhm! That’s all I want.”
“Then, deal! I’m confident I can make that happen!” Lillian exclaimed, shooting up to her feet before falling back down into her chair with a sigh of relief.
The blonde woman giggled when she saw this and immediately offered Lillian a cup of tea. As the two conversed for a moment or two, Lillian’s eyes immediately shot wide open.
“Ah, right! Aurelia could you do me a big favour?”
“Sure, I hope it’s easy, because I’ll be leaving soon.”
“Yeah, yeah. So, basically…”
Aurelia nodded along to what Lillian had to say, then smirked smugly as she answered with, “So, the last act for today’s event is going to be a big dance? And you want me to make you a dress, so you could dance with your mistress?”
Lillian shyly twirled a lock of her hair, “I bought a dress beforehand when I was in Luton, but I had it stored in my ring. And because of… something unforeseen… I can’t wear it.”
Clasping her hands together, Lillian begged:
“Please help me out! I’ll pay you for your services!”
“Haaah… Fine! But I’m only doing this so you have to hold up your end of the deal.” Aurelia stood up and summoned a measuring tape from her spatial ring. “Please get up, so I can measure you.”
The measuring process didn’t take long, only a few minutes under Aurelia’s hands, who displayed professional levels of experience.
Once she finished measuring Lillian’s sizes, she scanned the girl from top to bottom, imagining the girl in a dress. But partway through, she got lost in the Rabbit’s breathtaking beauty.
Her beauty was so breathtaking, in fact, that she had to recheck her own sexuality—fearing that she might bee too attracted to the girl.
If Aurelia had to be honest, Lillian was the prettiest girl she had ever met. She had met models, idols, and powerful mages. And yet, Lillian stood above them in terms of beauty.
‘I wonder what she uses for her skin routine…’
“Uhm, Aurelia? You got a weird look in your eyes.”
“H-huh? Oh, uhm, well… Just thinking on what to make you.” Aurelia flusteredly replied.
Lillian nodded, staring at the woman with a grateful look in her eyes.
‘Aurelia Ker Viremont…’
In the future, the woman would bee a renowned artisan for clothing. Because of her ability to produce and manipulate threads, she would naturally have an edge over others of the same profession.
‘Naturally, I’m going to trust someone with an ability like that. She also es from a family of designers!’ Lillian nodded to herself, ‘She’s also my only other option besides wearing that maid uniform…’
“I’m done!”
“H-huh!? That fast?”
Before Lillian knew it, Aurelia had already finished creating the dress for her.
Or…
What she thought was going to be a dress at first.
Spreading it out on a table, Aurelia revealed an expertly made white tuxedo, a dark blue tie, white pants, and a black dress shirt.
Lillian was stunned as she held up the blazer, immediately being stunned by how soft and smooth the fabric was under her fingers. ‘It’s also incredibly light!’
With the quality of fabric the blazer was made of, Lillian was certain such a piece of clothing would sell for a very high price on the market.
‘But it’s not what I asked for…’
Looking towards Aurelia with a questioning look in her eyes, she was met with a confident expression from the blonde woman.
“I know it’s not what you ask for and how simple it is, but I honestly think you might look quite good in a suit. You have this sort of… Tomboyish energy about you.” Aurelia sheepishly stated, turning her eyes away. “But if you still want a dress, I can make it for you—”
“No, it’ll do.”
“Huh?”
Turning back to Lillian, Aurelia blinked as she found that the girl was no longer in front of her or in the room; even the clothes she had just made were no longer on the table.
“E-eh, big sis? Where’d go—?”
Door opens.
With the door to the bathroom slowly opening, Lillian walked out, fully dressed in the white suit and her hair tied into a ponytail.
As Lillian adjusted her tie, she mumbled:
“You’re right, I do look quite good in a suit. I think a dress would’ve been way too much for me, anyway.” Lillian then looked at Aurelia, now adjusting the cuff of her sleeves. The corners of the girl’s lips then curled up into a narcissistic smirk. “I also look much cooler in mens clothing, don’t you agree?”
