The light that blinded them soon disappeared, allowing them to see and discover that they were falling from a ridiculous height. And the destination of their fall? A never-ending sea below.

At first, the Captain had wished to negate the fall with his wings; however, he was soon intercepted by a mysterious force—it had followed them into this world!

They plumted towards the sea like a teor and crashed into it—

SPLASH!

—Causing a massive pillar of water to erupt where they landed.

And when the curtain of water soon fell, what was revealed inside the pillar was a large rickety wooden ship.

Lillian, kneeling on all fours on the deck of the ship, coughed repeatedly as water entered her system. Her body shook from the mysterious force outside and inside the sphere.

If she had spent any longer under the force, she feared sothing worse might have happened. Fortunately, she had her tough body to thank for surviving the invisible force.

Using her magic, she controlled the liquid to exit her body and did the sa to the Captain as well, drying them both.

Once she had removed all the water from the deck, the two of them looked around their surroundings.

They looked around at the endless sea that moved ravenously before looking above and finding the world’s ceiling to be made out of vibrant coral—where the cloud would be was a coral reef...

Where they were currently was the inside of a Mana Realm that had fixed itself into reality—a feat only mages with an A-rank Affinity could accomplish.

And the owner of this realm...?

SPLASH...

He had co to greet them himself.

The waves around them beca energetic, crashing into the side of the Captain’s ship as though they had a hostile mind of their own.

And not even a mont after this, Lillian and the Captain buckled slightly as an intimidating force fell upon them.

It wasn’t the mysterious pressure from earlier, but instead... It was a malevolent and primal feeling—far different compared to the mysterious force’s cold impression.

Lillian, whose face was frighteningly pale and sweaty, held a hand over her chest as she ignored the waves crashing against the side of their boat, causing it to rock.

Why... Why had she felt this sort of presence before...?

Unconsciously summoning her armour, gauntlets, and boots, Lillian couldn’t help but feel as though sothing in the back of her mind tickled her to rember...

Had she...

SPLASH...

Had she experienced this before?

Far in the distance, two pillars of water rose from the sea, revealing themselves to be two serpent-like heads with a draconic the to them; their eyes burned with a dark crimson light.

They had necks that sprouted twelve stories high from their body and were protected under thick azure scales that shimred as the water cascaded over them, followed by faint steam as a subtle blue glow appeared.

It was a seabeast... And a large one at that with two heads...

It had fangs that were as long as longswords and wider than Lillian’s entire body; inside the jaws of the heads of the sea beast, they were filled with them, lined orderly with near dental perfection.

And far in the back of their throats, which could only be seen with each deep breath the beast took, a subtle blue glow radiated inside.

The Captain took a singular step back as his eyes shook for a mont. He had already recognised the seabeast the mont its Predatory Aura made contact with him.

This... This thing was the Twin-headed Seawater Leviathan! The dastardly thing that had almost put down his crewmate!

"This bastard is back!" The Captain spat out furiously.

Lillian, who had already known the identity of the Leviathan beforehand, felt as though she recognised the Leviathan from deep within herself. And she had already figured out why that was... It was the mory that was locked away from her, vibrating to be freed.

Finding the feeling to be distracting, Lillian shook away the fear.

Although this Leviathan was the sa one that her past self and Righthook faced, they weren’t of the sa level.

In fact! This one that was before them was even weaker!

It was only at the Dire Rank! It may be at the peak of it, sure, but it had yet to ascend any further. And because of that, its Threat Rating was just a 5.6, which was comparable to a massive flood or storm!

As Lillian thought this, confidence soon returned, but was then put down as she was reminded that, ’It’s still no less dangerous...’

However, that wasn’t what she should be putting her focus and worry on; for the Twin-headed Seawater Leviathan wasn’t the Final Boss of this Trial.

Instead, she should be putting all of her attention towards the man seated atop the left head of the Twin-headed Seawater Leviathan—the True Final Boss.

He had a handso face with a sharp jawline, long, flowing hair that transitioned occasionally from a matte black to a shimring azure, and golden eyes that appeared glassy—he also had a glowing harpoon mark right above his right eyebrow.

His beauty was sothing that could only be compared to soone of divine. And floating right above his head was a jet-black and neon blue spiked crown made out of pure mana.

His chest was laid bare for all to see, as they would only be able to gaze upon his muscular physique and tattoos of coral reefs and large sea serpents.

From his waist down to his bare ankles and feet were dark blue tal leggings of supre quality that were made for the purpose of both being comfortable to rest in and durable enough to face the harshest of attacks head-on.

Lillian gulped heavily as an announcent rang out throughout the world in the Jester’s voice.

[50% of this Trial’s Final Boss, The Drowned King—One of the Four Mighty Sea Kings—Ruguda, has awoken...]

This man was the Drowned King and the owner of this realm.

The Captain, listening to the announcent, widened his eyes as he asked in utter shock:

"F-fifty per cent? Why...?"

He began to despair; he hadn’t ever heard of such a scenario throughout his life before!

Lillian smiled wryly at what he had just asked and continued to stare at the man identified as the Drowned King’s body; more specifically, at the blue ethereal flas that made up his body.

These flas also happened to act as a sort of half-robe for the man.

What was currently before them was rely the remnants of the Drowned King’s soul that still continued to operate as though he was still alive... And... It was by no ans nacing.

In the next mont after the Jester’s announcent ended, the Drowned King slowly raised his hand and pointed the tip of his index finger down on them with a bored and emotionless look on his face.

And then muttered one word:

"Fall."
