Knock. Knock. Knock.

Lillian stood with her arms crossed. She was currently in front of Marionette's door. She had just finished preparing dinner, and to fulfil the end of the deal, she made so for herself as well.

But... it didn't seem like Marionette was going to be opening her doors any ti soon. For so unknown reason...

Lillian scratched her head. Was pushing her out of her room a bad idea? Was she now being ignored?

She frowned.

Her mind then suddenly thought back to what happened—rembering each and every detail—before shaking her head. Still, a tad bit flustered after what had just happened.

She gave a loud sigh.

"I'll just leave it in front of her door..."

Lillian then pulled out a plate from her spacial storage, which had a lid on top to keep the food warm.

After doing that, she walked away and made her way down the hallway. However, once she did so, the door imdiately opened, albeit quietly to not alert her.

Marionette slowly poked her head out of her door. She was still in her Academy uniform, minus the black tights.

She glanced down at what Lillian had left for her before turning her gaze down the hallway. Her tender eyes then landed on Lillian's distancing figure.

After leaning down and retrieving the food, she stared back at Lillian and hesitantly held out her phone, snapping a picture and quickly returning to her room.

The next morning, Lillian sat at the table. Her elbow resting against the table and her cheek in her palm. She tapped her foot with an impatient look.

She then frowned and furrowed her brows.

"Alright. Sothing is definitely wrong."

She glanced towards the separate plate of breakfast and at her phone. She checked the ti and found that it was way past what Marionette usually gets here by.

Could it be that she woke up late? That couldn't be, right? She was strict enough herself to prevent that from happening.

"Well... there was that one ti..." Her thoughts wandered back to the first day she t her. "But since then, she has always been on ti."

She took one last glance at the ti before looking at the breakfast with a gluttonous stare. "... Since... she's not here... I can eat this, right?"

***

"Oh boy... I'm stuffed..." Lillian patted her stomach as she walked through the streets of the Bazaar. However, after the satiating feeling disappeared, she couldn't help but worry.

She did go to Marionette's room before leaving, discovering that no one was in there. She rubbed the back of her head with a frown. "Man... did I ss up?"

She thought for a mont before shaking her head. "Nope. I told her to stop and she didn't. I was justified!" she told herself out loud, garnering strange looks.

After a while, she arrived to class. It was still empty, except for a few people like the Prince, who seed to always be here.

She rembered the reason along the lines of, "If I get in early, I can sleep without worrying about being late since I'm already in class." which to be fair, was extrely logical.

She walked to the back row and sat down in her seat. She then turned to the Prince and asked:

"We're going to have to inform the entire class about the trip happening on Thursday."

Reph raised his head.

"It's on Thursday? Alright. Will you be the one doing it or should I tell them?"

Lillian gave him a wry smile, "You're the Class Representative."

"Well so are you."

"Yeah, but I'm only the Vice."

Reph tilted his head side to side before straightening his back and responding:

"Ah right... I actually have to do work. Alright. Fine. I'll inform them."

Lillian nodded and turned to the front of the class. She then waited for everyone to arrive. Soon the class was entirely filled.

Well... it would be if two people were to show up. Lillian glanced to the side and discovered that Millis and Marionette had yet to show up.

Even Gram managed to arrive on ti... without any usual issues.

She scratched her head. Where could they possibly be? There was no way both of them could be sleeping in, right?

Suddenly, Mirage bursted through the door, with his usual cold smile.

"Good morning, class! I hope you had a fun day yesterday since you had no classes. Because you won't have any either until Thursday."

This caused a few students in the classroom to frown and murmur suspiciously. The reason being, what could be the reason for this sudden change?

But of course, if you were a class representative, you would know it was because of the upcoming trip.

Just as Mirage was about to continue, the door slid open and slamd loudly. Behind it were two familiar individuals.

One was tired and annoyed with a twitching face and the other was indifferent about the forr's irritation towards them.

It was Millis and Marionette.

Mirage stared at them strangely, "Oh~? You two are late. What reason do you guys have for this?"

Millis glanced at Marionette and said:

"We... got lost."

"But you guys have been here for a month. Shouldn't you guys know by now?"

"..."

"Oh, whatever. Just take your seats. You guys aren't really that late anyway."

The two then went to their seats. But sothing wasn't right. Marionette had decided to take the seat beside the Prince instead of beside Lillian.

Not only Lillian but also Reph and Millis stare at her in surprise.

Millis glanced between the empty seat beside Lillian and the seat Marionette was in a few tis before eventually sitting down.

She then turned to Lillian and leaned in, whispering:

"Did you guys have a falling out or sothing...?"

Lillian's face wrinkled, "I hope not. But why were you guys late?"

Millis sighed and began to recount what happened.

"Basically, on my way to class, I found her just walking through the streets. I figured since she was around, so were you so I went up to her. Surprisingly ya weren't. And this caused to be dragged into quite the... adventure."

She then grabbed Lillian's shoulder and stared at her with swirling eyes, "Man... you have it rough... I lost her five tis the entire way here..."

"E-eh...? Five?"

"Five...!" She quietly yelled, frustratingly. "How the hell do ya get lost that many tis in the span of an hour?!"

Her "quiet" outburst reached Mirage's ear.

"Please quiet it down in the back."

Millis shrunk.

"And could we have the Class Representatives co up here? They have sothing they would like to share I believe..."

Lillian and Reph sighed simultaneously and got up.

While they were informing the class about the upcoming trip to the Forest of Disruption, a certain raven-haired woman, sat at the back with her phone out.

Millis, who had noticed this, leaned her head back and took a curious glance at Marionette's phone.

It was... in the cara app? And on the recording feature? What was she recording?

Millis pondered before noticing that it was specifically targeted at Lillian, who stood beside the Prince, acting "studious".

While Millis wasn't going to judge her on her... "kinks". She was confused about why Marionette was recording Lillian, doing nothing.

"Sooo... what's with the recording?" she whispered, getting Marionette's attention.

She then answered without taking her eyes off the phone, "I'm saving it for later."

"For later...? I'm sure Lillian or Reph would be glad to remind you what's going to happen on Thursday."

"I'm aware. I just..." Marionette went quiet, turning her face away from Millis and whispering, "Want Lillian in my phone..."

"Huh? What was that? I couldn't hear ya." Millis leaned in with her hand placed behind her ear.

Marionette turned back around.

"I didn't say anything. Now pay attention to what they're saying."

Millis rolled her eyes, "Yeah yeah. Ya don't gotta tell twice. But are ya sure ya alright? Nothing strange happened yesterday, right?"

She then leaned the side of her face into her palm, "Ya totally didn't like... tried to force yourself onto Lillian, right?"

Marionette's body stiffened a bit at her words, causing Millis to widen her eyes before narrowing them.

"Ohoho~ well aren't ya bold to be going after our adorable little rabbit like that~. So what, did she push ya away or sothing?"

Millis's strangely accurate guesses got Marionette to stiffen once again, except this ti, her stoic face shifted to one of slight worry.

"Who... knows..." Marionette quietly said.

Millis rolled her eyes, "Are you really worried that she's going to hate you for that?" she tilted her head at her with a blank expression—her tone changing a bit.

"I'm sure you know she's totally head-over-heels for you, right? From what I see, she acts really different around you, for so reason."

"... That's true I suppose... I'm uncertain about that first bit though."

Millis sighed.

"You're uncertain because you don't know what love really is, considering your background."

She then went quiet to think about her words.

"If you're really worried, then talk with her. Communication is always best when it cos to these sorts of matters. Right now, I think she's starting to believe that whatever she did has caused you to distance yourself from her."
