Lillian laid back against the couch, patting her stomach. She had just finished dinner and washing up.
Since she didn't have pyjamas of her own... she had to resort to using Marionette's once again.
She wore a white T-shirt and black shorts. By now, she had begun to understand Marionette's choice of colours.
She shuffled around on the couch—prepared to not get up from it.
Fortunately for her, Marionette had volunteered to do the dishes. So now, she can just sit back and relax...
She then pouted:
"Oh right... the howork... I guess I can get it done now."
She whipped out her pen and notebook from her spacial ring and pulled out her phone to look at the questions.
It wasn't particularly difficult for her, since she had rembered the answer to all of these. But she did have to admit that the act of recalling was the only challenge.
"Is she even going to understand this?"
Lillian stared down at her handwriting with a wry smile before shrugging, "h... if she can't, oh well. Howork doesn't overly matter as long as I pass the tests, right?"
She continued to scribble down her answer and at the last minute of finishing, she felt a sudden wave on the couch.
She turned to the side and saw Marionette sitting beside her.
Marionette stared down at what Lillian was doing and raised a brow, "... Deciding to do it now, hm? I suppose it is a good ti to..."
"Yep... might as well get it done now... wanna help~?"
"... I believe you can get it done easily."
"Eh... the sa could be said for you and I still helped."
"..."
Marionette stared at her before sighing, "I suppose you're right." she then patted her lap. "Co here."
Lillian was taken aback—a slight blush appearing.
"Huh? B-but I am already beside you—"
"It's easier with you on my lap. Co here," she stated, patting her lap again.
Lillian pouted, "Oh yeah?" and then patted her own lap. "How about you co and sit on mine then?"
Marionette silently stared before crawling towards her. This left Lillian a little flustered once she actually climbed onto her.
Marionette had her legs over to the side while leaning her side against Lillian.
She then leaned in and whispered into her ear:
"... So what question are you on?"
"I-I uhm... 23..."
"Already, hm?" she then began to point down at her questions.
Lillian listened dazedly as Marionette helped her through the questions, nodding absentmindedly.
While she knew that she should be focusing, she couldn't help but be distracted by the fact that she was on her lap.
It was to the point that she eventually stopped listening to Marionette and stopped writing altogether.

This left Marionette a little confused as she waved her hand before Lillian's eyes.
"Are you going to continue or..."
Lillian soon broke out of her stupor. She stared down at her notes and sighed, shaking her head.
"Nah... I'm gonna finish it tomorrow. It's due on Thursday anyway," she said, storing away the items. "Could you get the remote?"
"... The remote?"
Marionette glanced towards the coffee table and leaned over, grabbing onto the remote and passing it over to Lillian.
Lillian held the remote and pointed it towards the TV.
"Any particular show you wanna watch... Honey~?" she grinned playfully at her.
Marionette narrowed her eyes and turned her face away, "I primarily watch the news."
"Is that so?"
Lillian switched the TV to the news and placed the remote aside before wrapping her arms around Marionette's waist.
She felt as though the raven-haired woman stiffened a bit at her hold before relaxing.
The two then watched the news. Nothing much was going on today. Just so political parties banding against the royal family under the na of capitalism and so accidents that happened in the city.
Other than that, there wasn't anything special. That was until...
"The appearance of Gates in the world had increased by a concerning 9%."
Lillian watched as the news anchor talked about the sudden increase in Gates around the world with subtle shock.
Increase in Gates? Around this ti? That shouldn't be the case. She wondered what was going on.
Was her appearance affecting the world? That could most definitely be the case.
Lillian smiled a bit at this worrying news, 'Maybe so more exciting things could happen...' she then paused her thought.
'Eh... do I want to experience all that pain? Am I becoming a masochist now? Or am I just tolerant at this point...?'
She shook her head dismissively and continued to watch the TV for a couple more hours.
At so point, she eventually checked her phone and discovered it was...
[20:45]
'Huh? Already? Have I really been watching the TV for that long? Ti truly flies by, huh...?' She turned off the TV.
She then stared up at Marionette to find her reading a book. Unsurprisingly, it was the Art of Seduction. She was beginning to wonder, if she reads any other books, at this point.
Marionette noticed her gaze and glanced away from her book, "Oh... you're not watching it anymore?"
"When did you start reading?"
"... You answer mine first."
Lillian rolled her eyes, "Yeah... I stopped watching and instead began watching sothing that's more appealing to my eyes." she flirted.
Marionette stared down at her and pinched her cheek, causing Lillian to squeal.
"H-hey...!"
"You're quite flirty today, aren't you?"
She then sighed and let go, getting off Lillian, "I suppose it's ti to head off to bed, correct?"
"Eh...? Already?"
Marionette nodded, "I'm sure you don't want to wake up 'half-dead' in the morning."
Lillian nodded with a pout, "I suppose you're right..." and watched as Marionette got off the couch. However, just before she could, she dragged her back down.
Marionette back slamd into the couch. Her eyes briefly widened.
"What are you—"
She then stared as Lillian climbed on top of her, pressing her body against hers and whispered into her ear:
"How about you sleep here today with ~?"
