Arnold said with a bright smile radiating happiness, "May I know why Your Majesty took the trouble of visiting our small and humble abode? Is there anything we can do for you?"
The expressions and talking manners of both Harry and Arnold looked so exaggerated, yet they felt natural.
Harry's smile beca even more radiant as he said, "Simple. Kill for . Beco my knights."
Arnold stared at Harry blankly because he did not expect him to approach the matter so directly. He also did not expect the contents of his request to be for them to beco his knights.
Arnold's face reverted to the calm and cold expression that it always had.
Arnold said with slight curiosity in his voice, "We are just ordinary people living on the edge of Lyria, struggling to live. Your Majesty, us becoming knights is a far fetched feat isn't it?"
Harry smiled softly and said, "Well, four 'ordinary people' murdering people for at and eating it everyday even when they have enough food from stealing from others is also a far fetched feat isn't it?"
Ethan and Maxine were extrely shocked as their eyes widened when they heard what Harry had said. They had only considered the possibility that Harry could read the past of others, but they did not expect it to be real and did not prepare themselves ntally.
But Arnold on the other hand, only smiled softly as he said, "Your Majesty, as the ssenger of the ancestors, you don't mind murderers joining your army?"
Harry smiled and said while getting up, "You only saw my powers. You don't know if I am a ssenger of the ancestors or... the incarnation of all evil itself."
Hearing what Harry said wiped the smile off Arnold's face as he stared at him blankly. He did not expect the king to touch such a taboo topic openly and brazenly.
Harry walked to the hut of the door and said with a smile, "Co to the castle tomorrow morning if you want to join . You might not have much work in the start, but trust . A lot of work will co up afterwards."
Harry smiled after saying that and walked away from the hut.
Arnold stared as Harry walked away and said in a low voice while a smile slowly blossod on his face, "Interesting."
Arnold went in the hut while closing the door and asked Ethan and Maxine, "What do you say?"
Ethan said with a small smile, "I think we should join."
Maxine said in a small voice, "But he accepted that he was the incarnation of evil! We can't support such a person-"
Looking at their brother's expression which looked extrely mocking with their eyebrows raised, Maxine realised the core problem in his argunt.
"Oh right. We murder people. We are considered evil too. I forgot, sorry.", Maxine said.
