After the loss of Rae in a fierce argunt with Harry, Harry accompanied John, Catherine and the man to the farr's gathering.
But he stayed a distance of a few ters to them and was hooded, with his face not clearly visible.
It was not really that weird for hooded people to attend the gathering. The gathering was usually conducted for giving farrs tips and tricks about farming and the weather forecast, and also about the fixed rates that the food should be sold for.
The fixed rate was not followed that religiously, but the rate was like an average with a lot of farrs selling their crops for those rates.
Many farrs who are not part of the farrs' association also attend these gatherings while wearing hoods or covering themselves.
The farrs association did not mind, as it did not want to limit farming to only it's mbers. John was not really one with a dictatorial view, and hence allowed all kinds of people to attend the gathering, learn about the tricks and use it to farm.
This was not the cleverest decision, but no one really minded. His mindset was one of the reasons why he was so widely loved by all the farrs.
All of them reached the gathering and Harry sat down in an inconspicuous location to watch the proceedings of what was going to happen.
As soon as John, Catherine and the man went up to the stage, the place was eerily quiet. Everyone was looking at the three people while holding their breaths, waiting to see what they would say.
Catherine took the initiative and said in a solemn tone, "What he said was all true. We can make the lands lush again. His majesty is the ssenger of the ancestors."
The man also said so approving statents, like, 'What she said is true.'
Silence hung over the venue for a few seconds after which whispers broke out all over the place.
Suddenly, a loud male voice said, "What if you're just popularizing the king?! What if what you said is all false and your doing it as the king gave you money?!"
Gasps rang out all over the venue as farrs were trying their best to reassure themselves that what that man said was false.
They told themselves things like, "He's our leader! He would never do things like that."
But then a small voice would ask them, "But humans are prone to greed, are they not?"
Harry slightly smiled as he listened to what the man who was hooded said. He was standing alongside two other hooded people.
"Host, things are going downhill very quickly.", Rae said with a desolate voice.
"Now you see why I ca here?", Harry said.
"What'll you do now then!?", Rae asked.
"Give so item or powers! Pweaseeeeee.", Harry said as cutely and innocently as he could.
Rae felt like banging her head to a wall. Of all the Hosts she could have gotten! Him! She got him!
