Logan shook his head, dismissing the demon's words.

Who was actually right or wrong would always be up for debate. All he had to do now was overpower the enemy—they were the ones attacking his kingdom.

"Well then, Voltar… let's do this. I wonder how morphing with an insect will look."

Logan suddenly activated his skill, Soul Morph, and began absorbing Voltar into his mark.

Soon his body began to change—armor and all.

He looked down at his hands, watching as arcs of electricity danced along his limbs. His armor began to lt into his skin, becoming sothing more—a hardened exoskeleton, fusing with a new layer of chitin.

Unlike his previous morph with Scorch, this ti the armor retained its color. It glead like obsidian. Just to make sure, he flicked his finger—and heard the tallic ring. Yet he could feel the vibrations more clearly than if he were inside conventional armor.

"Strange…"

Then he felt them—two new limbs under him. He now had two arms and four legs, making him far more stable… and heavier.

His hands had beco a hybrid between katars and fingers—bladed yet dexterous.

Wings beat erratically behind him, though flight was not possible for now. But that wasn't a problem—he could simply use his wind blessing to supplent this.

Logan smiled inwardly. He couldn't properly express emotion with this new form.

Mandibles twitched near his jaw. He was no longer human… but sothing in between. A hybrid.

The insectoids and demons before him stirred.

Those behind him cried out in cheers.

Logan raised a hand—his signal to attack. He had no intention of giving or listening to long speeches. He couldn't. His voice was now only a hiss.

And so, he beat his wings again, this ti infusing them with wind magic. He launched forward, leaping high into the air, charging Volt Requiem into his fists—then ca crashing down into the center of the enemy lines.

There was no going back.

He would face them all. His army would peel the demons off him piece by piece.

The mont he landed, a crater exploded outward. Dozens—if not hundreds—of creatures and demons were blasted back. Those in the epicenter died instantly.

Arcs of electricity rippled out in a widening web. It wasn't random—Logan had cast it in advance.

Thunder Nest was released just before impact, its reach extending far beyond that of Volt Requiem. Every creature caught in the invisible web was either slowed or paralyzed—many began convulsing as electricity surged through their bodies.

The insectoids, however, were far more resilient.

Even those directly surrounding Logan—bodies smoking from the electric backlash—kept moving.

"Tough crowd… but that was only the start."

Logan took a deep breath and braced himself. He didn't plan to stop moving—not for the next hour, if he could help it. He guessed that's how long this form would last before mana exhaustion took hold. Each passing second drained various points of mana.

The fight for his kingdom had begun.

Silis and Terra joined the battle just as Logan struck the heart of the enemy. The two used their control over the terrain to devastating effect—like sharks in water, they turned the ground into a deathtrap, pulling dozens into the depths below.

Lisa, anwhile, had a different target.

Her task was to intercept one of the generals—to keep them occupied long enough for Logan to break through the main army. If she couldn't defeat him outright, then at least she would carve open a path for the others.

With a flash of radiant light, she dove from above, wings outstretched, aiming straight for Zaryx, the demon general clad in dark blue armor.

He raised a bare hand and stopped her spear mid-strike—a feat in itself, considering its razor-sharp tip.

But it didn't last.

Zaryx released it a mont later, pushing the weapon aside. The spearhead began to glow white with divine energy.

Lisa had hoped to catch him off guard, but she wasn't discouraged. Instead, she focused—refining her form and speed.

She tapped her shield twice. Both spear and shield flared with renewed power, as if the shield had absorbed so of the Holy Nova radiance.

She lunged again.

This ti, Zaryx didn't dare block the spear directly.

He dodged, sidestepped, used his armor to deflect, and finally drew his weapon: a longsword forged from a beast's fang.

"I can never understand why you humans use tal for your blades," Zaryx remarked calmly. "Even so of our kind make the sa mistake. But beast-crafted weapons… they carry more mana. More energy."

He didn't seem fazed by Lisa's aggression. His sword began to glow blue, a magic crystal embedded near the hilt pulsing with power. With each clash, Lisa noticed that her spear's divine energy was being drained, bit by bit.

"Guess I'll just have to break that fang!"

She slamd her shield into the blade, shielding herself and forcing Zaryx to adjust his stance. Every hit now demanded his full attention.

The duel had begun in earnest.

anwhile, Ruben launched forward using his ch's boosters. His control over wind wasn't as potent as Logan's, but his precision was unmatched.

He had to use both fire and wind—slting, forging, refining. Combining the two elents into a focused burst of propulsion was second nature by now.

His target was clear: the one that resembled an insect queen.

Her presence was quiet, unlike the loud demon general, but could be even more dangerous.

She needed to be kept in check. And only Ruben had the tools and strength for that fight.

He raised a gauntleted fist and charged like a missile, his suit's reinforced weight turning velocity into impact.

Within seconds, he was upon her.

Fire erupted around him—he'd prepared for this, planning to convert the montum of his strike into a full-on explosion.

His helt snapped into place, and recoil wouldn't be an issue.

Within seconds, the fields to the left erupted into an inferno—searing flas swept across the terrain, reducing the insectoids in front to smoldering charcoal.
