─────────༺༻─────────

Logan took the ti to personally teleport his two knights to their assigned ships using Silvia's short-range teleportation spell. He'd checked on them before—but not in as much detail as today. With both nearing level 80, he couldn't help but wonder what breakthroughs they might unlock before reaching the Dark Temple Island.

For now, what mattered most was their usefulness. In particular, Iron Flow Control—Kai's newly awakened tal skill—might be the only hope of repairing any damage to the ships mid-storm.

Logan didn't want to rely on it… but he needed to be sure.

He searched through his inventory and pulled out a short dagger, sothing simple enough to test the skill's limits without much risk. Making sure no one was nearby, he focused his mana control on the skill and on the object.

The blade hovered gently in place, swaying in the air as Logan manipulated it. Floating it was simple. There was ntal strain, but manageable.

Next, he bent the tal slightly from side to side. A faint creaking filled the air as the blade resisted, then obeyed, flexing in short arcs. He didn't want to overdo it—too much heat or strain might warp the weapon.

Finally, he tried to reshape the dagger—stretching its tip forward and attempting to return it to its original form.

That… didn't go as planned.

The blade ended up looking like lted clay, the tip drooping slightly. Logan blinked, then laughed.

"Well… good for ergency patchwork. But Kai and Chloe will definitely need to finish the real repairs."

He reshaped the dagger a few more tis until it was passable and returned it to his storage. With the skies darkening and the sea growing restless, he made his way back toward the deck—toward Spearfish.

The creature had been absorbing mana stones during the last half an hour. Logan stood at the edge of the ship just in ti to witness the glow surrounding it. A wave crashed against the side, splashing him and obstructing his vision. He couldn't see the transformation—but he felt it.

A pulse of mana surged from the depths as the bond seed to called out to him.

────༺༻────

[Abilities:]

─────────༺༻─────────

Logan spotted movent.

Spearfish broke the surface in a flash, its new form leaping fully out of the water. Its five-ter body arced through the sky in a spray of mist and foam. The stylized marlin-like fra, sleeker and more refined than before, it seed to glow blue from water mana under the darkening clouds. A long sail traced down its back, stretching toward its tail like a natural rudder—and at its front, the elongated nose now resembled a deadly lance, nearly a ter in length.

It wasn't even half Abyss's size, but in speed and killing ability there was so hope.

It was not just a creature it was a weapon.

The water churned violently in its wake as the newly evolved beast darted forward. The ships tilted slightly, but then stabilized. Spearfish began redirecting the waves around them—cutting paths through the forming swells like a blade parting a curtain while helping Abyss who was trying to use its body to ram into the waves.

The new evolution was exactly what Logan needed.

"Just in ti." he muttered.
